[Resolved] Airtel Andhra Pradesh — Fixed line outgoing disconnected | |||
We signed for Broadband and along with Airtel gave fixed line. I paid Rupees 1299/- against new connection.After couple of days, they cut off out going felicity, when I called customer care they are telling my check bounced.I inquired with my bank, and my bank told me they do not have any trace of same check. Then again, I called Airtel customer care, they told me that, they got payment. I asked them following questions: 1. What is the reason for check bounce? 2. Where did Airtel deposit my check? 3. If check is bounced, where is the check sitting now? They did not answer any question so far, my out going is not working? Be careful with airtel marketing team, they are bunch of liers. I personally went to your land line customer support center and paid 1300/- cash as your staff told me and gave me copy of reason for bounced check. The reason for bounced check is " Check is out of allotted range". I do not know what it means, as I issued many checks never had a problem, and i have lakhs of rupees in my acct.
Cash payment details:
Payment date:[protected], Reciept No[protected]
After I paid, Airtel told me that, outgoing service will be restored in 4 hrs. Today date is[protected], IT HAS NOT BEEN RESTORED YET. I have sent a long email related to same to Nodal.[protected]@airtel.in and addressed to Rajesh who is a Andhra Nodal officer.
It is shame on you that you did not resolve issue and almost 96 hrs. I have been in US almost 10 yrs, customer support in US feel shame if they are not able to resolve. If payment is due from my side, I should feel shame.
I am also giving your the complaint number: 1504192 logged by Karthik Venkatesh.
Hope you would not come up with another excuse to by pass the problem.

Dumb Airtel is still not able to resolve the issue, my out going to not working. I lost 600 calls of worth due to a month long delay in restoration and fact finding machine. Rakesh Ranga is a virtual person in the cloud sending typical generic emails. Today called customer support, they do not have any clue.
Airtel Cheating people like this, NRIs beware of Airtel. Expect many crappy companies like this in India.
