[Resolved]  Airtel / Customer Care — Don't trust Airtel!

This is bhanu chander s/o J. Raju, i have took the simwith one year incomming payable amount is 398 Ruppes.


my mobile no. is [protected]

my out going calls was barred since from 9 days, i consult the person who has given me the sim, but their is no response & correct answer with him.

Because of my brother suggestion i selected the airtel sim but at the initial period only i am facing problem, i hope my problem will be rectified

i am with your services since 7 years. but now you are causing very inconveinence for me. though i am paying bills regularly why did you disconnect my connection yesterday? reconnect it immediately.

my complain is about speed . i have taken a broad band connection of plan 499at 64 kbsec but it is much slower than 35 kbsec . i tried to complain to customer care many times but the call didint reach to it .a customer care call reach to me only when i have to pay the bill .after that nothing matter to airtel company .when i had complain about it the officer talking to me say that he will wrote a complain but it doesnt even matter to them .

With respect to my previous letter I have not received any answer from your end. I am the well old customer of 8 years. Because of your sales executives force only I have switched over to post paid. Because of the harassment given and unethical calls for bill payment and the letter mentioned of 149 starter plan 600 minutes airtel to airtel free I have used more than 300 minutes. Now your office manager at Mysore is arguing that you have not received the letter at all and we are not responsible for the letter sent to you from Bangalore office. They have charged clip charge of Rs.50 just for 5 days usage and using volgure languages which is not tolerable and I have given a letter on 6th March 2008 to stop post paid connection personally to your office which was not taken by your office manager Mr. Sharath and Ms. Sowmya at Mysore and it has been informed people’s who telephoned to me from your office for payment. Now on 30th March 2008 without my knowledge one of your office people has paid Rs.500 and reactivated the deactivated connection on 28th March 2008 for which I am not held responsible and today 9th April 2008 at 6.00 PM from Ph No.[protected] one of your office people from customer care requested me to pay the full amount we will give you Rs.250 discount which the promise given is illegal. Kindly take the necessary action because I have stopped making calls from 4th March 2008 and for the same if bill comes I am not held responsible. This is for your kind information.

Airtel — Trying to deduct money from account wantedly

I subscribed for Airtel "music on demand".The next month a message came saying that the would reduce Rs.30 from my account for the monthly subsciption. They also sent a no. for deactivating the service. But when I dialled the no., they asked to recharge for Rs.30, 20&10 and never said about deactivating the service.
I want my all Airtel bill mob.([protected]) which have you generete on my resi. address and my Email id also as soon as possible.
Please don't Trust Air tel...
These People, for making money, forcefully activate the dialer tones on ur sim(just for namesake)...
They don't actually activate it...
They did the same to me..
i just took the card a week back..My balance has gone in negative...
Plz Stay Away From Air tel...

Hello All,

This is really getting annoying that every month I receive my Airtel bill I have to call your customer care for the extra charges for Sec Edu Tax/Edu cess on service tax and these kind of miscellaneous taxes, that are to be waived from my Bill. Every time your employee confirms me that these charges would be waived and deducted next month onwards, but its an ongoing process and I still receive all these taxes applicable on my bill.
This was made very clear to me while I took your connection that apart from service tax I shall not have to pay any other taxes or hidden charges that you may apply while you bill me.
Every month these charges are added to my bill which is getting accumulated now. To make it very clear, I would not pay these charges as I was confirmed by Airtel employees that these would be waived.
If you are not ready to resolve this issue, please let me know and I shall stop using Airtel service going forward.


I look forward to have a quick solution to this ongoing problem.

Dear Sir,

I have requested your office vide my request no 16003269 dated 21/03/08 for the disconnection of my no [protected] due to my transfer in anothe state. I am sorry to say till today my no is not disconnected and a bill of amount Rs 842.50 send to my old address, even I have paid full amount at the time of submitting my application. I thing this is type of harrsement. pl. advcie what I ahve to do for disconnection of my number.

i want to deactivate my airtel live and internet services on my mobile ( [protected] )
Refer my mobile number [protected]. helow tune subscription is being renewed. I requested through SMS (to 57886) on 21.04.08 not to renew. However, on 22.04.08 i received a sms from 6781 that my subscription has been again renewed. I again request you to stop such deduction in future.

Most of my customer care interactions with Airtel has gone well, untill today.

I had activated 'mobile office' on my post paid account and i wanted to cancel it. I called the Airtel cc and a representative intriduced himself as Madu, was attending to me.

When i asked for the code and the number to which i have to send the code, he asked for my mobile number. Eventhough i was calling from the same number, i gave him the number.
Then he asked for the billing address, which i refused, since i cannot find any reason for him to ask it.

I asked why he required my billing address, he was telling me that it is for my security. My foot. It is no way connected since i was just asking for the code and the number that is freely available.

Then i asked him if he was Madhu itself. He gave me a arrogant reply mentioning that his full name was Madhusudan R. It is better that Airtel does not have people like him in their cc, since it will cost them their goodwill with the customers.
For a minute, i was thinking that if i had the option to switch between the providers retaining the number i would have done so, immediately.
airtel co. and all who works with it, specially its customer care service, they sincerely need training for a basic courtsey about how to interact with its customer, i frequently interact many such custmor care services, but i must confess, that airtel custmoer service is absolutely lousy, amazingly thick skin guys, big shiit, all morone, third class customer service, may be all will face same problem as i am having, bloody airtell is white elephant... sick co. i am thanking myself from detaching this bloody sick organisation...

I am R. K. Ghosh your customer during 8 years. My mb. No. [protected] Prepaid. My problem is 2 or 4 Rs. deduct daily from my account without any SMS & any call. I think there have some server problem. Pls. check & short out my problem as soon as possible.
I hope you will short out my problem as early as possible.

I Want to know about recharges.

My No. is [protected], its validity was 14 march. Can I recharge it with life time pack on 7 may?
