[Resolved]  Kotak Mahindra Bank - Personal Loan — -Fraud Commitment of Personal Loan

Dear Sir

This is with reference to an employee names Ms Yogita who supposedly is working with Kotak Mahindra – Personal Loan dept since last 5 years. Ms Yogita got me a Personal Loan approved of Rs 4 lakhs ( including the foreclosure of the earlier loan which I held with Kotak) in the Month of June. I have few complaints to lodge against her as an individual as she is one of the most irresponsible customer care personnel iI have come across.

1. After innumerable number of phone calls and follow ups, the loan was finally passed of an amount of rs 2.30 which Ms Yogita confirmed to me that she has got a sanction of 5 Lakhs. ( A complete misguidance to the customer). Till the time the loan got disbursed, Ms Yogita always confirmed to me that the amount approved is Rs 4 Lakhs and not 2.30. This is post considering the ongoing loan. ( I have got SMS as proof from her)

2. While getting the loan sanctioned, she literally forced me to take up the Life Insurance of Rs 25, 000.00 premium per month I already hold an insurance policy of Kotak and I did not want to take another one but she forced me to take it up assuring she will get the same refunded in a months time. After innumerable number of follow ups for almost a month after the loan being disbursed, Ms YOgita has stopped answering any phone calls completely.

3. Ms YOgita also to complete her target, requested me to open a Saving account with Kotak (which too I was not keen on) but just to keep her request, I approved of the same. Rs 5, 000.00 got debited from my account towards opening the saving account. But till date that money does no reflect in the account. I don’t have any idea how to proceed further. I received Debit card, cheque book after almost 5 weeks of opening the account and ATM pin is yet to be received. I have tried using the Debit card at several places, the card doesn’t work.

4. I have received no Contract sheet from Kotak for the loan approved till date. Its been more than 2.5 months now and 2 EMI already paid for.

5. Ms Yogita also assured me that the 1st EMI will be debited from the month of august and not july and it did not happen. EMI of 14, 440.00 got debited from my account on July 10th.

6. Ms Yogita also assured me that an additional amount of Rs 2.5 lakhs has been approved since the loan has been disbursed and kept me in complete dark and kept fooling me with false assurances on the additional loan being approved.

7. I would have had atleast 50 c0nversaions with her confirming the same and she assured me time and again about the loan being approved and also kept telling me your papers have gone for approvals, I will send someone to sign the approval letter etc. The day has till dtae not come.

8. Ms Yogita simply does not answer nay of the calls made to her or SMS sent to her. I unfortunately have no landline number to talk to her . The number she had given me is now coming as an invalid number..

9. I have got all SMS’ sent / received from Ms YOgita as a record. For oyur reference Ms YOgitas cell number I [protected] / [protected] / 67594799. I must have called Ms Yogita more than 500 times in laast 20 days ( since July 23rd as she was suppose to send a person to my residence ot get the loan paper singed), but all in vein. Have got not a single response from her of calls made/sms sent.

10. I feel completely betrayed and cheated and taken for granted and I do not expect such a treatment by Kotak as a brand. I don’t think after this incident I will ever recommend anyone Kotak as a brand to opt for any of the services. I have been into the servicing business and know people in Kotak at a senior level and its really shameful to come across customer service personnel who is so scheming and lies to the customer blatantly for her own benefit and keep the customer under loop. I am afraid this is a big fraud which I have been involved in. I will need someone to immediately look into the matter and let me know the exact status on the above issues.

My loan amount got approved but kotak people didnt disburse it and it been more than a week already. Stupids

I applied for a personal loan in Kotak Mahindra in March. My another loan of 5 Lac is running with HDFC of which I have paid 11 EMIs. I was in urgent need of 2 Lac more so I was looking for a fresh loan. Your representatives called me and suggested me to do a BT (transfer the remaining amount of HDFC in Kotak and get 2 Lac more as a top up). As per them, I will surely get around 1 Lac 75 Thousand in hand after the BT. But I was shocked to find out the real amount when I received the disbursement message. I was getting only 1 Lac 20 Thousand in Hand. Now no one is picking up the phone (the relationship manager Anubhav Jain, Arun Giri, and the sales girl Swati Arora ) to clarify things to me. I requested for the complete information about the disbursement but received nothing. I haven't received anything in my account yet but I am afraid that I will not able to do anything once the amount is credited in my account. I have all the call recordings in which they are clearly committing me the amount of around 1 Lac 75 thousand. I have mailed as well as called Kotak customer care but not getting any satisfactory answer. I want to cancel the loan with Kotak RIGHT NOW as I am considering it a scam to loot the customers. The representatives make false promises to complete their target. Once they receive the confirmation, they don't give a damn about their commitments.
