[Resolved]  Abinaya Constructions — lucky draw

Thank you guys gt the same call today! Same location Valluvar kottam...Asha was d callers name...PH: [protected]... but they didn't say they r from Abinaya constructions only about a prize money lucky draw for shopping from more for you ...they asked my parents to come over and collect the vouchers...Thank god I was able to save my parents from this...They were so much disappointed... funny that this scam has been around since 2012 n no ones taken any action!I

hi i have received a smsas on 17/01/2010 from unknown person that i have 500000/- pounds in 2010 south africa world cup intel mobile draw award. Is this true. My contact no. is [protected], & i have received this msg on the same nunber. plz confirm me.

We have received a similar call today from abinaya constructions asking us to come to vallurkottam to collect the RS 450000 worth gift voucher. I called up the tele caller who has called us and informed her that we have read the article posted abt how they chet the customers, the telecaller was speechless and cut the call.

I too got the call today stating the same 45K and they are even saying that i won it from Big Bazar coupon lucky draw. Guyz please be aware of these calls. Thanks to all those who has shared this info.

Yes, today i got call for collecting gift voucher 45000, as i have won the gift from BIG BAZZAR Lucky draw, and also said kitchen Item will be given .
Only when i went there realized Its all rubbish, Please dont waste your time and Money on these .

This is very true. I also received the call from these people and they wanted me to come with a family to the office at Anna Salai. I told them that I shall confirm tomorrow. It just sparked me to check about this in the net. Then when I google'd I found the truth. Thank you guys for posting this which saved me from my time and many other aspects.

Hi this is Mohamed, Even i recieved a call from a female named PREETHI AND UMA yesterday saying that i have won Rs.45000 surprise gift voucher for shopping in BIG BAZAAR, actually i was thinking either its a fraudulent call, but i had no access to internet to check the review of this company. So i went ahead and took my wife along with me, and we were consulted by a rep named ANUSHA, She was trying to be nice with both o[censored]s, and she said this is an offer for 15 selected families only, as a 12th anniversary of Celebrity Club, and she said Abinaya Construction is a part of it, so they are conducting it for the first time in their office. But the way she explained about the Plot and club membership showed her experience and product knowledge in this promotion which had a click on my mind that its not happening for the first time, and the way they forced to book for a plot and getting membership via credit card, which took us to a toss, and finally decided not to sign up for anything other than getting that GOA trip voucher, the moment we said "not interested".the reps face turned out dark, and finally got that voucher which has no date and hotel name in it, which it not worth of it. Company..

I received a similar call over the last 2 days and was planning to leave in a while to check it out! Thank God, I decided to do a quick check in internet and found your comments. I called twice to make sure there were no hidden costs or riders in using the GV and the consultant assured that they would never talk about membership or buying of a plot! Thanks Mr.Mohammed for warning upfront all those who would have otherwise wasted time and energy!

Friends we also received a same call 25/11/2012 at 3.25 P.M.

We were also told about the same free 45k Surface gift voucher and Kitchen set.

Caller's name was RUBY.

Same old Big Bazar, Trade Center and PVR cinimas prank.

We said we are Bachelors’ but she asked to get our friends who are couples and they will give the gift voucher.

My friend got suspicious and we checked in google and we landed up on this site.

The ph no. from which we got the call is [protected], Rama st Valluvar kottam - Nungambakkam signal near valluvar kottam independence day park.

We called again to let them know tat its a prank and her voice got low and said you need not come and collect - as i said we are about to lodge a compliaint.

Same thing happened to me. At Big bazaar, a guy took my cell # for lucky draw. Next day, Abinaya constructions called me and said that I have won 45, 000 Rs worth gift vouchers. They asked me to come only with family between 4-5 pm. I could not go. Next day they called and invited me. Finally I asked them to send the vouchers in post, they said i have to come to collect it personally at Nungambakkam.

Luckily, google search revealed these complaints and when i called them and asked about what it was. Manager Priya, then disclosed that it was promotions for resorts and stuff. But gift vouchers is true whether it is usable or not is subjective. She wouldnt say what the vouchers were.

I got so annoyed and asked them to stop such false advertising practices. Also called Big bazaar and told them about it.

Her name is Priyanga from Abinaya Construction she said this is an offer for 15 selected families only, as a 12th anniversary of Celebrity Club, and she asked to come along with my wife to moon tv, no 132 1st floor kodambakkam high road, ch 34, land mark bala tourist next building between 3 to 4 pm. no id proof address proof nothing is required just asked to come there and collect the exciting gifts, It just sparked me to check about this in the net. so i asked my sister to check in Google I found the truth at 2 pm she made a call and asked are you started, i said i am not able to come today immediately the voice of the madam changed and asked before you should say if you are not able to come, i said come to my house and give the gift to me i[censored] really need, hahahahhaha

Thank you guys for making this public. I got a similar call from abinaya constructions. It seems like a neat idea to promote sale. This is like the more you buy the more you save. So that is where the 45000 comes into play. Afterall, why should somebody give free money??? Thank you for sharing guys. by the way, the mobile number from which the call came is [protected]
