[Resolved]  ABN AMRO Credit Card — FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT

Hi,

I was using the Abn amro freedom credit card during[protected]. I had an outstanding of 21, 000 and I wanted to close the account. So collection dept, told me I can pay 14, 000 and they can give full and final settlement to close the card. I paid this amount to the collection dept, but as promised they have not sent me the full and final settlement letter. They stopped calling me asking for my dues for nearly 7 months, which made me think my card account was indeed closed. But 7 months later, the bank called me saying I still have some 9000 to be paid to the bank as outstanding dues. I was surprised that my card was not closed, even after paying for full and final settlement. I refused to pay the amount and fought with the bank. Later they have added me in the CIBIL defaulter list. They have spoiled my credibility, because of which I could not utilise any loans or anything from other banks too. Someone, has to teach ABN amro some ethics.

ABN AMRO CRDIT CARD — Imposed Unwanted Financial Charges and Taxes

Dear Gentleman

I herewith attacheing complaint against ABN Amro Bank regarding imposing unneccessary chages on the bill and the payment received before due dates, evan though late payment charges are included.
therefore I wish to complaint against the Bank for redressal of matter.

Whrereas I have not used card since last two years and they are charging retail and financial charges as per their rules and regulations.

therfore seeking your guidance and judgement in this regards

We have reviewed your card account and observed that the payments made on the account have not been satisfying the total amount due and hence the account has accrued finance charge at the rate of 3.5% on a monthly basis.Please note that the Bank levies interest on the outstanding balance if the total amount due is not paid in the subsequent payment due date.

Your account was also levied with late fees since the payments were not received as per the payment due date.

abnamro credit card — Not received the card and then to asking for outstanding amount

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have not recieved the credit card and asking for outstanding amount.Some "360 degrees" person(Om Sharma from Delhi) had called and told that you have applied for credit card and you have to pay the outstanding but I told i have not received any card how my outstanding is there on the card . He told pay Rs 1000 ad i will close this issues, I told him how and why i will pay i have not received the card and i have not done any transaction . He told the you applied we are charging service charge for applying you pay that . I have paided Rs1000 on 25/02/2009 to them now again there are calling and telling that you have outstanding amount you have to pay ...

Due to am out of station from past three months, am not able to pay .

Rs 13000 / - debited from my savings account (a/c no 1361958 ) on 12th of march without my knowledege . Without any request how it can possible .I want clarification for this .Otherwise i will proceed with legal advisor .

abn amro-credit card and loan — undue late payment and over limit charge on credit card and loan a/c

i have one cr.card no. [protected]- since 04.07. this bank had no proper collection center in jaipur, and frequently changing the vanue, from ajmer rd, civil lines, then tonk road etc as i had told by the executives over phone.and always insisting upon not to pay on these centers.they always said the executive is coming and will collect the payments without cash payment charges collects the payments, but always charged the late payment fees and next time when ever again talked over phone they said it will be reversed in next statement but the never did so.
these incidences can verified from the recording as before starting the communications always saying this communication is recorded for quality purposes.
i tried to resolve the problem but the refused to revert the late fees and over limit charges because of this late payment, because of the mislead or improper collection system

I called to check my status on one of complaint number ([protected]) which I logged on 03/03/2009 with Julie.

And also wanted to place a Late Fee reversal request for this month also since I had transferred the money from SB account in time but the late payment and finance charge have been debited to my card number. But the person whom I spoke is Meehir he was very rude and did not solve my query instead he started to shouting telling that we will not put a request to reversal of the late payment charged(650+21.15) for the month of April bill. He was not prefessional, bad-mannered and worst customer care representative I spoke to .
I would like to receive an call from ABN ambro regarding my late payment and i would love to close my card after I settling the remaining 4EMI's (2673).
Please educate your team members to how to speak to the customer first and then do the business.

ABN AMRO Credit Card — Thretning call from the Collection dept.

Hi,

This is Sanathkumar K from bangalore. I am holding ABN AMRO credit card since November 2007. Since then i have received hardly 2 original statement till November 2008. When i raised the complaint with the customer care regd the non receipt of the Hard copy of the statement they send the normal print out of the statment which is not even assited with the seal or authorised signature.

When i call them for the status of the original statement status they confirmed me that Original statement has been delivered to my residence address & signed by my self, even after many followup i did not even get any respon the status of the non deliver of the statement.

At last i got frustrated with their service & told them that i am not going to pay any amount till i get the original hard copy of the statement. later after some days (mid of Jan 09) i got the call from the collection dept (Chennai) for payment reminder. I explained all the problems which i had faced till that time.

At the end of the call he was telling me to raise the complaint in the customer care & make the payment. I told him to resolve the complaint & then ask for the payment then he started threating me that he know how to collect the payment from me & then disconnected the call.

After this incident i have sent the full detailed history to Ms Renu Joshi (Nodal Officer - Credit Cards). But even after sending the mail to nodal officer they are least bothered to take the action against the threatning call which came from the collection dept. but instead send one reference number with standard format of the mail reply.

Every month i would be receving the 3 -4 call from the collection dept for the payment recovery, when i explain the problem to them they give this feed back "OK SIR I WILL CHECK WITH THE CONCERN DEPT AND GET BACK TO YOU" & they never come back once again.

Till now they are not even able to tell me the status of the complaint which i have raised with them. past 6 months back.

I would like to bring to the concer officer who can take the necesary action againt them to avoid such type of incident not to happen in future.
DEAR SIR,
I Gurpreet Singh taken Personal Loan of rRs 700000(seven lack) from ur bank .Now i want my Loan Account No and bank employees says that there is no loan in such name and DOB. I am paying my EMI of Rupees 29330/- regularly by cheque.
Kindly confirm my loan account no or give me some correspondence as soon as possible.

ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — CREDIT CARD CLOSED

MY ABN AMRO BANK CREDIT CARD No.[protected] CLOSED ON DT.31/08/2008 VIDE RECEIPT NO.8021 FOR Rs.14000/- Cheque No.121455, dt.31/08/2008 and Receipt No.8019 for Rs.1000/-(cash) entire amount closed without settelment .This was also conformed by ABN AMRO BANK EXECUTIVE PH.NO.[protected] AND LATHA EXECUTIVE ABN AMRO BANK PH.NO.[protected] on dt.05/09/2008 but i have received statement still outstanding for Rs.6000/-+ and also i have received phone call from Executive of ABN AMRO BANK CREDIT CARD, NEW DELHI, Ph.No.[protected], He is said issue the legal notice to me aganist non payment of credit card

ABN AMRO - Savings Account — Netbanking Fraud

31st March 2009

Rs.6000/- get net transferred from my account into an unknown account number 1266126.

1st April 2009

I noticed the above transaction on 1st April 2009 and walked into the Harrington branch in Chennai. I had given a written complaint that I did not do the net transfer and had asked the Bank to look into this and refund the money. The complaint number is 12069 and this was generated at 19:03:36 on 1st April 2009.

2nd April 2009

On 2nd April, when I wanted to check if I have got my money back into my account and to see if the salary got credited, I discovered (to my shock) that the balance in my account was only Rs.374.95. When I called the Bank by phone team, I was told that there were 4 transactions in which an total of Rs.35000/- got transferred via Net into account 1266126. Details of the transaction:

11:15 AM – Rs.10000.
11:21 AM – Rs.10000.
11:25 AM – Rs.10000.
11:27 AM – Rs.5000.

On 2nd April 2009, another complaint number was generated - #026913 at 20:51:55.

The bank is yet to pay my money back. Its been 17 days since I have lost all my money from my account and the bank has not even given me a specific date by when the money will be refunded.

The bank has been so negligent in safeguarding my money inspite of giving a written complaint to them about losing Rs.6000/-. Due to the banks negligence and lack of security I have lost another Rs.35000 on 2nd April.

This is extremely bad customer service shown by the bank. The bank does not seem to be giving a safe netbanking environment to its customers. The bank also is very slow to work on the customers complaints which causes further damage to the customers.
These abn amro credit card executive are manner less people.
Kindly train them how to speak with the customer.
Got Rs.35000/- from the bank since the bank failed to safeguard my money even after giving them a written complaint. I got it back late in the evening on 17th April 2009.

ABN AMRO — Unsolicited calls for Payments.

It all started when I activated a mobile number during the begining of the year 2007. Since then I have been getting calls asking for one Mr Chandrasekar, who seems to be a defaulter of ABN Amro. A many times I have politely informed the callers that they are calling a wrong person. But they story did not end there.. till now am getting calls from the agents of the bank on regular intervals, at times the callers speak in a rude language if I refuse that I am not Mr Chandrasekar. I request someone to suggest how do proceed further to stop this non-sense.

I am holding ABN Amro Freedom Credit Card. Once company executive called and provided rosy informaiton about soem packages.Now My card is debited for same which I do not need. The Call centre peopel do not listen anything.

abnamro card — card not received

exepress it courier no:[protected] amrobankcard despatch at june 3 .2009. this card is no delivery my address .
My Card No was [protected]. Presently it was blocked . The said card full & final settlement with reference to your settlement letter ref no KO12349 dt.10.01.09 but till date I have received several telephone call from ABN AMRO executive for non payment of said card. I am totally surprised that a big gap between collection department and administrative department. If you send me the email ID of ABN AMRO Bank then i send to you SCAN COPY of settlement letter.

I hold ABNAMRO card for four years.It was a very good relationship with the bank The every upsetting experience now is that your collection executives are regularly calling and even not talking properly with our ladies even this was not atall expected from such a good bankthis torturing not even trouble me but my whole family including my children and my 58 yrs mother dont want to keep this going please give the mail for settlement and stop these collection persons to come at home and call.
Will you help us in this regards I would be very thank ful for the same.

ABN AMRO Credit Card — DEMAND FOR PAYMENT WITHOUT SENDING BILLS

I SACHIN NARWADIYA HOLDING ABN AMRO CRDIT CARD NO 5415 XXXX XXXX 2824 AND I AM VERY MUCH IN TROUBLE THAT THE COMPANY IS NOT SENDING ME BILLS AND DEMANDING ME TO PAY LIKE A ROBBER.
PLZ SOMEBODY TAKE ACTION AGAINST SUCH ROBBERS IN INDIA.
I am also a victim of ABN Amro Bank's wrong debiting. When I cleared 90% of their outstanding they have included a transaction of Rs.4500/-plus ATM withdrawal fees+interest+surcharge in my April'09 statement. When I disputed the transaction as it was not actually done by me, they asnwered that it was done by me 18 months before and due to technical reason they did not included the transaction in my statement at that time. I have been asking them to show the relevant terms & condition of CC agreement, they are unable to provide the same and still claiming that the amount in question is payable to them.
