[Resolved] Airtel — Arrogant and abusive customer service executive | |||
I am from Bangalore. I called the Airtel customer care, after juggling painstaking IVR options. I had issues with call charges in my plan. I was told by the customer service executive (spoke in Kannada) , bluntly that my plan has expired. I need to look for a cheaper plan and gave me a toll free number to dial. He did not explain the plans. I did as he told, but the options did not give me a plan for my number. I called the customer service again, went through the same useless red tape. This time there was an even arrogant. He was very impatient, and spoke in a rude manner. When I asked him whether this was how the Airtel executives dealt with the customers, he abused me. I retorted back and then he disconnected the call. My question is, whether Airtel does not care about the customers? They pay these goons posing as customer care executives to abuse customers? I repent having ported to Airtel. First of all, there is no direct number to speak to customer care, and then even if it is connected to the customer care (or Customer don't care would be more appropriate) the arrogant executives audaciously abuse the customers. If you do not take action on erring executives, then shame on you Airtel. You are not the only service provider; there is a lot of competition. People would move away from your service.
