Hi my aspir one laptop is regular sutdown after starting.
After starting the computer a icon create automatically
on the screen,on this icon time display 50 min after compliting
50 min computer automatically sutdown.

This is gajera babubhai k., i had bought my laptop of the model ACER ASPIRE 5920 bearing the serial no. LXAKV0C0388300D2452500 from CARE OFFICE EQUIPMENT PVT.LTD, AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT. Now the problem is that on turning on the laptop at that time to giving the instruction are 1) PXE-E 61 - media check failure check cable, 2) PXE- MOF - exiting broad com PXE ROM . AND when i touch my laptop lead side at that time there is unexpacted sound come from speaker...at that time my laptop gat so heating for hard disk side..So please do provide some assitance at your earnest and as soon as possible.please let me know where the customer care center.

.i have bought new acer aspire 5738Z.i installed xp in it but when i shut down it, it hangs up at "system is shutting down" but it doesnt shutdown. Please solve this problem.

I have purchased laptop ASP5738Z from LAPSTOP shop, Mangalore on[protected]. The serial number is LXPAROCO2691418FD72. The display problem is occurred during the work in office few days ago. The laptop is given for repair, to the shop where I have purchased it on[protected]. It was informed me to contact customer care of ACER. The complaint was given to customer care of ACER, case ID is[protected]. The laptop is taken to the service center ie VAIBHAV SOLUTIONS, Mangalore on[protected]. It was informed me on[protected] that there is a need for replacement of board, same has to be brought from Bangalore, it may take few days.
This is for your kind information that the laptop has one year warranty. Already 4 days are over without the laptop, it effected my work a lot. The delay in service is a major problem. Many of my friends shared the same experience with me regarding the service of acer. Because of recommendations of one of my friend I have opted for acer, else I had gone for other company. The poor service of Acer will effect lot for your future products. If action was not taken immediately I will have to take the matter seriously, it also makes me to see other alternatives.

Acer Aspire Laptop 5610 Series — Overheats and shuts down suddenly

This laptop is 2 years old and overheats and shuts down suddenly! Tried using a cooling fan. Technician in IT dept. worked on it numerous times--cleaning vents for dust, deleted and reinstalled entire desktop...it spent more time in the shop than at home the past 6 months. Nothing helped. It continued to shut off suddenly, even after 10 minutes o[censored]se. Seemed better when not plugged in while using it. VERY FRUSTRATING! Ended up dumping it for a new laptop...NOT AN ACER!! ( which sits in its case collecting dust.) I have read complaint after complaint of this nature and am wondering why ACER does not resolve this issue and recall these models?!

ACER India — Complain for the DVD Writer

I purchased a acer laptop Travelmate 4720 from Durgapur(Computer City) My Laptop Slno is LXTK50C0468291D9382000 on 26 oct 2008
but my DVD writer is not working so I registered a Complain in Acer Customer Care on 18-oct-2009
my Case ID is[protected] that time my warranty didn't lapsed but i didn't got the Replacement of DVD Writer
Now they telling that your DVD SerialNo. doesn't match with the product.
Now what i can do if there is not a match then why should i can suffer for this type of mistake
now they tell them your warranty is lapsed so your product can't replaced
so, respond as soon as possible, other wise i have to move to Consumer Forum

I had taken my acer laptop to a acer service centre in bangalore. Before i took it to him the battery back up was almost an hour but now after reinstalling the windows xp from him the battery backup has got down to 30mins. How can i check whether he has changed my battery.? Is the SNID and the battery number same.?

Could u please tell me what i hav to do .My laptopisn't working. when i start it, it shows "A read disk error".it can't boot.But when i entered bios it there detected the hard disk. please immediately reply for this as I can't go on without my laptap.I bought it from England, but now I am in Kerala .Atleast give me contact about near service centre .

I boght a laptop (aspire 4736z) from hongkong.there were some conditions which i forget to follow for registrations of warranty.so i came to internet and opened the page (http://registration.acer.com) .I entered the serial number.i was shocked when i saw that the serial number which i entered is invalid.
i dont know how to claim for warranty.
