Airtel Broadband — Billing and Shifting

I had shifted my residential premises and requested for connection to be relocated. Airtel did honour that in a few days time after receiving all documentatins. Unfortunately since 6 months i had been trying to get the address changed so that i can receive bills on time and nothing happend. I escalated to their escalation dept., but everytime it was a blanket promise that the bills will reach the same day and apologies... frustrated i disconnected. On top of this after disconnection, i got the bills and the courier representative was showing faces to my family which is the most irritating part. If companies cannot take care basic address update i wonder how they will handle technical problems!!!! God Bless Airtel!!

Dear sir i have airtel brodband connection but i really unhappy with airtel broadband connection it is really giving so much headache to me. No proper person is responsible when ever i call some executive answers and tells your problem will be solved but the remains like that. I thought it a waste to talk to them. I need a concerned person to the matter and solve the problem IP charges again and again charges every month i tell u in customer care also and airtel head office at Jabalpur but there is no respond to any one finally i decided to disconnect the airtel broad band service.

Airtel Broadband — Connection disconnected but still getting bill

Dear Sir/Madam

I got mail from Airtel that my airtel connection is disconnected in April, i shifted from there...
As per customer care my outstanding was Rs 34/- ( after security deposit is adjusted) now again my previous landlord told me that i have got bill from Airtel. I have got mail from airtel and i am trying to ask customer care [protected]@ , but everytime i am getting that my request is being handled, and after 10 days when i asked status , they told me my connection will be disconnected and amount will be adjusted from security ... well i have got same mail 2 months back as well i still have that mail as well.. I have again dropped mail to airtel and now again it is saying.. they have registered my concern.
Please suggest how i can stop this harrasment.

Airtel Broadband — broadband Connection not set up

I applied for a new airtel connection on 1st June. A guy came and collected my documents (id proof and rental agreement and cheque for Rs.899)
The cheque has been debited on 11th June but I haven't yet received the connection. I tried calling people who are supposed to set it up but nobody is responding. They initially picked up my calls and said that they will have it fixed but now nobody is even picking up my calls.
I need to get the connection as soon as possible or atleast get my money back.

Airtel Broadband — Charged for totally different plan after service closed

I was having broadband connection of 1 MBps unlimited plan of INR 900 (Tel no - [protected]) per month till nov 2010. In dec 1st week, 2010 I requested them to stop the service. After that there was no Internet connection. I don't remember the request number as there was no internet connection after that.

But they sent me bill for months of dec,2010 to march 2011 of totaly different plan of INR 275 per month. And other service charges added become around INR 350 per month. I don't know what plan is that & why they were charging me.
Many times there tele callers called me for bill payment. Everytime I told them the fact that there should be no charge. And they used to tell me that they will check & get back. They never get back. Again another person from another number call & same conversation goes on. It has happened many times in jan-may.
They are harassing me mentally & now they have sent a legal notice asking for extra INR 500.

Earlier I thought its their mistake & they will resolve it, so I did nothing. But now its too much & have lodged a complain no. 47659964.
I am ready to go to even consumer court. Its not matter of INR 1458+500, which I can pay easily. Its matter of honesty, false bill & harassing customers mentally. To hide their employee mistake, they are asking me to pay bill for service which I never used.

in.airtel.com doesn't work. Go to airtel.com and then to India. Or directly copy paste in.airtel.com

Your email should be @airtel.in - the official Indian website.
This problem is solved now...I was told that I was charged for Internet bill & I was regularly arguing for internet connection..but in actually they were charging for my landline number.. now they clearly mentioned that it was for landline monthly rental even if I don't use it.
Miscommuniccation..I was arguing for Internet & they were not telling it was for landline.
Anyway it's resolved.

I am Manu Kant, using Airtel Broadband connection (Number:[protected] since May 26, 2011. When i applied for airtel broadband connection one the sales person came to collect my all the documents and amount. I have given him all the docs and amount but thing is that he filled my Customer Enrollment Form (CEF) by himself and when he gave the copy of my CEF at my home and at that time i was in my office. Now i have made so many calls to Customer care department but they are not taking any action against him. And now they have barred my all the services. Please take an appropriate action ASAP otherwise i have to go to the consumer court.

Airtel Broadband — No response to service request for shifting of modem

I had filed a service request for getting my modem shifted to another room in my apartment since the current room is being rented out. The request number is 48224286. I got absolutely no response from airtel. I called back after 2 days and I was told that their representative said that when he visited my premises at 5:45 PM and the house was locked, and that my phone was not reachable, which is not a possibility since I was taking special care to be at home everyday after 5 PM. I was made to file another complaint for the same, number for that being 48334142. Each time I call to get an update on the request, I am told that I would be contacted by today itself, but an outcome like that just doesn't seem to appear.

I am tired of following this thing up everyday and am highly disappointed with the kind of customer service I have been shown.

i am a central govt employe, i own a flat at jalandhar kunj on kapurthala road, i have rented my flat to ur employ through agent Mr Sunil Pandit, who happen to stay in that locality.your employe name is Garry about 26year old staying in my flat from the last about 14 months. now from the last three months, his where about is not known. i contacted his mobile no [protected] , he told me that he was at Goa for some training and that he will respond later on , after about one month he not bothered to pay the rent or contacted me , and he know denying that he own this number. even impersonating other person's voice and saying that info has been given to Garry.my flat is locked from outside , i suspect some foul play , please contact where ever he is and direct him to contact me. his previous mobile no is [protected] which is now switched off.he belong to jalandhar but i am not having his address.

I completely agree with the above post.
donno why for the past few months, the customer care and the service of Airtel is very bad.
They act as if they don't care about the customers, also the escalation mechanism in place is just an eye wash.

I think this is the beginning of the 'end of Airtel'

Airtel — No Connection after 12 days

I applied for Airtel broadband connection about 12 days ago. I filled out all paperwork and all the requisite amount. The chq got cleared the very next day. In a couple of days someone called and confirmed all the details.
Since then i have been only waiting to get the actual connection at my home. I have spent over Rs. 200 just calling numerous folks at airtel bangalore office since then. Each day i call about 5-7 times to no avail. Now all those folks whom i have been calling have stopped picking up my phone or disconnect while i am talking. Even after all this i have been very polite and trying to get this resolved in a very amicable way. Yet, i am not getting any help.
Neither is airtel helping nor is it refunding my money. I am now stuck. Please let me know if there is any help out there.
I even sent out an email to zonal head, but i just got an auto-responder from them asking me to provide my airtel landline number. I mean the email had a big long story stating i am struggling to get connection from airtel and the response was asking me to provide airtel landline number.

Can someone please advice on how to resolve this problem. Much appreciated.

Airtel Broadband — No proper response to complaints

Hi,

I am from Bangalore and a customer of your Broadband Service. I was staying in another place and a year ago I shifted to my current place. After coming here I am facing problems with my broadband connection on a regular basis. There has been 10/12 instances where in I had to register a complaint regarding my broadband connection in the last 9/10 months.

The problem is that every now and then my DSL goes down or the connection will not be stable, there will be constant connection drop and it has been happening since the last 9/10 months. I am really fed up with this connection of yours. After numerous complaints and numerous visits by your ignorant executives, still the problem persists. There has been instances when my complaint will be closed without solving the problem and without my knowledge. After giving a complaint I have to wait for 10/15 days to get it resolved and after that it will work for 1 week and once again it'll go down.

Kindly look at the complaints that i have given till date.

On 18th of this month I had given another complaint regarding DSL down and on 24th July I came to know that my complaint was closed without my knowledge and without resolving the issue(this being the 2nd instance, earlier it happend in April).

Every time I am being told that the underground cable strength is low and will be rectified shortly. But to my utter disappointment it never gets rectified. By calling the customer care i am spending 100 Rs every month.

Who is supposed to answer to the customer complaints?

I don't know if writing this mail will be of any help or I just wasted 10 minutes because I am hopeless now. I am going to switch over to any other service provider if the problem is not rectified shortly.
