[Resolved]  Airtel Digital TV — Complaint against Airtel

We had installed Airtel Digital TV on 30/05/2009. After a week the screen started showing that this card is not valid. By contacting Airtel Call centre they told that Rs.100 is balance from our side. After recharging Rs.100 it was activated. After a week again i.e. 15/06/2009 again the TV screen showed that this ID card is not valid. We again called centre again they informed that we have subscribed for ESPN package and Rs.60 is pending in our account. While we had not sent any SMS for subscription. The fact is that airtel has deactivated free to air channels also. Is airtel collecting Rs.50-100 every week with the customers who had subscribed for free to air channels for one year on some pretext or other?
Why are ads given for fee-to-air channels subscriptions for one year? Can I get justice from airtel? Every time we contact airtel customer service they say "You pay this amount this time and next time it will not happen? Is this the way adopted by airtel to humiliate genuine customers and harrass them by charging them exhorbitantly evey week?

AirTel — Complaint Against Airtel DTH

Dear Sir,
I had made complaint against my Airtel DTH services having the customer Id is [protected] in Airtel DTH Customer Care four or five times for my DTH dish having position in satellite 1 where some of the channels are not visible in this regard I had spoken customer care person where i had been informed satellite 2 is supports and visible for all channels. Where the customer care people assured me that he will help me out and inform me they will provide one service engineer to short out this issue at the earliest, but till date I am not getting the issue short out. Hence you are requested to raise a complaint to concerned authority and short out my issue as soon as possible.
Rovinson from Bayana. I found AIRTEL DTH Service worst ever. After subscriptuon it ur compulsion to bear problem time to time. Airtel has no wide service network of technical experts. U have to pay even for free services.Once u caught in the trep of AIRTEL DTH. Very difficult to get rid off this service. Even senior executive give u fake promises. S ex also can not solve ur problems. This time Airtel changing allignment of its connection. I also agreed for this. One expert approach me on behalf Airtel dth on 8.6.12 ti change allighnment he disorderd the connection and left. After so many complaint my connection is still close due to disorder of allighnment of LNB and band setting. Senior ececutive daily promise me to send servicemen but no one came till today 25.6.12 customer ID No [protected]
I am a registered customer since 2010 & my customer ID is[protected].Recently my set top box started giving problems 7 i rang customer care who said that the problem will be rectified by our engineer the next day. Already 7 days have passed no engineer have turned up leave aside rectifying the problem. This is AIRTEL DIGITAL TV .I am at aloss to know what to do except to change my service provider which will result in monetary loss. My question to AIRTEL peopleis - why do you want to cheat your dedicated customers. iAM NOT ONLY YOUR DIGITAL TV but MOBILE as well Your iNTERNET CUSTOMER.

I had ordered airtel digi tv on[protected] through on line from the telephonic conversation[protected] & [protected] at approx 2.00 pm to 2.18 pm) with Ismail, the Ismail send me a email from the mail id Deepak Soni Deepak.[protected]@vertexgroup.co.in indicaing a link http://web.shelltransource.com:8089/airtel/payment/index.php?bid=107518
and told me that deposit the amount Rs.2690 through internet banking. After that I deposited the amount Rs 2690 on[protected] at 2.15 pm, by insuring from Ismail (Airtel executive) that a connection of HD digi TV will be installed within 24 to 48 hours. After completing the 55 hours, I am very surprising that Airtel customer care did not make a single call or sms to me. Again I make a Call on[protected] at 11.59 am to customer care number[protected], another executive insured me that the new connection will be installed within 78 hours. Again I called on[protected] at 6.54 pm and[protected] at 6.20 pm to customer care each time airtel executive insured me that within 1 hour airtel higher executive officer contacts me. A important thing in whole scenario is that I repeatedly calling but airtel customer care never made a call with me.
During these efforts I got a sms “ Namaste! Thank you for choosing airtel digital tv. Your booking details are customer ID: [protected], Order no:2295301 pack name Ultra HD 1M …”
I know after that complains Airtel post a beautiful quote “This is to inform you that your concern has been noted and our team is working on a resolution. At the outset, we apologize for the inconvenience faced by you. We will get in touch with you for further details of your concern as the need arises.”
Are you thinking that, can airtel customer care compensate my children’s feeling which they hoped with seeing hd picture quality as early as they insured? NEVER.
HERE I AM NOT DEMANDING ANY HELP. THIS IS ONLY FOR BEWARE FROM AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE OR AIRTEL PRESENCE (AIRTEL CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM) BHARTI AIRTEL LTD.

Airtel digitel tv gives only money but not provide service properly .my customerid is :[protected].
I have found that if we call to solve our problems to customer care they say to solve our problems,they only says but not solves problem.

Airtel — tv not show channel after recharge

My airtel dth are not run from today morning without any information. My airtel dth ID no. : [protected].My account has already recharged today.But chanel are not shown in tv.i have chacked all connection properly all are right but tv are not run.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I selected 15 channels from A-La-Carte pack(DD Bangla, Bharti, National, Sports & News -all Zero rupee Plus Sony-15, ColorsHD-15, BBC Entertainment-5, Star WorldHD-15, Zee Classic-12, Movies NowHD-20, Star MoviesHD-20, ESPN-20, NDTV Profit-8, DiscoveryHD-20 & National GeographicHD-20)on 22nd Nov.'12 and therefore, my validity is up to 21st Dec.'12 and I paid Rs. 170/- for these channels plus 12.36% tax, i.e total payment made - Rs. 191/- through net banking.

Now, since for past few days I am being reminded the expiry date as 11th Dec.'12. Please give explanation for preponing the validity date.

I bought Airtel Digital tv HD setup box and the channel broad casting is good. but as the total channels I require are spread in different packages, I opted to go for A LA CARTE system. I have selected the following channels for which the monthly rental works out to Rs.292.00.
Suprisingly when enquired for my cable details, I got the message stating that Plan: FTA Pack, Monthly Rental / Topup Rs. 483. It is Rs 191(Rs.483-292) extra. How is it possible ? please let me Know. Please let me know if “A LA CARTE SYSTEM” is not available on airtel hd cable tv.

Furter, I have recorded some movies on a channel. Now I did not subscribe it. But why I can’t see the recorded movies now?

I have already written the problem on 18th March to [protected]@in.airtel. however I received no reply. Please answer me as soon as possible.

am having 2 airtel digital tv connection. found very poor services. they suddenly change the monthly pack without intimation and permission and deduct the recharge amount accordingly.

i want to disconnect the second connection of the same. since January 13 trying but nothing is done.

their customer executives are liars just talk and make fool.
