[Resolved]  Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation — Drainage and water

Since last 2 - 3 years, we have been facing problem of getting contaminated water from our municipal water line. Our gutter line is very old & deep resulting in the leakage of the gutter line. To add more to it, the unused space in front of our home is illegally acquired by some people, who does not have any water or gutter facility, resulting in the excess garbage and making it worse to live. Because of this, many people in our area are suffering from Malaria. Please look into the matter and do the needful as early as possible. Waiting for your response. Thanks

We are residing in The Mahatma Gandhi Colony Co-op Hsg Sty Ltd, Behrampura, holding Regn. No. B-678/49 for > 50 years and we are facing acutre problem of Main Drainage leakage problem causing bad smell, unhygienic atmosphere, diseases etc and nobody turns up to clear the choke up main gutter line. It is desired that an early action to clear the main gutter line be made being obligatory services to avoid frustration amongst the members of society and diseases.

Drinking water problem in our society

I am residing in A-1315 Rajiv Park, Adinath Nagar, Odhav, Ahmedabad
and would like to draw your kind notice that since last 3 to 4 months
we are getting drinking water mixed with drinage water. We have had loadged lot of complaints in AMC Vastral office but no concrete action has yet been taken by the department as a result we are facing accute shortage of drinking water because we are not in position to store the water coming through AMC pipeline. We are hardly getting 50 minutes water in the morning out of which 20 to 25 minutes dirty water is coming with contamination of tools, urine and other drinage particle. Water samples were submitted at Vastral office number of times but authority is still sailent and none of the officers are visited to check and resolve the issue. So many people in my surroundings are suffering with jundice . I request you to depute your reporter to collect the information and also requested to help us to resolve the problem permenantly. ` SAVE LIFE - SAVE NATION.

Pl..note that I am a resident of Hariom Nagar Part-3 Behind Visat Petrol Pump where our residence do not get drinking water. Our timings are from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. but till date we are not getting the water in the said time. Our nearby neighbouring societies uses direct motor to the connection so by reaching our society it gets emptied. The first four bunglows in the society gets water but last four bunglows do not get water. We are suffering this for last 1 year. The water operator ask for the money to supply the water at that we get the full water. Kindly look into the matter at the earliest. We have complained number of times at the AMC, Chandkheda but no action has been taken.
