I am the customer of airtell Broadband internet connection
My Parents live in Noida and use the Internet connection at home.

Airtel has billed them wrongly and sent a bill of Rs 32000/= ( two bills of approx 15000/= + 17000/=) for not using any data connection

Airtel just keep saying that they saw the uses on their end but we never used it.

My parents are senior citizen living in the Flat and Airtel is sending the people at home and harassing them to pay the money, while they never used

I already have more peoples who have received such wrong bills.

There is a guy named Sushil who sits in the Sector-57 Noida and an employee of the airtel He misbehaves with the customers who go there.

I am one more sufferer of airtel broadband.

I had a connection of airtel broadband in March and took 555 combo plan of airtel.
Everything was fine, the bill amount was 633 most of the time and I was happy with it.

In January I received the bill for Rs 3000 and when I called them they said that there was broadband usage of 6 GB.
I know that I have not used the same and airtel is demanding wrong money from me.

I asked them to disconnect the connection.
They disconnected the connection but nobody came to pick the instrument.

Now today I got message from them that the bill for this month is Rs5216.

When the connection is given up how can the airtel send the bill to me.
I feel disgusted and I helpless.

Is there anyway handle this ?
I really feel helpless �?� .

I got disconnected my phone in Apr08 and cleared all my dues with written ( Disconnection ) application at their office.

First Airtel Exectuives are not ready to disconnect the same.
After that when i forced them to accept the application then they got ready to take the same.

Then suddenly after 15 ~ 20days i received phone call from airtel office that they are not going to disconnect the line
and providing me free usuage for 2 two months and their will be no charges.
And if you want to disconnect the line then you can disconnect the same after two months. As i have no requirement then i further requested to disconnect the same. and not used any more ( internet )
Suddenly after two months i received bill from Airtel and warnings from their collection agency to clear the bill.

I requested Airtel a number of times that i have not used their airtel connection after april. then why i have to pay such
pending amount. They are not ready to listen and even continuously disturbing me since a long time.

So please look into the same and do the needful.

I am the subscriber to Airtel Broad Band Services and my user id is [protected], account no. 12492604. I am very disappointed with the kind of services Airtel are providing these days. I talked to a lot of people in their customer care centre, but each time I am getting no solution talks.

We are in a real estate consultancy and having staff of 5 people who are using internet; our previous bills were in between of Rs. 2000.00 to 3500.00 but now from the last two months Airtel raise bill of Rs. 7510 (Billing Period 08/Aug/08 to 07/Sep/08, invoice no.[protected] and Rs. 36354 (Billing Period 08/09/08 to 07/10/08, invoice no.[protected] we were shocked that on first bill we got of Rs. 7510, & we had done complaint vide complaint no. 12205726 dt. 27 Sep. 08 and we were assured that some body with visit and try to resolve your problem but no body visited & over and above that we have got a bill of Rs. 36354, which is like 10 times for the last 10 years which is certainly impossible & as we have marked a concern on the bill of Rs. 7510 your company has not taken any action against that so we cannot imagine that there is no control on your system and no body inform us i[censored]ses go high and how can Airtel provide customer a baseless credit please verify the statement and see that we don’t face ant kind interruption in the services and please let us know what is the actual amount to be paid if we not hear anything from your end within 7 days we would be forced to take a legal action & file a consumer case against Airtel inflatory bills and non response to customer request and providing baseless credit to consumer.

Kindly take a fast action.

I have a 256 k connection wit an unlimited download package but the hidden truth is we can download only 15 GB of data and once we cross this our speed becomes half ie. 128 k till the next billing data. This information is hidden and people dont notice is it because by the time your speed problem is solved your next billing date would have appeared.
No other service provider has this rule except AIRTEL which brags about being the best in INDIA.
And even the 512 k connection has a 30 GB limit...

So look out for ur options if are going for an airtel connection- Go for it only if you dont download much even if are taking the so called " UNLIMITED" package.

Airtel Broadband — Fraud by collection agency

Here I would like to bring in notice the fraud done by Airtel.

We called up Airtel to collect the payment and Airtel executive came to collect it. My wife was there at home. Collection agent sprayed some liquid and then asked my wife to sign the chaque. She signed the chaque in unconcious state and after that collection agent fled away with the chaque and withdrawn Rs 10000/- from her account.

Now we contacted Airtel regional office in Noida and got a response from management that they are not able to trace the collection agency.

For us, that collection agent was the Airtel executive and ultimately Airtel is responsible for all this.

Can anyone suggest how can I get my money back.

I feel along with Airtel, kindly connect with your bank also. If it was a cheque, it would have got transferred into somebody;s account. You may trace that.

Second, if it was self even then bank people take the name and phone number of the person who has come to collect the cash.

AIRTEL BROADBAND ARE THE BIGGEST FRAWD & CHEATERS.

my name is navneet jain, my airtel broadband no. is [protected] (a/c no.[protected]. delhi, rohini sector-14 extension
i changed my broadband plan from unlimited to 5GB MB based limited plan on 25th march 2010, i repeated my mb based plan atleast 5 times, still due to the mistake of extremely idiotic airtel executive he changed my plan to TIME based plan (25hrs a month). after three days i got a call from airtel broadband and they told me that they have changed my plan to TIME based plan, there and then i told that exectuive about the blunder they have committed & asked them to please change my plan back to the previous one (unlimited plan), as I didnt wanted to creat another confusion.
now in the month of april, i received a bill of 2004 rs, which included DSL charges of 1250. goddamn ??????...why should i bear the dsl charges due to the stupid mistake of airtel execuitve. as always my modem kept running in those 3 days in which those stupids changed my plan time based plan, it almost made a dsl charged of 1250 in JUST 3 DAYS ...
imideately i informed airtelbroad that how the hell they have charged me so much ??? in reply to which they told me that they have taken a confirmation from us...this is total crap !! because these idiotic people who were supposed to call on my no. first they called on my dad's no. who is a 52 yr old heart patient & asked them for confirmation.
i told them who gave them the authority to call on that no. ?? as this airtel connection is on my name & i have always asked airtel people to call on this for any correspondence & apart from that when they called on my no. for confirmation ...i simply refused !!! then how come they processed that time based plan ??????
i asked them to send me a voice copy of phone conversation with me on my e-mail
where i have told them to change the plan to TIME baed plan on my no.([protected]). & i was ready to pay ten times the bill amount if i have ever said yes to that..crap...to which they refused..that they cant send me the coversation details...i asked them to take their modem & disconnect my connection, SINCE THEN I HAVENT USED THEIR INTERNET & TAKEN OFF ALL THEIR CONNECTION.
i kept on complaining, but nobody did anything, i had explain the same story again n again to every airtel executive. but they did nothing. finally on 19th or 20th april i got a call from airtel that due the confusion they will waiver the amount of rs 1000, they dont have the authority to do anything above that. just to get out this mess i agreed that if they can waiver the bill by 1000rs then i am ready to pay the bill, although i will have to pay 280 rs extra without any fault (but i just wanted to get out of this mess)...
but they were actually fooling me, they did no waiver although they wanted that i should pay the bill & they will waiver the amount in the next months bill which they didnt.
now they have been calling me, my parents again n again & these airtel recovercy people are harrasing me & my family every now & then. they have now sent me a bill of rs 2820...holyshit...when i asked them to disconnect my connection & i havent used the internet since this problem has occured ..then why should i pay the bill ???...
i am informing you this because its not a matter of money, i have been paying airtel bill for past 2 yrs ?? why would i intentionally do such default ?? its a matter of right & wrong ...& also these people are harrassing my family members ?? if they cross their limits i will go to consumer court, because it seem AIRTEL BROADBAND PEOPLE MORE THEN SERVICE PROVIDERS, THEY ARE FRAWDS, CHEATERS & CRIMINALS WHO HARASS MIDDLE CLASS FAMILY PEOPLE. i wil make sure that post this comment & mail on every internet consumer complaint website & i will also mail a copy to consumer court.
