I have taken a 1 Year subscription from Airtel Digital TV.
1st of all I was not happy because God TV was taken off my channel list without intimation & wanted to cancel however I was told that the channel might come in again.

Now I return from work at night & the channels show blank.
Channels in entertainment like Colors, Star One are blank.
Also movie channels show blank.
I tried closing the set up box & reconnecting it again however it was of no use.
1st I thought that it is because of weather conditions however yesterday & today it didn't even rain here yet the problem prevails.

Kindly check as its annoying.

Also I want to stop receiving text message on my phone for the TV services.

iam suffering from a severe error in my service from last 6months

1. NOP service is not activating or deactivating through SMS by sending NOPACT to 222 ,
NOPDEACT to 222 since last 6 months.

2. I had subscribed the hellotunes service for a annual , then also there is not proper service
is provided to me ( the error is , in this service 60% of the callers hearing tring tring sound
while doing a call , only 40% of the callers are hearing the song )

( Iam complaining from last 2 months they are saying it is temporary problem but it is a
permanent error)

3. My call is barred to call customer service ( 121 or [protected] ) for a 1and half months.

i had complained several times about these problems in my service , ( but their reply is ,
it will activated with in 24 hrs )
please send the message of how to surf the web in mobile & how to connect to internet with nopact, please send setings

Following are the sequence of things happened to me,



I took individual group connections of 7no, [protected], 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8) in the month of Dec2007. I was offered hell lot of services during booking, but by the time they were activated many changes were made including rate plan also. I was told plan will be changed after 1month, I agreed.

But one thing I clearly mentioned about credit limit is it should be as low as possible, it was made 800.



1. When the credit limit is 800, why the outgoing was not barred even it crossed double the limit.

2. If there is no such system, why few no’s are being barred exactly afer crossing 800 limit.



Note: I clearly mentioned about the credit limit which I was promised during rate plan confirmation call from coustmer care. Personally I made many calls to CC and walked in to splendid tower center reg the credit limit before getting 1st bill itself(plz check the complaints registered). Nobody has bothered to correct it.

I got bills more than what intended to be, As there was no clarification on the exceed bills, I refused to pay them. Later on they were disconnected. In spite of that I have not left any dues on two no’s ([protected], 3) as they are very important for me, to my shock they were also barred after 6months.

Recently I was approached by another executive Mr.Raju, Incidentally he took me in conference call with airtel admin persons and assured me they will activate the two no’s (541, 543) if I make a final payment of 4500.00(I was told that excess bills were waived off).

Note: Find attachment of voice recordings of the executives, a written and signed paper assuring me the activation of no’s. and closing of remaining no’s.

3. Two no’s were activated for only 3 days and deactivated them again. Now Iam being asked to make the balance payment, without resolving the issues.



I have been literally cheated at all stages.



Iam going to present the same letter to news paper seeking justice, If iam not provided a solution in 24hrs.

But now without any information, before 6 months you have deactivated my plan it is not right check my bill . 100 rs are extra but i can't give pl do the right things it is not suitable for a big company. your emplyes are also not working they said us bad words. i want to cut my number.

In the last seven years o[censored]sing the mobile phone, this is the first time I have been using Airtel for the past 1 year and 4 months. The experience is pathetic to say the least, reasons are listed below:

1. Non – Availability of connectivity – I reside at L & T South City, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore - Reason I believe is that there is a intercom facility provided by Airtel in the society, therefore in order to promote the facility, there might be jammers. Do not know the real reason.
2. Activation of services – Have been requesting the call centre for activation of Airtel live & GPRS, First the call centre guys are not aware as to how the facility works on the cell phone, secondly there are note willing to activate the requested service, till the time a person calls atleast four times.
3. Disconnection of Calls – Calls are disconnected within a minute and one has to dial again, I am sure this will be blamed on my cell phone, which is a brand new Nokia E-71 & have also tried the same on HTC – TYTNII.
4. Non-Availability Network while roaming within Karnataka – Airtel is not available if one travels within Karnataka, and also the other networks available like, Vodaphone cannot be accessed as it gives an error “NO ACCESS”.I basic fundamental rule of being accessible at any place any time is not delivered by AIRTEL.
I am complaining because I am sick of services and wanted to share the frustration and I do not have expectations from the company to resolve the issues.
I really do not know why I am paying for the mobile charges?
Please let me know if there is a possibility of shifting to Vodaphone with the same number and if it not available at present the likely date of getting the same.

airetel mobile service — non availability of roaming services

the complaint on the subject was lodged on 23rd of oct for non availability of roaming services on mobile no [protected] of nasik, maharashtra. The samehas not been resolved till date.

It is therefore requested that in case you are not able to extend the roaming services on above telephone for whatever the reason, you are requested to cancel the subscriberand refund the prepaid amount outstanding against me at the earliest.

My effort to contact the customer care executive at [protected] proved to be futile as they expressed their inability resolve the problem
accord high priority to cancel the subscriber on the grounds of poor services extended by AIRTEL services.

My name is Girish Surti i had given a request on 13 April 2009 for the conversion of my cell number from Post Paid to Pre paid but still things are in dark no one from Airtel is able answer the satus for the same. Nodal officers are also the same they dont have any updated information, on top of that Nodal Officer is replying me that some one has given a call on my landline number and confirmed with me that i DONT want to convert my number from Post to Pre paid on 14 April 2009.

Things are going haywire Airtel wants me to pay the bill amount from the bill date to till the time number is converted. As i have got the request on 13 April 2009 and i will not pay beyond that date.

i was activated the tax wap services on my mobile but they will not any responde means the charge will deducted in my account of airtel but not active this service.after i deactiveted through the customer care services they will deactivated them but still my charge is deducted from my account daily

I am a post paid customer of Airtel for last 3 years and my experience of their customer service given to me and my friends has forced me to write a few words of appreciations for the communication provider. ie. Airtel customer service is PACK of ! They can cease your SIM registration any time. On realizing and calling them by the mid of the night you are suggested to visit their outlet and get the SIM changed.No empathy shown by the people on the other end. You can also get the answer like "no supervisor or manager on the floor" Wonder how do they run the call center without a supervisor or manager.
At times you also come across situations where you would be surprised and left in anger to know that your call has been disconnected by the other end.
God bless Airtel!!! They boost of the best customer service.

Please deactivate my MFun subscription from my mobile no. [protected]. I'm no longer using it but inspite of that they just cut it. Everyday they charge me with Rs 5 or 10. So please do something.

these companies never try to resolve your issue at once and when you post something in public like here, there eyes opens.
This is to inform you that MY AIRTEL DTH was not working. THEY HAVE CHAGED the instrument, but not activated. I have been trying to call in the customer service but no use. I have called them 4 times but no one seems to understand adn able to solve the issue.they were telling us that they will be arranging a call back but that also did not happen.The agony was when we called their servoce engineer he was so rude and was using abusing language.

the most saddest part is that I am getting an SMS satating that the compalint I have registered is sloved.

Request you to please adress this issue so that let not other comsumer face the problem.

I have lost RS 1000 with AIRTEL and another RS.6400 for taking another connection from another service provider.
