[Resolved]  ABN AMRO Credit Card — FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT

Hi,

I was using the Abn amro freedom credit card during[protected]. I had an outstanding of 21, 000 and I wanted to close the account. So collection dept, told me I can pay 14, 000 and they can give full and final settlement to close the card. I paid this amount to the collection dept, but as promised they have not sent me the full and final settlement letter. They stopped calling me asking for my dues for nearly 7 months, which made me think my card account was indeed closed. But 7 months later, the bank called me saying I still have some 9000 to be paid to the bank as outstanding dues. I was surprised that my card was not closed, even after paying for full and final settlement. I refused to pay the amount and fought with the bank. Later they have added me in the CIBIL defaulter list. They have spoiled my credibility, because of which I could not utilise any loans or anything from other banks too. Someone, has to teach ABN amro some ethics.

Dear Sir, my card no is [protected] i received callc from amnamro for payment.but i dont have any out standing i am not using the card since four months.in the month of feb 09 i got a 4season offer.but i refused it and i did not get any statement till now. Today also i received call for the payment. Iinformed to executive officer to cancel it and take the request.But they refused to take any request. ABN AMRO Credit Card — Abusing the customer on phone

i am a person with a perfect track record with all the banks creditcard accounts and loan accounts with not even one cheque bounce. i am being called by some one from delhi telling me that they are from the abn amro collection department and wanted me to pay for some thing that i have not used for which i have proof. i have even spoken to their advocate one Mr. Praveer who sent me an notice when i told him the specific details he also accepted that i dint have to pay anything. now i get calls once in a while abusing me and my family for me the amount of eight thousand rupees is not at all a issue but i want to stand up aginst fruad these big carparates are upto i will make sure that they will pay for their mistakes.

ABN AMRO Bank — Card Bloked but till Interest Charged

Dear Sir,

I was hold a ABN Amro Credit card no. [protected] which the issued as life time free card but after one year they had charges the membership fee and then i complain to bank to reverse the charges they had debited to card accoun and bloked the card. and tell them that send me a final bill of my principal amount pending Rs. 671.32 for that i had also droped the cheque of rs. 700/- to bank at Nashik Branch but they didnot deposited the said cheque & they are charging till interest on that . i had followup many time as below by emails and finally they had send me a mail to make payment of Rs. 671.32 and i demanded the written letter/statement but till i have not recd the samd and they are continue call me on my mobile no. [protected] and harrashing me for the same matter always new person call & i am trying to sa the same to all. today also i got call from no. [protected] regards the same.

now i am not in condition to say any thing to them so please please help me for the same
what to do

before i pay the said amount i request to you that please send me a full & final account statement & final due amunt quote Rs. 671.32 to my registered address. on receipt of the finall settelment covering letter alongwith card statement. i will deposit the said amount to your bank.

and finnally what about your so many harrashment from your executive time to time from last 2 year can you repay/ count the cost of my losses due to your bank.

This to Inform to you that i had tried to tell you that i have only Rs. 700/- outstanding against the said card from last 2 years for that i was droped the cheques also which was not presented by you and you are harresmenting & disturbing to time to time by calling your call center executive in diffrent time diffrent person and i am tried to say the same thing to your all executive when they called no body see or understant the past my complains & issues. i am loosing my passions & your executivies are harrasing me by calling any time which affected my daily routine & works and because of that i am facing diffrent types of losses.

Finally i herewith kindy requested to you that Please in this condition i am not going to pay not a single amount . and please please please dont call afterwards. other wise i loudge the complain to Police & consumer court for the same.

i had keeped all rerocd & corrospondance done with your bank and can produce all soft copy proof to the same authorities.

today i am droping a cheque of Rs. 700/- bearing no. 300395 of ICICI bank Ltd dated. 03/08/07 for full & final Payment of mu principal amount .

apart from this amount i am not going to pay any amounts whichever you have debited by either any interest or charges.

as i had already told to you for Block the card is not Blocked please Block with immediate effect.

ABN AMRO Bank — Harrsment !

Respected Sir,

This complaint is in regards to the collection agency of ABN AMRO bank using abusive language being unprofessional and making a mockery of customer service( Person name ' Charles 'Noz of collection agency :[protected]).

I have the credit card account with the bank, due to job loss i m not able to pay the dues.

Charles is using abuse langage with females.

the collection agency who are unprofessional and use abusive language to the customer

This is not the first instance with them but a regular one.

ABN AMRO Credit Card — Unsolicited Calls and subsequent charges levied on the Credit Card

I just dropped off a rather ridiculous call from one of your bank representatives in Delhi.

The first call was made by one Ms.Archana Tripati from these numbers [protected] and then through [protected]. She spoke to me in Hindi about the changes that will happen in my credit card statement as the bank has been taken over by RBS. She insisted that the details about the offer will be there as part of my credit card statement next month and i don't need to pay anything out of my pocket right away. If i don't accept the offer, i will not be charged. She followed it up stating that there will be a verification call post her call which will ask for certain details but no money will be charged in my Credit Card if i don't accept the offer.

Subsequently, I got a call and one another executive stated it to be a followup verification call. Towards the end of it, she said that as i have taken up the call, my card will be charged for Rs.4500/-. Is it a daytime robbery that the bank is following or the executives are trying to make up with?

I need an explanation on what is this unsolicited call all about and the response from the bank.

ABN AMRO Credit Card — False commitment

Dear Sir/madam
I have credit card of ABN AMRO no.[protected] on which aprox Rs.900 was due while i was paying continiously, due to some reason one month late the have impose late charge 350 on it.
I have request to revert it so they have said they have been forwarded to up for approval i was waiting they don, t inform me and again impose late fees on it even earlier they have history to put different charge on my account and very irresponsible and inresponsive.
after putting next month late fee they call me and said that submit Rs1250 and rest will be removed from my account, when i have submitted they are asking whole ammount and also impose late fee because not payment of minimum ammount Rs1578

Please help in this matter

ABN AMRO Credit Card — Late payment charges & offer debits in my Credit card

While I need to pay only 10 K, the latest statement shows incremantal amount with
all the penalities of worth 33K which i am not liable to pay as there was no
reponse from ABN Amro bankl. Already pointed out the facts in the customer care and launched complaint with the reference No.1696150 - customer care executive Rajini. After that I gave the complaint again to the customer care executive Mr.Arul and the number is [protected] for which he told me that I will get call back within 24 Hrs.Nobody came back Atlast from thne legal department i received a call stating that I need to pay the amount very immediately.
So Please dont go for any credit cards, if you are having please dont attaend any calls on offers, because i am the true example for this case

ABN AMRO Gold Credit Card — plz avoid abusing calls

from last one month continously getting call in my cell from delhi tele no - [protected] some Mr RAJEEV haressing about my credit card payment, i always cooperate with him told very clearly send me the hard copy of the pendency if any on a ABNAMRO letter head after that i will sattle the payments but he talk unnessesary and urguing i spoke several times in customer care regarding this but still no solutions

Credit Card — heavy charges even after paying the dues on time

Sir my crdit card number is [protected] i had taken a loan amt for 59000/- in the barclays bank after eithth month i preclosed the lone for 15064.17 the amt reflected in april 2009 statemt after that there is no due. But some amt of 12099/- is showing as due the bank i frequently asking the bank what is the amt no body in the bank answering properly one ms suruchi told on 12 07 2009 the the preclosure was not received by the bank after verifing the previous statement i found the preclosure amt is credited in the month of april 2009 in the night again contatced the bank one mr amit kumr answered that the 12099/- is late payment charges, meanwhile the persons fron collection department people contacted me over cell number and tourcherd me they never listen that what i am telling just pay 600/- rs a min amt due the bank has given a customer care number 6000 4444 and one toll free number no body is lifting after hevy shouting one persong given the correct costmenr care number kindly take necessry action and arrange to send me the statement for 12 monts without 2 any charges

ABN AMRO Titanium Card — Cheque deposited 1 year back towards Credit Card Dues deposited now

2. Statement dated 17 July 2008 showing Late Fee of Rs. 650/- debited
on 12th July 2008
3. Statement dated 17 July 2008 showing Payment Recd. Cash at Branch
Rs. 2500/- credited on 17th July 2008
4. Statement dated 17 July 2009 showing Chq Retn Fee of Rs.500/-
debited on 4th July 2009.

As per reference 1 above I had dropped Cheque No. 24227 on 6th July 2008
drawn on HDFC Bank at your Pune Branch ATM Centre for Rs. 2400/-.

However between 8th July 2008 and 16th July 2008, I kept on receiving
calls from your call centre reminding me about the dues, and to each of
these calls I had affirmed that I had dropped Cheque No. 24227 on 6th July
2008 drawn on HDFC Bank at your Pune Branch ATM Centre for Rs. 2400/-.

After having heated arguments with the tele-executives from your call
centre I deposited Rs. 2500/- in cash on 16th July 2008 at your Pune
Branch, which reflects in your Statement dated 17 July 2008. in lieu of
the above cheque which was not deposited by you till that time, If your
calls to me are recorded properly please refer to the calls wherein your
tele-executive had threatened me to debit late fee for non-payment though
I had informed the about dropping cheque No. 24227 on 6th July 2008 drawn
on HDFC Bank at your Pune Branch ATM Centre for Rs. 2400/-.

Please refer to 2 above wherein Your Statement dated 17 July 2008 showed a
Late Fee of Rs. 650/- debited on 12th July 2008.

From 6th July 2008 till 4th July 2009, exactly for a year, this cheque No.
24227 dated 6th July 2008 drawn on HDFC Bank dropped at your Pune Branch
ATM Centre for Rs. 2400/-, was not deposited into my bank. By this time
the cheque date was also invalidated due to passing of exactly a year.

Please now refer to 4 above wherein you have debited a cheque return
handling fee of Rs. 500/-

Please note that the cheque was neither presented in time for which period
the payment was made, nor it was presented within the valid period of
three months from date of issue. In this respect please also note that the
cheque was not collected by your Executive from the Pune Branch ATM Centre
during the period it was dropped.

So also my bank has charged me Rs. 350/- as Cheque Return Charges for no
fault of mine.

I now request you to check
1. The date of the above cheque no. 24227
2. When the above cheque was collected from the Pune ATM Centre
3. When the above cheque was received by the person in-charge of
depositing the cheque, and
4. When the above cheque was deposited.
5. The Tele-executives calls logs to the undersigned.

In view of the above facts I request you to credit my account with Rs.
1500/- (Rs. 650/- Late Fee dated 12 Jul 2008 + Rs. 500 Ret Chq Handling
Charges dated 4 July 2009 + Rs. 350/- charged as Cheque Return Charges by
HDFC Bank dated 5th July 2009) in my next statement.

In case the above amounts are not credited immediately in my next
statement I will be filing a complaint with the Consumer Court in Pune for
the above redressal at your cost.

So also as the above due amount of Rs. 2400/- has been paid to you
subsequently in cash, I request you toi send my above bounced cheque to me
for my record.

not used abn amro card since last one year.all the payments made well within due date.undersigned amount still due with bank.one fine morning sending statement 7 sms showing outstanding amount of rs 636.86.

After 2 years of closure of the ABN AMRO card, they told I didn't closed the account and taken 2309/- as a penalty after putting a legal case against me. Can any body guide me what steps should I take. During these last 2 years they didn't send any statement, sms. All of a sudden they called me and told my name is sent for legal action and I have to appear in Delhi legal court. What a bank! what a business!! bravo!! I will tell all the ABN AMRO card user, close this card perfectly and get a closure letter, other wise this blood sucker will take your life one day. Spread this cheating cases among your friend.

I am also a victim of ABN Amro Bank's wrong debiting. After surrendering cards, statment still comimig to my old address for payment. I have already deosited whatever due was as per suggestion from customer care of your bank, the details are given here.I have paid Rs 23900 through cheque no.325649 dated 18.05.09 for card ending 6440, another is Rs.6600, cheque no.325648 and the last is Rs.1725 through cheque no. 325647 dated 18.05.09 of Bank of India, Gloe Market Branch Lucknow. Even in last month I have paidRs.591, through cheque no.110907, dated 15.06.09 & 189198, amounting RS.944, dated 23.07.09 for card ending 6440, through cheque no.110809, dated 15.06.09 for Rs 321 and Rs.94, cheque no.110815, dated 23.07.09 for card ending 8964 and the last amout Rs.07 through cheque no, 110808 dated 15.06.09 & 189198 for amounting Rs.13 for card ending 2309, dated 23.07.09 all belongs to SBI, Behta Saboli Branch, Kursi Road, Lucknow.Again i got an message to deosit Rs, 938.77 & 733.65 without mentiong any card number, dated 11.08.09 I am sorry to say that despite my reqular payment after surrendering the card and the amout deosited by me after getting the suggetion from customer care i am getting the staement and being gentalman i am depositing the due whats so ever.but they are not taking any care.A late fee of Rs.350 was imposed and statement dated 07.03.09 another penality i.e. Over limit fee Rs.600 was imposed in card no. ending 8964 as per the statement dated 07.03.09 has also not refunded to me, because they suddenly reduesed the credit limit.It is my sincere request to you please go through the matter as i am unable to understand there policies for making final payment after that also i am being forcesd to pay,
