[Resolved]  Airtel — Complaint for sending wrong bill by the Airtel with ISD calls

I am using the Airtel Post Paid No [protected] . onwards from December 2005. This was activated on December 2005.

I regular paid the bill as per the Bill received by me from Airtel . My bill always comes under the Rs. 500. And as per the Airtel My credit Limit is fixed as Rs . 1500/- . and my bill was never crossed the credit limit as I always use the bill below Rs. 500/- .

I used this Airtel Post paid no. regularly from December 2005 and regular check the amount of bill during my bill period.

On 16th day of January , when I was checking the Bill amount from customer care Executive( the “CCE” ) . It was shocked to me that the Bill amount stated by the CCE was very much high for me. After the enquired from the CCE , I came to know that the bill amount was very high due to the ICD calls .

But the fact is that, I never activate the ISD call Facility on my Post Paid connections. And, my credit limit was fixed by the Airtel was Rs.1500 /- but as per the CCE of the Airtel bill[protected] amount was shown as around RS 3500.

It was shown to me false itself as per the fixation of Credit limit ., whenever the bill cross the Credit limit the Message and call from the CCE started to make the interim payment and I have not received any single call from the CCE o f Airtel .

It was again shocking for me to received the Bill no. dated 22/1/2208 sent by airtel amount of Rs /- . Which shows the credit limit of Rs 1500/- as per the Billl . .

But still the bill amount sent by the Airtel shows Rs . /- . And the CCE of Airtel regularly calling me and forcing me to make the payment of wrong bill , which is not mine.

I am lecturer by the Profession. As per the record of my statement , my bill amount never crossed the Credit Limit . I never activated the ISD facility on my post paid connection . I never made any ISD call from my Number .

So, sent me the correct bill which help me the make the payment .

Revert me as earliest possible. Kindly do the needful for me and solve my grievance against the Airtel.

Airtel Mobile — wrong Bills recieved

I am recieving wrong bills sience Nov. 08.
Bill No.[protected] and[protected] are not correct.
My airtel post paid mobile No. is [protected] and relationship No. is[protected].
Now I want to deactivate permanantly my airtel post paid subscription for this Mobile No. [protected].

Airtel Mobile — regular wrong billing

I m getting regular wrong bill from last 4 month.
every time after calling solve the complaint but why wrong bill is generating continiously?.
refrence no.[protected] wrong information given by excutive.what action taken against him ?

Airtel — Wrong ISD call bill

I am Jitendra Jain, my previous mob no. was [protected]. My mob. bill was around 9500 for bill period 26/09/2008 to 25/10/2008. It was showing ISD calls of 7920. I had not done these calls even I had not asked Airtel to activate ISD call facility. Airtel itself activated ISD call facility on my mob and I had no information about that. I had complained to Airtel person but no action was taken.

In December one person, named Nitin from Airtel offered me to pay Rs. 4000 to settle down the matter and when I rejected this, he told me that I (me) could not do any thing as I had no proof and threatened me to fine more. So I pay 4000, and on receipt they written Full and final and a/c closed.

But after that in every 15-20 days they often forced me to pay the rest of the amount, when I told them about the settlement they said that it is not valid.

From last 6-7 months they have forced me several time to pay and it is quite disturbing for me as they always phoned to me when I was in meeting or in my company busy in work.

I have the receipt and I want that Airtel should pay back the money as they have taken it force fully and using a trap saying that they will settle down the matter.

Please do the need ful.

There unwillingness to address complains for wrong bills is well known. Now they send bills wiht high amounts to ensure that you get into a dispute with them and that you do not have a clear bill. As such your protability is blocked. So you either stick to them or you opt for a new number with another service provider.

Pathetic and corrupt practices are some doft adjectives for this service provider.

airtel / Cellphone — Wrong Bill

I Bought a number from airtel with advance rental for two years, after 1 year o[censored]sing the phone i decided to change number. After some time i started getting calls from airtel on the registered number asking for reasons of not using the number & i always told them that i will not be using the number in question. Then they asked us if they can give the number to someone else & we told them to go ahead. I even sent them a mail on their official mailing address to discontinue the services. After one year they renewed the contract without our knowledge and now a lawyer has sent us a letter on behalf of airtel asking us to pay or we have to appear in court.
