[Resolved] BookMyShow — Online IPL ticket | |||||
Dear BookMyShow, You started IPL tickets selling without any prior information. This is not a way to sell tickets. You did twice, tickets of 10th and 20 April are sold online without prior notice and also when I tried to book ticket it always return to home page from check out page. This is unacceptable, I am going to complaint about this scam to consumer forum and also to government. Was this information helpful? | |||||

The notifications were sent out and information was updated on real time basis on the website as well as the mobile application. We do understand your view on this situation. When you book a ticket on our website, there are stages where you confirm your booking on the order summary page. Once you proceed to payment and the booking is confirmed, the seats are blocked at the cinema's end. We being ticket aggregates have to abide by the rules laid by the cinemas and hence cannot exchange, refund, cancel or make any manual modifications on a confirmed booking as cinemas do not have a cancellation policy. Alternatively, those tickets can be gifted/authorized to your family/ friends and you could bring a smile on their face. Hope you understand us Unnikrishnan.
