[Resolved]  Airtel — Prepaid Recharge through Internet Banking

This is to complaint regarding Prepaid recharge facility availed through Internet Banking. I have been using my Internet Banking facility provided by ICICI Bank for recharging my prepaid mobile connection with AIRTEL India in the past. In the last two transactions that were carried out on 06 and 25 Feb 2009 for a recharge of Rs. 1000.00, each I was given a talktime of only Rs 888.00 on each occasion against the full talktime that I have been previously receiving. The customer care dept is totally clueless about it and I was told that they would get back to me. This however has not happened. Calling up customer care only results in the customer being directed from one operator to another with waiting period sometimes being as long as 10 minutes. will someone pls address this problem. Airtel Prepaid — Recharge through online banking

i am fedup with your service regording your billing part i have baught your 1 Re. STD plan and it was working fine till last night but in my last STD call to UP east for 9 minutes and 24 Rs. deducted from my balence and it had been happened lot many times earliar with me. i tried to call to the customer care but i did not get any help from there, your customer care services is as worst as your services. Now i want to switch to vodafone becoze my other room mets are using that one and they are satisfy with the services in terms of network, billing and customer care. Thats why i am sending you my complain throws this path
I had done the recharge from ICICI bank on 16th april 2008 for 599 Rs. Prepaid mobile.
From my account the amount had been deducted but no message had been came from airtel regarding recharge.

It happens with me as well, even i could not get any talk time so raised a SR regarding the same, and after 6 days the failure request and money debited has again credited in acc.
I re charged on line through ICICI BANK net Banking Rs/ 220/- on the date of 03rd apr 2010 for phone no [protected],
But after few minits i got smsin my phone that transation request failed due to transation failed as under your recharge plan this top up is not allowed Oxi trans ID[protected] .
Know i requested to you kindly tell how i will get my mony 220/-Rs
back
It might have really happened.I was thinking to recharge my prepaid connection online but after going through above complaints I think It is very risky to recharge Airtel prepaid connection online.
