Dear Friend

I am also a central government employee. Govt is making fool of Govt Employees by giving LTC 80 system. A private airline gives u ticket of Rs 6000/- whereas a LTC 80 economy class gives to ticket of Rs 8500/- whereas refund of Rs 5525/- is applicable from Delhi - Guwhati (NE). Air India have amended its fare as well as other charges several times since 2009. But Govt deptt is still stick to LTC 80 issued in 6th January, 2009. No traveling in private Airlines have been allowed in NE till date ever after less fare than Air India LTC 80 scheme. Moreover you will not able to travel as per your schedule as Air India always over crowded. Hence it is requested to kindly look into the matter as every time a Govt Employees suffers from the policy made by Govt. Issue a fresh LTC 80 after every six months as Price Index changes after every six months, DA changes in every six months

Sir I am a central govt employee (Indian Navy) and have travelled from Kochi-Delhi-Kochi sector on LTC. At the time of booking of the ticket, the LTC 80 basis fare was spcefically requested by me. But the AI booking clerk issued LTC Q basis fare ticket stating that the LTC 80 has been changed to LTC Q basis fare in the said sector. On submission my bill to my defect accounts department they have passed the LTC 80 fare of Dec 2008 which has resulted in huge recovery from me. As I have purchased the ticket for LTC 80 fare, I do not know why the AI and defence accounts department is putting me into deep financial crunch for no fault of mine.
On contacting AI office at Kochi they simply issued a certificate saying that LTC 80 basis fare has been discontinued since 10 Mar 10 on Kochi-Delhi-Kochi sector but the defence accounts department is not ready to listen. Is any body there who can solve the problem ?

i want to go to visit jabalpur to cochine via delhi
It seems most Govt. Employees availing LTC by air are having similar experience. Would AI at least make it possible that the LTC 80 fares are available on their site EVEN FOR PAST DATES? At present they don't show even yesterday's fare [ http://www.indianairlines.in/scripts/faredisp.aspx ] and most Govt. offices having outdated list of fares, incumbent concerned doesn't know how to get justice.
