[Resolved] Airtel — SIM Activation | |
Dear Sir, I have purchased a mobile from Subhikha which is having free airtel connection along with it. This was on 11.05.2008. The mobile number given was [protected]. I was been told that within a day the connection will get activated. Now its almost 2 days still the connection is not been activated. Within these 2 days i have called many times to airtel customer care 121 and each time a get a different reply. One says that the documents are not submitted other says we are working on it and other says that there is a problem with airtel system Was this information helpful? | |

I have recently ported my vodafone no to airtel. before it got activated I lost the sim. I approached nearby airtel office submitted proper proofs and took another sim from them. They promised me it would get activated in 3 days. it dint activated for long time. when I asked regarding the issue they were irresponsibly saying I will never get that number activated.
The reason to port the number is not loss that Number, its very important. whats the purpose of it when they cannot handle such situation. why the hell are they hesitating to activate my number or port it back to vodafone atleast even after submitting sufficient proofs

Hi sir, My num is [protected], it was postpaid till nw sir, due to pending bill amount, 2 months back the service had gon deactivated sir, today only i paid the amount and hav processed for the activation process sir, bt i requested the agent of airtel to activate my number and change it to postpaid, , , so, how much duration i should wait for the activation to be done...??????

hai sir, i bought a sim in 4 days ago, now that time the sim is not activated, i call the shopkeeper he was told your sim is activated but the sim is not activate.

I purchased 2 sims at the airport when I arrived in Delhi on October 20 at 8pm.
One was for my phone and adter calling 59059 it was activated and works.
The other sim was a data only sim for my iPad and it is not activated even though i have treid.
I went to an airtel store at Mega Mall and they said it was not registered on their network abd they could not activate it.
What can i do to activate it?
