[Resolved]  ACT Fibernet — Pathetic customer care/mgmt.

Beam cable is one internet provider u'll take to cry ur days for. They have the most illiterate of reps. on customer care. The guys seems to have by-hearted the sentence " sorry for the inconvenience caused sir, we’ll forward the complaint and get back to you ASAP”, and the day never comes. They’ll keep sending you sms’s on ur mobile stating” i[censored]r complaint is not resolved in 24 hours, fwd this message to 9xxxxxx”. You do whatever you want to do, the bottom line is THEY’LL RESOLVE UR PROBLEM WHEN THEY WANT TO and you can go ahead and explain ur head out to them again and again, they just wont agree.

I took beam cable in Sep’08, but have to confess this has been a complete sorry story. Let’s go one by one:
1. They charge me 1500 for installation although there is a connection right next door to me. I agreed to this, who gives a if it’s really worth.
2. In-spite of my repeated requests, the given the responsibility to take payments always comes at 8:00 AM on a WEEKEND. Can you imagine??
3. It goes on, and then one day I have to move to another place 2 blocks away. The beam cable executives with all the talent they have got to harass and irritate people with something like – not responding at all (i.e going mum completely) as if they are with me on this, and u ask them the second moment – they have the aforesaid reply ready to be smashed on my face again.
They took 20 flat days to finally move my connection after me wasting a good sum on the calls to them and on top of that the harassment they left me with COZ THEY COMPLETELY DON’T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING.
4. Today was the final nail in the coffin, their executive for some reason couldn’t call/come to my place/ come to my office for a month to take the payment and voila—my connection has been disconnected. I gave a call day before and with the sweet asses they have sitting over there in their call center, got to know that it’ll get re-connected in a day. Well 2 days are already over and still nothing. The final call from me to them minutes back enlightened me that I didn’t pick a call twice today (on the mobile I am carrying – WELL THAT”S NEWS for me) and well here the [censored] he goes again “ I have forwarded ur prob, should be sorted in 24 hrs”. Then what did the guy I called day before did, took the complaint home and on it??

I really don’t know when this complaint would be tackled but really would want to smack the face of each guy sitting in their call center. Oh, almost forgot the icing on the cake, these guys never have a MANAGER in office. I have even got responses like “he’s in the loo” and “he’s gone for a smoke” from these guys. Such is the unprofessional attitude.

Let’s see what happens. Any guy knows the right way to tackle them, send me a reply…

I am feeling bad now why I havent read this blog 10 days before. I cancelled Airtel connection and applied for Beam cable connection 10days back. Till now there is no response and no connection. It is better to loose my money rather than taking connection with Beam cable and face problems.
Haha. This is India. i finished up all my bad words b'cos of such stupid dumb asses viz the typical indians. everywhere i face such problems at the college, in hospitals etc anywhere u want to meet some indian. by the way i use sify and they respond quickly but downtime problems encounters too regularly which is worse than not having connection.
Visit the head office which is near to care hospital banjara hills, near to sakshi office, , you might get a person incharge he will assist U. Even I did the same thing, i got it rectified. While moving from that place make sure you get a higher person's contact # so that you may again esclate it to them.. All the best..

such a hopeless customer service that made me to wait for 23 min on hold...i've gone for 256 kbps plan and my goodness the page i want to login like yahoo or orkut never opens when we enter the username & password always need to refresh or when called to customer care tells us to repair every time.
I've never seen such a pathetic speed this beam cable has..i'll never tell my friends or neighbours or anyone to go for beam cable connection as it is so ridiculous, pathetic & irresistable..

Understood that the executives who ever working at u are fully commercialized
I requseted them to reistall the connection before three months back but no one is responded properly and moreover one guy came at lost and he asked me to pay 400 for connection I said ok but he is very interested for getting money but i asked him to come morning with u r teachnical guy here some problem is there once u connect and just show me after connecting to the net successfully and get u r money
but I was wondered he was saying that i was wasted my time by one hour u didnot pay but Iam waiting to get 3 months onwards for net connection

Internet is not working from last 20 days …Every day I am calling to call center & logging call …without resolving the issue I am getting message to my mobile issue is resolved .Without resolving issue closing the tickets… I am not getting proper response from call center team and technical team ..worse support by this teams… this not a good way to approach the customers … I never seen this type of worse support …

I am literal frustrated with Beam tele internet ..i don’t know whom I need to escalate and whom I need to speak .. to resolve the my issue what is the escalation matrix..

Even Area mangers and team leads not responding …..

The worst broadband service provider in the world is "Beam".

Just guys and gals never recommend this no-bother service providers to any of the new watchers or lookers.

I will never refer this Beam to any one at Hyderabad sepcifically.

i have opted the beam connection on 05th may'10 and till today the connection is not installed and i am trying to reach the sales exe either he is disconnecting my call or he is keeping is mobile switched off Executive details :Naveen [protected] Hope he is Son of BIT... and called cc so many time but pepole say that it would be done in 24 hrs and hope people working with the BEAM live for ever as their 24 hrs never complete.At last it is fuc... service.

Thinking of Beam i have cancelled the Tikona Service which was far better than Beam.

Good Know's what will happen to my beam connection and i thought i lost my 2300 rs, 6 mons adavance rental thinking that it would be best.

So all pls be aware before taking beam connection.

Reliance Broadband — Net connection doesn't work, when it works the speed is 81 kbps in 600 Kbps plan

I've Reliance Broadband and from last 2 months i'am facing the internet problem. I've record and complaint numbers since last month so I must say from last month I'am facing PROBLEMS.

My Internet plan is 600Kbps during 8am to 10pm and 1024Kbps ( 1MBPS ) during 10pm to 8am.
The Problem is that the net doesn't work at all. When it work it will be equivalent to non working because the speed i get is as high as 81Kbps in a 600Kbps plan during any time any hour.

Whenever the executive come home for the resolution of problem then, he leaves saying that the problem is from the server and will be resolved from there. Next time when the complaint is registered the same reason i get that the problem is from the server and the executive takes a leave.

The complaint numbers for this month both for net not working and for landline not working are given below

I'am now writing this complaint in the slow net so as to get my problem resolved as soon as possible and
I RECOMMEND OTHERS NOT TO USE RELIANCE BROADBAND, THERE WILL BE PROBLEM ALWAYS. I'am the experience holder.

I totally agree with these comments. Also, I like to add that I had similar kind of experiences within a period of just 3 months and worse, most of the time the net doesn't get connected during the evening/night timings and right from the floor manager or in-charge to the rep., they are really ruthless and speak rudely as if they own Beam Cable. Having paid the money, they take advantage of the customers and play with them as they wish because they think that no one here in Hyderabad or elsewhere (their corporate office) cannot take any action against these people. There are these few people with whom I had spoken with Mr. Preds, Mr. Sriram, Mr. Sandeep, Mr. Raghu, and believe me everyone are the same and they think that they can get away with anything and everything. I guess that there should be a way to stop these guys from misbehaving with customers and stop harassing the customers at the same time in this fashion. Beam cable is the worst broadband service one ever have. With such a dumb customer service alongwith no connectivity on most of the day, ruin all the excitement I used to surf the net. You keep on calling and logging the complaints and there wont be any resolution till you terminate the connection and get another connection such as Airtel. To my personal experience I would suggest all my fellow readers, don't ever go for BeamCable/BeamTele. I know the plan are very cheaper than others, but the amount of money spent on phone calls to log the call and follow up. Also the agony and truma one will go through will be much more than using other reliable broadband service such as Airtel, BSNL, Reliance. So act early, as prevention is better than cure...
I had a worst experience with Beam Cable.I am not at all satisfied with this connection.It plays a hide & sick with me.
When technician comes & change the Jack It starts working As soon as he leaves It is again disconnected.It has a very Pathetic Customer Care, It's keep on ringing but no one takes the Call.Because of this connection I had lost lot of important work.Now I'm getting rid of it .In Past 1 month, I've almost gone to its high-techcity office .Still There is no permanent solution has been made.What is the Procedure for getting refund???????
