Airtel Broadband — Billing and Shifting

I had shifted my residential premises and requested for connection to be relocated. Airtel did honour that in a few days time after receiving all documentatins. Unfortunately since 6 months i had been trying to get the address changed so that i can receive bills on time and nothing happend. I escalated to their escalation dept., but everytime it was a blanket promise that the bills will reach the same day and apologies... frustrated i disconnected. On top of this after disconnection, i got the bills and the courier representative was showing faces to my family which is the most irritating part. If companies cannot take care basic address update i wonder how they will handle technical problems!!!! God Bless Airtel!!

Airtel Broadband — Phone dead

My telephone no.[protected] has been dead for last 2 days.Kindly look into the complaint and rectify it immediately.

Worst service in Chennai. I have shifted to different house i requested to shift the connection. Whereas after 11 days also no response. I have disconnected the service.

From fist day to 11th day I called airtel customer care center to shift the connection but nothing happened. Hence I don’t suggest taking connection at all. Time waste and money waste.
Airtel technicians are dumb people who are good for nothing .. I am using airtel wifi for the past 2 months & the speed i am getting is 15 kbps which airtel claimed to provide dedicated 30 - 32 kbps .No one knows where the problem lies... Moreover, my wifi do not have any range .. signals are always low ( even when the distance b/w my laptop & modem is 0.2 m ) ... Using Airtel Services is just like hammering your legs with axe

Airtel Broadband — Subscription Of Airtel Broadband Connection

Dear Sir,

Myself Pushpa Ajmani. For airtel broadband subscription i have deposited the amount rs 750.to your Senoir Officer Mr. Arvind Kumar Upadhyay ([protected]) on 8th Aug 2009.but after taking the subscription amount he refused to activate the airtel broadband subscription.
What action shall i take to do the needful.

I am rajkumar pal and i have unlimited broadband connection of Rs. 749.I want to change my plan to Rs. 699. so i request you to please look into the matter as soon as possible.

Am staying in Hoodi circle, Bangalore..I paid money to get the connection some 2 weeks back and i still dint get the connection..Everytime i call the Airtel member either he disconnects my call or he s in a meeting or something..I wish i had not paid for airtel connection..Just a waste of my time and money
I am staying at kalkaji (K-block), New Delhi. I paid money to airtel representive Shashi Kant Prabhakar to get the broadband connection on 29 July 2009. And i am suppose to get the connecton on 31 July 2009. Later after 31 july This fellow Shashi Kant told me that they are running short of jacks to get the new broadband connection in my area. so they will reimburse my advance money that is 750 Rs. But till now i did not get any reimbursement. And whenever i am calling this guy shashi kant he is giving me execuses..
I had applied for the unlimited broadband connection (256 kbps of tariff 799/-)(Phone No. [protected] ).
Though it was installed on 12th Sept late night but after the installation itself the connection is not working.
The person who came for the installation told me he will come on the next day to fix the issue. But he did not till now.I have made lot of complaints in customer care (complain no :24327210, complain no:[protected]
but the problem is not rectified yet . Though i hope i will be charged for this period .

So, pls help me out to fix my broadband connection as soon as posiible, else i will be compelled to disconnect the line .
Looking for an immediate action at[protected].
i want to change my plan of broadband connection and switch to 512kbps speed .

I want to register complaint regarding Airtel broadband. I am bachelor & staying in house No- 1785 3B2 Mohali & applied for a broadband connection in first week of August 09. The sales person deepak & its team lead Rajendra(Mob. No-[protected], [protected]) came to me & fill up the Enrollment form No- 563369 & said that u will get connection within a day with 64 mbps speed & charged 750 +50 Rs. whereas i told them that i am bachelor. After two days when i did't get connection, I called up Airtel Customer care & tell everything. They told me that we providing the connection to bachelor if they give six month payment in advance otherwise not. & I was unable to pay six month payment in advance that's why My connection is cancelled by Airtel broadband & told me that you will get your money after 14 days but now its about two months later i did't get any cheque from Aiterl whereas i complainted two in aitel office.

Dear Friends

Please do not take Airtel Broadband connection, and advise all your friends, relatives the same. It is very fraud system and no connectivity within their departments; hence it is turning into harassment to valid customers

Iam a customer for few years and cancelled the connection on July 26, 2009.because iam moving to other location. Later I have received bill for outstanding stating bill generation date is 8th, so I paid all outstanding. I do not have any dues but on 14th September I have received a notice stating I need to pay 533/- (which is wrong from their system) and I called customer care and complained about this

Next subsequent day they called me and confirmed I need not to pay anything, please ignore previous notice, apologised for their inconvenience, then I kept quite because generally it happens

Again on 01/10/2009 they sent legal notice, mentioned 533/- and I need to pay legal charges also 500/- (this is very pathetic situation where the fault of their system, customer need to pay legal charges. Please think anywhere in the world this kind of system will be there!!!

Subsequently I spoke to customer care in the night time, they could not provide next level officer number for escalation and again I called in the morning and spoke to concerned officer, she noted my complaint and told within 24 hours it will be resolved..

But Now I will not keep quite, and decided to go for consumer court and also see how strongly reciprocate them and put the concerned person in legal net make best use for benefit of customer, and see same thing should not reveal next time and it should be lesson to all airtel authorities, make airtel to pay heavy penalty for their blunder

This entire situation if you see, is absolutely harassing a valid customer, hence I humbly request you all not to go for airtel broad band

If any one of you applied then please cancel the same

Airtel Broadband — poor service,no transparency,misinformed

hi my name is harish jangid and my airtel broadband number is[protected]. i took airtel broadband services as some of sales executive came at my doorstep with promotion.
in the month of may last week my brother got deased because of which i went to native place to perform last rights,when i came back after 1 month, i found my airtel broadband services was blocked,when i called customer service i was informed tht there is an o/s amnt of 1500 because of which my account is blocked,i told the reason why the paymnet was not made on account and i requested the agent to send someone for pymnt,very next day on 27th june someone from airtel came to my place to collect money,which i paid by cash and was informed my services will get resumed within 24 hours.
i waited for more thn 48 hours but it was blocked,i called customer service infmed abt payment made n was told will be able to connect within 4 hours
again aft a 24 hours i called and was informed that there isa outage because of which i am not able to connect to internet and so on i was calling every day for almost 10 days,every time i got the diffrent answer ,finaaly one day i asked to speak to the manager,after being on hold for almost 15 minutes,i spoke to a supervisor name dhanshree,i explained the issuse and to my surprise i was told that my airtel internet is terminated because of bed debt, i informed that i already made a payment and gave the cash reciept number,dhanshree informed me that will make a complaint stating the same and said i will get a call from the concern department within 24 hours,i waited for 3 days, i finally got a call from retention department,after i informed abt the issuse i was told that they will right off the o/s amount which was never outstanding and said will ssend a executive at my address to collect my id proof n address proof to again connect my line which never happen...
after couple of weeks i started getting calls from colletion department of airtel asking me to pay o/s amnt as well as peolple coming at my home for paymnet using profanity on calls
Airtel Broadband connection

I had called airtel broadband customer care and requested for a broadband

connection in the flat to which i am shifting in Bellandur - Req No. TBLR 0035236.
An executive called Shankar called me and informed me of the required docs. Right

from here our problems started with them. He said he would call me and come and

inspect the house and confirm if they can give connection and collect docs. But he

never would call. On repeated calling he inspected the house on 26th Sept and

confirmed that they can give connection. On 26th Sept he came and collected the

docs from me for the connection. I would call him everyday atleast 10 times for

update and he always would promise "It will be done today or tommorow i will call

back and inform" but no call from him. I escalated the matter to his boss Om

Karish, but even he turned out to be equally irresponsible and same thing repeats

promise callbacks but no calls and no connection.

On 3rd Oct I was pretty irated and when my husband called him he says they cant

give us a connection as the distribution point is overloaded. I asked him to

return my Rs2397/- so that I can get the connection from someone else and also

informed him that though he cant give me the connection i will escalate this

matter to higher authorities and even in papers. He then replies that he will try

again and get back to us by tuesday (6th OCt). I got no update from him. I called

Customer care and raised a complaint against Shankar and Om Karish. Complaint

number[protected]. Also the customer care exec informed me that the connection was

sactioned to me on 30 sept itself and the request which i had raised was also

closed. Hence I should have had got the connection on 30th sept itself or max on

1st Oct. I got a message on my ohone that someone will get back to me by 7th oct

regarding this. No one from cust care got back, instead Om Karish got back to us

and tells us i will come and give the connection on Saturday( Oct). My husband

asked why so long and he just replies "It is like that only. I cant give you

before that".

I feels like we are dealing with some govt office. We had a BSNL connection in our

old house. We opted Airtel because BSNL will take more time to give connectiona dn

I was in a urgency. I work from home and Internet is the first thing i reuire

before shifting. Now because of all these I cant even shift to the new house and I

have to pay rent in bith places. I have incurred a loss of Rs15000/-. I am

repeatedly calling Airtel customer care but no one calls back. Only promises that

i will get connection today or tommorow.

I'm Karthick working as a HR in a private company.we ordered a line for broadband and a telephone line.right from the first day we are facing so many problems.Because of this, our organization's work flow is getting scrambled.We have complained so many times.But there was no response.As acustomer, I feel very bad on the service.kindly rectify our problem.

Airtel Broadband — Broadband Helpdesk forcing to pay for erroneous billing

This is with great disappointment, that we have to report out the unhelpful and rigid behaviour displayed by staff at the Airtel Gurgaon Broadband Helpline.

The case is: - One of the workmen came to set up a new connection for another household and dialed and spoke to 10 STD numbers in Bihar from my broadband connection #[protected]. This was added to our Bill for the month of September amounting to Rs.899 which includes the misused numbers. The Helpdesk is refusing to investigate this issue and is forcing us to pay for these numbers.

Please let us know whom should we refer this case to, to get this resolved at the earliest.
We have already paid all airtel broadband bills, so, why your collection executives is coming for collection in my home. it is very pthc.

We requesting you to please inform your payment collection department to dont come any where to customer without full infromation.
