Hi friends,
I am also a victim of country club. CCIL is the worst company and for the first time i got trapped into it because of my colleague. I have already lost Rs.50K, with no hopes of getting money back. I have tried hard contacting, complaining to several people in CCIL. But of no use. This is a good lesson for everyone including me. We fall prey to luxury things very soon and end up losing. Through this forum I suggest everyone not to venture into CCIL for whatever reason.

I am totally confused now, I had purchased 2 plots in vathalakundu from country club paying 3 lakhs, actually i had no idea about them, but thru' one of my reliable relative( he is a member) myself and my brother had purchased the lands, just by placing thumb impression at 2 places in a stamp paper and i had left to Dubai. Later I heard that i got it registered only 10 months after paying the money, our relative had got the documents since i am staying in Dubai. Now, I am worried whether those are true documents or forgery. Pls suggest me what to do. Could i sell it or get refund?

One person in Hyderabad got the refund of membership fee. You can file a case in consumer court till 2 year.
I am ready and collecting the documents like news paper advertisements, mail copy, I have also submitted written complaint at their customer support office and have a receipt of it.
I am waiting for another one week and going to bump on their .
We need to check such element to stop people falling in trap of CCIL.
Please come together and scrap me if you are ready. If anyone has any experiece with conumer court please share.

I've also call from country club about u won 25000 free voucher to say one week in GOA, kerla etc.
then I went there and sales person told me about membership I decline that offer thank god i came out from trap.But I receive gift coupon what is value of it How we use it.

I have paid Rs 100000 in May 2008 to country club for their club subscription and a plot of land. This money has been paid vide EMI from ICICI Bank credit card. After almost eight months also there is nothing from them. It is a long story. They do not even pick up my call now.
I have paid Rs 20000 through EMI and now refused to pay any more. Now ICICI bank people are continuously pressuring me to make monthly payments. They refuse to take any action against Country Club.
In fact, in one of the consumer forum, I have seen that Country Club and ICICI are doing this kind of treatment to others also.
Is there a way out so that all o[censored]s can take some action against these people and get our hard earned money back and stop their cheating forever.
I will be ready to do whatever is required if at all we can unite and do some thing against think. Being educated class, we must unite and come forward to take stern action against these people who are just enjoying their lives at the cost of innocent people like us who by mistake have believed them once.

I also had a call from these guys today, they promised me a land in kolkata(?), a holiday package of 7 days with free accomodation (6 nights, 7 days) in any of their 5 star resorts in india, free passes to 7/8 parties per year, a life time membership at their local (Kolkata) clubs & all these for Rs. 85000.

i suffered a lot from no. o[censored]nwanted calls regarding upgrdation of membership and annual maintenance fee. even i paid regularly unnecessarily any one from executive will call and troubling me atleast once in a month reg annual maintenance fee, they wont chek accounts and straight away calling us and troubling a lot. really they are like anything.
I am also cheated by the false promises by sales person. When i approached with complaints, no one is there to listen. They are not releasing the membership cards and asking for additional amount, which i am not willing to pay. They agreed to give lifetime membership for certain amount which i paid in full but now they say it was mistake. This is there normal practice of cheating people. Beaware of such cheaters.
evn i got a cl from dis company and as i m single dey asked me to tak my parents dere as i have been choosen through a lucky draw for free expensive gifts therefore we decided and we were about go but just before going out my brother told me to check it out from internet, i searched about this company and i found this kind of feed back, so i m grateful to u guys dat u ppl saved me from become a victim
Thanks people.. I too got a call today for taking the gift. It was too lucrative to ignore the gift voucher, but cannot believe somebody can give such an offer. So I decided to search on the net about this. And there you go. Thanks for updating all your experiences here. It helped me from getting trapped and more than anything wasting my precious time. Never thought Country Club is such a big fraud.
I agree to all the above people, Coutry club is Fraud. This is how i was cheated. If any one of you have any info on how to get the money refunded, plz reply that would be great.

1. To start with I get a call from a ccil tele caller informing that I will get a membership for Rs. 30, 000/- only (thirty thousand only) for lifetime and a plot of 1088 dimension in Bagephalli.
2. I do not trust the rep and talk to her manager and he confirms the same over the phone, ( I have recorded all the conversation over the phone.)who confirms the same what the rep informed.
3. I asked a marketing guy to be sent to my place to check on the information, and he informs the same, and gives an option informing that you can avail emi facility of Rs. 1250. Every month towards the payment of the membership fees Rs. 30, 000/- only.
4. I tell the marketing guy I will think and get back to him, however he informs that as he has come so far, as I stay in kengari, he informs that he wants to do the formalities by just filing the form and taking few signatures and my ABN amro card impression, once I decide to go ahead he will process membership and on top of that he also informed that I will get a call from the bank confirming the payment only after that the payments will go out of my account. And the marketing guy informs that if not satisfied with membership I can cancel it within 3 months.
5. I agree and do the formalities, after a week I get a welcome package which informs that the membership fees is Rs. 60, 000/- and I have paid Rs. 30, 000/- towards it.
6. I called the customer care to know that I cannot cancel the membership as it is non refundable, and spoke to marketing guy who never picked up my calls, and his manager informs that he will try and see what can be don’t and keeps me running around for the refund promising that it will be done within 35 days.
7. I called ABN Amro Bank to dispute the charges and they do not listen to me and ask me to talk to CCIL and get the payments refunded from them.
8. After 35 days when I go to get the refund collected, he (Syed shan and Gajendran) informs that he will get the refund as soon as possible and asked for another weeks time, and after that when we go to get the refund after 1 week he informs that the check is not ready and will writes on the paper that he will give a personnel check if the refund check is not ready within the 20th August 2009.
9. Today when I go to their office to collect the refund check they inform that they will give it in the evening after 4.30Pm.
10. I tried calling the manager Shan, someone took the phone and informed that he is in a meeting and wants will call back, and when called after half an hour he informs that he will call back within 10 minutes.
11. And I get a call after half an hour and they inform that they will refund the check on next Wednesday, once again a lie.
Please Help me. I have all the supporting documents.

I was promised land too. Have seen no sign of it! And whats more, they keep promising more land at better places for an upgraded membership! I have decided not to pay the annual club charges for the rest of my life. That should recover at least part f the cost of the 'promised land'.
