[Resolved] HDFC Bank — life insurance cheat | |||
I have purchased an insurance policy 19063049 last year. Now i have to discontinue my policy. I spoke to hdfc life insurance executive he said we are unable to discontinue the policy as its on auto debit mode an you need to inform us 15 day before of expiry date. Now you have to pay if dont have sufficent fund in you card we will charge when ever you have amount in you card. No one inform me when i purchased the policy about the renewal things. Mar 27, 2018 Complaint marked as Resolved HDFC Life customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. Verified Support Feb 24, 2018 HDFC Life Customer Care's response Hi, the auto debit mandate was active in our records basis the mandate form received by us. However, now the mandate is deactivated and no further premium amount would be auto deducted from your account. Further, incase the premium amount is not received by us towards the aforesaid policy, then the same will be made to discontinued as per terms and conditions. For more clarity, kindly write to [protected]@hdfclife.com from the registered Id to provide the information on discontinuance clause.

Just to inform you that i got a call from HDFC LIFE (Ms .Geeta) and she is pressuring me to continue this policy. This policy is become a nightmare for me if some one do not want to continue the policy because of fund issues then you people start harassing your so called customer. Even though i already put a complaint against the renewal.
Now she is saying that we will not refund your premium as it was your fault and even she is not putting all this in mail.
This is really sad. Request you to kindly look into this and process my refund.
Pathetic service ... not recommendable to any one...
