[Resolved]  ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Unnecessary Charges

I am holding an ABN AMRO freedom card from the past two years and currently I had got a call from tthe bank for one of their promos of Holidaying for which I ha drefused but still got a charge of Rs. 4500/- on my card. Later after I had made a complaint I got a call as an apology from the bank personnel and a reversal statement verbally. Just today after 10 days I get a call from the local bank for the collection of the dues and that the pending amount is still 7000/ - plus which includes the promo charges. It at times is so difficult when you get such calls when you are amidst a meeting and at the same time when you explain you still get a reply that they are not aware of the reversal and would only reflect in the next statement. Does that mean that a customer would be bullied till the next statement is made or is there any system of stopping this.

My smart gold credit card number is [protected]. This message is to bring to your kind notice appreciating your services for the past many years.

I also take the privilege to inform that I am one of the valuable customers of your bank hold a smart gold credit card for the past many years. I have paid my credit card payment regularly without a single month delay. There would have been a few late payments due to cheque payments but other wise my payment has been vey prompt.

In spite of it, the bank is charging over due credit card charges and the interest to it. Through which the amount goes beyond anybody's guess. Calcullating my payment till date, I realized that I have paid many times the credit level allotted to me.

In this case, may I request you to kindly less the amount charged against me on over credit limit charges and the interest for the same for the past seven months starting from June 2009 onwards.

Other wise I may withdraw my credit card as I am not happy to keep paying a lumsum amount for the very little usage of the card.

You may have to miss out on a valuabe customer like me.

I have taken an easy cash Loan for Rs 31100/- cheque dated 01/08/2007
and I repaid the Loan as follows
cheque no date name of the Bank Amount Rs
417161 21/8/2007 Punjab National Bank 3012=00
417162 14/9/2007 do 860=00
991155 21/9/2007 HSBC 28000=00
31872=00
Later after receiving the February statement I made a payment
Vide cheque no 216082 dated 22/2/08 ING Vysya Bank Rs 750=00
Later on I received a statement date 14/10/2007(statement period 15/9/2007 to 14/10/2007)
Payments received shown Rs 860=00
Rs 28000=00
And Amount due shown Rs 20, 345=83 with due date 3/11/2007 after receiving of this statement
I made a call on your contact number and I came to know that, I have to send a letter to Noida
Requesting that I have made all outstanding loans I want to close as early closure of the loan
Amount
Then immediately I sent a letter and later on I contacted your centre enquiring the status of the
Request and Mr Izaz telling that you have received the request letter and closing the Loan
Amount and making outstanding as zero request ID no [protected] dated 18/1/08 5:20pm
Again I received a statement 15/11/2007 to 14/12/2007 Due Amount Rs 14, 355=83
Again I received a statement 15/01/2008 to 14/02/2008 Due Amount Rs 6286=01
With minimum payment Rs 749=96( I made this minimum payment for Rs 750/-)
Then again I made a call to your contact number requested to close the loan as
Early closure request ID no [protected] dated 22/2/2008
Again I received a Mobile message that due amount is Rs 5, 577=92 dated 15/04/2007
For this I made a minimum Rs 350/- cheque no 216087dated 03/05/2008 ING vysya Bank
Again I contacted your contact number and explained all the things that only because of
Sending the early closure letter is lately you charging Rs 5577.92 it also confirmed by your
Contacted person Mr DEV contact number is [protected] dated 19/4/2008 at 2:55 pm
And advised me to send once again a request letter to close the early closure
(5577.92-350=5227/92)
again I received a call to pay by cash Rs 300/ on 25/07/2008 at ABN AMRO Bank at Hyderabad, I rushed to the Bank and I made Payment Later on I confirmed the Receipt no, as they asked after receiving the receipt no they close the Loan Amount.

recently on 29/01/2010 a call stating that he is speaking from Consumer Forum New Delhi that ABN AMRO Bank People made complaint against me that My O/S LOan is Rs 10, 000/ and I have to attend the Forum at Delhi and he is asking my mailing address he will mail the summon to me
the ABN AMRO people are very much harrasing since last 3 years over mobile

ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Harasment by their partner programme

This query pertains to Credit Card No. [protected] of Charulata Khanna

We had taken up the ABN Amro's Good Life Programme of Heritage Holidays Pvt. Ltd. in 2009 by paying the necessary charges.

As we wanted to travel in the mont of Jan 2010 we had given them sufficient time and posted the necessary documents to them in the last week of November 2009 with the Voucher No. 874363 and the necessary instructions to book the ticket post afternoon. We spoke to Ms Navneet the lady coordinating with me on more than 4 occassions.

Now because of their lethargy and non cooperative nature my vouchers have now expired and they have still not reverted back to me. I even went to the various on like air ticket booking sites and found the tickets still available at the old rates.

I would like a complete refund of the charges paid by me for this unprofessional attitute and your choice of selecting a wrong partner for the programme

The sequence of communication is attached herewith for your reference.

Kindly look into the matter and revert back at the earliest

If you cannot confirm which sounds like you are cheating us, you return the coupon and we will complain to ABN Amro Bank and ask for reversal of the amount, We had booked more than 50 days before the travel date, if you are not confirming it is your fault for which you will have to bear

I am holding an ABN AMRO freedom card [AAB card no. [protected]] which has been never used by me since card issuing date . Recently I saw my CIBIL reflecting Written Off with high credit of Rs.7, 000/-, current balance of Rs. 2, 040/- & overdue of Rs. 1, 624/-. Kindly let me know the reason of this overdue and Written Off status which is spoiling my credit history.

ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Bank claim or insist for the repayment of money as per your assumption in spite of full & final payment.

Dear Sir,

I shashi Kumar singh and I was credit card holder of ABN AMRO Bank with card no-[protected],hereby would like to inform you that I had requested for cancellation of my add on card long before but call center staff who didn’t taken action on my request and bill come along with yearly fees.

After that againg requested for cancellation & credit the annual fee which you have as a wrongly but not received any proper response and finally same bill is came along with interest charge.

Inspite of that we have stopped using the card and also have blocked the card of ABM AMRO BANK Credit card No-[protected].

By then the due amount was aprox of Rs 550.00.

In the month of July 2006,I have received a call from your person Mr. Chaudhary, Noida office regarding payment of Rs 1700/- and same time I had explain about which was wrong with me by bank.

After discussion, we have agree to pay 1420/- as a full & final payment and your persdon has came(Mr sandeep) to my office for payment collection as was discussed with Mr. Chaudhery and we had pay by cash the same amount of Rs 1420/- as a full & final payment vide payment receipt No- 90249 dated 29/7/2006.

Now after year, I have receive a call from BOI (whiling apply for home loan )regarding my name is in cibil website as a defaulter and saying you have outstanding aprox 470.00 Rs with ABN AMRO credit card bank.

Can I know that,How you can claim after full & final payment.And also pls note that, any bank in the world does not have any rights to claim or insist for the repayment of money as per your assumption inspite of full & final payment.

Requesting you,pls iform to cibil to remove my name from defaulter list.

We are enclosing herewith payment slip of full & final payment for your reference/perusal.

abnamro credit card — UNNECESSARY CHARGES

this is in regard to card no - [protected] in name of vijay mishra , i am using this card more than 7 years .

my complaints is since noveber 2009 , my actual bill is Rs 1000 /- , which i paid on prior to due date by cheque no. - 400625 , south indian bank , chandigarh - but bank did not represent in my a/c till 2 month , then i got cleared from a/c -


now bank is imposing late fee charges and keep on accumlated it . -- for which i am not liable to pay anything - now bank is harrassing me by sending bills and telephonically .

i had got all proof with me .

you are requested to please intervene and solve this issue .
