[Resolved]  Air Deccan — Air Deccan has not refunded me the amount of an e-ticket that I had purchased about 1.5 yrs back for a flight that was cancelled from Air Deccan side

The ticket PNR no. is DA08400306 and complaint no is 12874 (Air DEccan).

I had booked an Air Deccan ticket on 18th Dec. 2006 for the flight DN-420 from Nagpur to Hyderabad on 19th Feb-2007.
This flight was cancelled by Air Deccan due to "operational reasons" and I was told that I could refund the amount or I could book another ticket in the same sector (Nagpur to Hyderabad). The refund amount is Rs.1177.

In December I called the custommer care service of Air Deccan to get the ticket refunded. I was given a complaint no. (which i have lost now). and was told that the money will be refunded. Three months has gone by and I have still not got hte refund.

Before leaving on a business travel on Jan 18th, 2008 I had called the customer service again and asked the personnel about the status of the complaint no. He replied to me that it has been sent to the finance department and I needed to call them up. But I could not give them a call since i had to leave for my travel.

Now on 17th March I had called the custommer service again, and this time i had opened a new complaint having no. 124874 (since now I have lost the previous complaint no.). The personnel from Air deccan side had told me that i can call on 21 Mar and know the status of the refund.

On calling today to the custommer center yet again today, I was informed that it will take 14 days to service the complaint.
Once after holding me for 5 minutes they asked me to check with ICICI bank, since they claimed that the amount has been refunded to my account. Which was a lie. Since it was not so.

This process has been going on till date[protected]. In the mean time I have mailed about 6-7 times to Eshwar Singh (manager of refund department) an employee from Air deccan. He had told me that it will take 14 days to refund the amount. This was told to me on 17th April, 2008.


But till date there has been no refund, Also the air deccan officials have been callous, irresponsible and inconsiderate of this matter.

All the tactics have been involved by Air DEccan officials to keep prolonging paying me back the refund amount. So that the custommer finally gets exhasted and forgets the amount. IF a ticket has been cancelled from their side then atleast they must have some responsibility towards refunding the amount early. For no mistake of mine I have been put to this mental agony, have had to pay huge telephone bills and more importantly being distracted from my work.

After numerous warnings to Eshwar Singh (that I will be approaching consumer court) I am yet to get a convincing reply form him and Air deccan regarding the amount transfer.

i too had same problem with ezeego 1. i don't know whether you are frequent flier or not.but iam frequent flier with ezeego1.

i have booked a ticket through ezeego1, it got proccesed and promotion code also delivered and charges have been levied in to my credit card.Surprisingly i was shocked when i had seen in E-ticket there was no pnr printed& was displyed "YOUR BOOKING FAILED".

WHEN CONTACTED CUSTOMER CARE OF EZEEGO1 THE REPLY WAS TOTALLY PESSIMISTIC .
I PERSONNLY FEEL THERE MUST BE SOME GRIVINCE CELL TO TACKLE THIS TYPE OF INCIDENTS.
I cancelled a flight ticket (three passengers) from Mumbai to Kolkata on 28th March2008 due to cancellation of flight. My cancellation ref no. is 127629. The amount has not been refunded till now (5th May 2008). I mailed to CEO and Mr. Eshwar Singh, but till now no reply from any of them. The amount is more than Rs 10, 000/-. As per the information from customer care the amount has been deposited on 28th April 2008, which is wrong. My credit card does not show any refund amount from air deccan.
This was never expected from air deccan.

I had booked an Air Deccan ticket on month of March. 2008 for the flight DN-345 from Mumbai to Belgaum on 24th April-2008.
This flight was cancelled by Air Deccan due to "operational reasons" and I was told that I could refund the amount or I could book another ticket in the same sector (Mumbai to Belgaum). The refund amount is Rs.2525
In May I called the customer care service of Air Deccan to get the ticket refunded. I was given a case no. (which is of no use). And was told that the money will be refunded. One month passed I have still not received any refund amount.

Before leaving on a Belgaum, which I moved back on 10th/May’2008 back to gulf via kholapur, I had called the customer service again and asked the personnel about the status of the cancellation. He replied to me that it has been sent to the finance department and I needed to call the refund department. But I could not give them a call since i had to leave for my travel.

Now on 21st May I had called the customer service again, and this time they send me a mail with an mail ID by name Mr. Eshwar Singh I have send two mail to him not a single replied from his side

I call around four time to customer care nothing is under progress check my credit card status nothing is been refund as of today
same with my friend too i really dont know by doing this kind of excise what they are going to gain it they know very wel that we are helpless that what they are taking the advantage of the customer.

Air Deccan — Air deccan not Refunding the amount

I booked 2 tickets for 06May2008 08:55 to Mangalore through Air deccan
I cancelled it when there were more than 5Hrs for the flight as per the refund policy stated.
Its Jun19th today and the money is yet to reach me.

I have called up the customer care atleast 7 times . Everytime i call them they place me on hold and never get back to me.

Today they say that their systems have gone wrong so I wont get the money back for another month.

Isnt there a penalty to be paid for troubling people like this!

I have cancelled the air ticket on 28.9.08, ref no given, but money still not refunded.CC every time telling "given by next wk".More that 1 month gone.
Even i booked a ticket and i am not getting my money.
