[Resolved]  Airtel Broadband — Improper Billing

Dear Sir/Madam,

I gave a complaint regarding plan migration on 29th of September. As per their executive description it is unlimited usage with 2 MBPS for 699 per month. As per the procedure they have to change the plan with in 4 days. But my plan was migrated on 15th October. Between these days whether the plans changed or not we don't know. Right now, they slapped 2080/- bill on my broadband connection. When I contact to the customer care department they were saying that I am in limited plan. They are even not responding on this issue.

Please look into the matter and help me.

i live in cheeka distt kaithal in haryana. i purchased a pure it b4 1 year. but now battery is ended so i wanna that replace. but here is no ur any distributor. so plz give me a phone no of nearest distributor. and i want a machnic also . coz in storage tank see green water. my mob no is [protected], [protected]

Airtel Broadband Connection — I am getting someone else's bills !!

I am getting calls, messages from AIRTEL on my mobile for the broadband connection I DONT HAVE.!!! I dont have any AIRTEL broadband connection. I have already filed complaint in AIRTEL office but nothing happened. This is happening from past 4 months. Mismanagement to the core.

I am getting all the recovery agent calls for this AIRTEL land line no. [protected] which is in the name of some person called Kiran Kumar. I dont know any such person.

After clarifying to call center people multiple times also nothing has changed. Even now I get all the bill generation messages and calls.

Please take a look at this and remove my mobile no. from that persons broadband connection contact details or else I will be forced to take a legal action.

I am holding the Airtel Broadband Landline since last 6 Months, I have received the March Month Bill for Rs.-58/-, In the April Month Bill i was asked to Pay Rs. 1850/- instead of Rs.850/-. They informed me that you earlier chq. got bounced & after great deficulties I have got the chq. no. & Bank details, I noticed that the same was not related to me. The same was confirmed by airtel Accounts department and requested me to talk to billing department. Billing departments wants me to pay the full amout the same will be adjusted in next bill.

Due to the mistake of Airtel Billing & Accounts department, I am harrassed to the core atleast 10 Phone calls daily, Deactivated the Landline for 1 Month. moreover threating notice from Airtel Legal department saying that they will put my details in defalters list & issue to all.

This is the way to treat the customer.??????????????????

Herewith I request my friends think twice on getting into the AIRTEL PRODUCT / Service........

I am Airtel broadband customer for last 3 months. I have taken impatient 799 plan which has 5GB free usage. First month bill was fine. However for 2nd and 3rd month (April/May) I was charged 400-500 extra quoting that I had used more than 5GB. In fact based on the details in my bill I see that I wasn't even online when majority of the large downloads happened.

When I complained to Airtel, they promised to look into this. Yet after 1 week of so called "Investigation" they shamelessly sent an email to me indicating that I had used more than 5GB. This is a fraudulent company which doesn't care about its customers. Despite multiple calls/emails the issue is unresolved. I planning to take them to consumer court. Does someone have first hand experience in dealing with such bogus big brand companies?

Nothing has been done to resolve the root cause - which is someone else misusing my connection to download. All I was told that it was indeed me who has crossed 5GB usage for last 2 months when I clearly mentioned that I wasn't even online at the time majority of large downloads happened - some of them as big as 1GB in one day!

BTW I am still using default PPPoE password. So anyone who has my username and password can use my account by entering those details in the modem. When I purchased the modem, Airtel authorized agency which sold the Binatone modem to me showed me that he could establish connection even from him landline. So I am sure with no MAC binding whatsoever anyone else can also do the same.

Despite all my tries I couldn''t find out a way to change my PPPoE password. Your NetXpert application fails to recognize the modem. I am shocked that you guys don't even publish a website where customer can login and change PPPoE password
My primary concern about inaccurate billing is not resolved yet. In fact no progress has been made and no one at Airtel including nodal officer has bothered to respond to my complaint. The only response I got from airtel was call to explain that my own PPPoE Airtel password cannot be chosen.

It is really shocking that I cannot choose my own password. What type of security policy is that!!! I am sure many more customers are being ripped apart like me due to fraudulent usage of our internet bandwidth by other people. Its utterly disgusting that you are marking the issue resolved even when absolutely zero progress has been made
plz send the person for changing the battery of pureit. i have required battery capacity of 3000 lit ( amt 500 rs ) actually i dont know my no. but have SR no RMP[protected]
so plz send person imm.
