This same caller tune was faced by my servant who happened to use the aircel number. Since I am a non aircel customer, i am supposed to call[protected]aircel customer care no for non aircel users). After i called the aircel customer care no, I told them to deactivate the caller tune in my servants mobile. After listening to my query, the aircel customer care executives told me that the caller tune was activated by some third party app and you need to call 50000. 50000 is some fake number of some contest and you are charged 9 rs per min for that. I again called the aircel customer care number[protected] and I told them that if you are not stopping the caller tune service in my servant's mobile then i shall raise the complaint in the consumer forum. Pathetic service provided aircel and it appears to be some scheme of looting poor illiterate people.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused. To deactivate any VAS service, you can just type STOP and send it to 155223 OR you can call on our toll-free number 155223.

To stop caller tune u just have to send a SMS write - DT DACT and send it to "53000" a
Simply SMS STOP to 155223.
