[Resolved]  Aircel Prepaid Mobile SIM — life-time prepaid sim card blocked without my prior notice

Respected Sir, I purchased a life-time prepaid sim card from Aircel. Mobile No. is [protected] and sim No. is[protected]. As I have already been using Aircel mobile No.[protected] for over 7 years and to avoid call disturbance, I purchased another one in No.[protected]. Being a life-time sim card, I use it at my convenient time. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I did not use it for less than 2 months. Without my prior notice, any communication, my sim card was blocked. I contacted the customer care through a local dealer, who in turn informed me that my ID proof is to be updated. Immediately, I submitted one more time. After submission, to my shock and surprise, I receive "sim registration failure message". I have balane in my account more than Rs.700/- as on date. Being a life-time sim card and I paid for the cost too, blocking my sim is an unlawful act. I want the same mobile No. resumed. Thanking you, Sir,

I feel that the Aircel has cheated me. I purchased a prepaid sim card from Aircel. On proper submission of ID proof, it has been activated. Without my prior notice, any intimation, communication, my sim has been blocked. My blocked mobile No. is[protected] and sim No.[protected]. No response from local Aircel dealer. Even they have no patience to lend their ear to my grievances. Poor service!
I can understand your state but there must be some confusion in it. I would suggest you to visit the nearest Aircel store and sort it there itself. They are a helpful bunch of people and will definitely help you with it.

Aircel Prepaid — surprise debits to card

I have an Aircel Chennai prepaid card on phone [protected]. Last month a debit of Rs 30 was made to my prepaid account without any reason. The dealer then explained that perhaps we mistakenly replied to crooked SMS which had decline on the wrong side which meant that if we pressed decline tab, we were forced to accept. Since we determined not to be cheated again, we have been extra careful this time. But this month also there was a debit of Rs 30 for no reason and there are no messages that could have cheated us in this manner. My phone is registered for DNC. I would like these charges reversed and action taken on the bogus debit.
You balance cannot be deducted without rendering any service. First you should call the customer care and confirm whether you DND is active or not. This will help you to figure out the reason for the deductions and act accordingly.
In response to my complaint dated 09.03.2010, an Officer from Aircel, Ms Sangeetha (sorry for publishing her name) from Madurai contacted me over phone and advised to purchase a new "replacement sim card" through a local dealer and to inform her the new sim No. after purchase for activation. I did so. The new sim No. is[protected]. But my deactivated mobile No.[protected] is yet to be activated. However, I sincerely express my thankfullness to Ms Sangeetha who deserves laudation for her sinere efforts, customer's care, friendly approach, perseverance in restoration and spellbound. I am eagerly expecting with confidence that the deactivated mobile No.[protected] would be ACTIVATED in the offing. Thanking you, / Vinayagam Pillai - contact No.[protected].

My Name is Suresh Naik iam using Aircel Prepaid SIM Last 6 Months But Till SIM its Not Working Properly Please Do The needful My Aircel [protected]

In continuation of my letter dt 09.03.2010, I would lilke to register my another complaint that I have been using a prepaid Aircel sim for over 7 years without even a single day's break in No. [protected]. To my shock and surprise, without my prior intimation, my sim has been blocked on 31.08.2010. Already the sim No.[protected] had been blocked and a complaint thereto on 09.03.2010 is kept in abeyance. In the later sim, more than Rs.700/- was swindled by the Aircel. While contacting worst customer care service, it is charged 0.50p/3 min. What is interesting here is while the phone has been ringing up, no one does pick up the phone at the worst Customer Care Service of Aircel in order to swindle the customer's money! Is this a mobile service?? It is is equal to pick-pocket! Really I hate the Aircel WORST service. I prefer that AIRTEL is the Best Service! In response to my complaint dt 01.09.2010, my blocked prepaid sim in No.[protected] has been released
within 5 hours from the time of Registration of my complaint. Thanks to TRAI
and the Aircel. The officers involved in resumption of service deserve

I will be much grateful to you if my blocked another Aircel prepaid sim
(lifetime) in No.[protected] without any prior notice is released as early as
possible. Early compliance is sincerely expected as that the above.

I have air cell sim mobile number : [protected] purchased at Mumbai during January 20010. It is surprising that my incoming call from other states is being charged. Kindly rectify the problem.
