[Resolved] Air Deccan — Air Deccan has not refunded me the amount of an e-ticket that I had purchased about 1.5 yrs back for a flight that was cancelled from Air Deccan side

The ticket PNR no. is DA08400306 and complaint no is 12874 (Air DEccan).
I had booked an Air Deccan ticket on 18th Dec. 2006 for the flight DN-420 from Nagpur to Hyderabad on 19th Feb-2007.
This flight was cancelled by Air Deccan due to "operational reasons" and I was told that I could refund the amount or I could book another ticket in the same sector (Nagpur to Hyderabad). The refund amount is Rs.1177.
In December I called the custommer care service of Air Deccan to get the ticket refunded. I was given a complaint no. (which i have lost now). and was told that the money will be refunded. Three months has gone by and I have still not got hte refund.
Before leaving on a business travel on Jan 18th, 2008 I had called the customer service again and asked the personnel about the status of the complaint no. He replied to me that it has been sent to the finance department and I needed to call them up. But I could not give them a call since i had to leave for my travel.
Now on 17th March I had called the custommer service again, and this time i had opened a new complaint having no. 124874 (since now I have lost the previous complaint no.). The personnel from Air deccan side had told me that i can call on 21 Mar and know the status of the refund.
On calling today to the custommer center yet again today, I was informed that it will take 14 days to service the complaint.
Once after holding me for 5 minutes they asked me to check with ICICI bank, since they claimed that the amount has been refunded to my account. Which was a lie. Since it was not so.
This process has been going on till date[protected]. In the mean time I have mailed about 6-7 times to Eshwar Singh (manager of refund department) an employee from Air deccan. He had told me that it will take 14 days to refund the amount. This was told to me on 17th April, 2008.
But till date there has been no refund, Also the air deccan officials have been callous, irresponsible and inconsiderate of this matter.
All the tactics have been involved by Air DEccan officials to keep prolonging paying me back the refund amount. So that the custommer finally gets exhasted and forgets the amount. IF a ticket has been cancelled from their side then atleast they must have some responsibility towards refunding the amount early. For no mistake of mine I have been put to this mental agony, have had to pay huge telephone bills and more importantly being distracted from my work.
After numerous warnings to Eshwar Singh (that I will be approaching consumer court) I am yet to get a convincing reply form him and Air deccan regarding the amount transfer.
