[Resolved]  Airtel Digital TV — POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE / RESPONSE

I had been raising a complaint since 25th Oct 2011 with their Customer Care regarding no video issue. There was a customer visit on 27th Oct 2011 and the local engg demanded Rs 300/- to change the adapter for the STB. I refused to pay as there was warranty on the product till Oct 31/2011. Despite several calls and remainders, AIRTEL is still yet to resolve the issue. Though every one promises to get the problem resolved, none of them wants to take and ownership to get the same resolved. Therefore I have issued a legal notice to M/s Bharti Digital Media Services, demanding an explaination for their lethargic and irresponsible behaviour and also compensation cost for the mental agony caused becuase of their inaction on my complaint amounting Rs 25k/-. Also, I am planning to move away from AIRTEL even on my mobile subcription and I shall inform everyone to never buy any of their products as its a organization run by ineffective people who do not care a damn about their customer.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Poor customer service, false info, lethargic service

Hi ,

The first few hours after purchasing the digi-tv connection and doesn't take me too long to realize how big this mistake is. First of all I was given false information that World space Radio is absolutely free of cost which was the prime reason for me to purchase it but it seems to be a day dream. I was not able to speak to any representative when I wanted to activate the same except the first time which was a fluke i guess. I tried 8 times but all in vain.
I do not suggest anyone to go for this. No way.

Airtel DTH — Poor customer service and false charges.

I am Nishant Mitra from Kalkaji New Delhi.I have taken a new Airtel DTH connection on 16 October.
I was earlier promised that the connection will be activated in 2 hours but it was actually activated after 14 hours.The call centre nos. do not connect to the Customer Care Executives easily.You just hear the IVR that 'we are coonnecting you to our customer care Executive.This call may be recorded for internal training purposes' and after that there is one or two rings and even no rings and there is nothing happening though the call is still connected.One has to try for 8-10 times to gat a chance to talk to their customer care executives and even they don't have the complete product knowledge and they will give you false promises.If you choose the english IVR option most of the time there is no response and if you choose the hindi IVR option the person who picks the phone will start talking in broken English.
Now I wanted to subscribe for the Ten sports topup package for which their charge are Rs60/-+taxes for six months subscription.But my account was charged with Rs 97.20/- for the same.When I spoke to their Customer Care Executive on 19 October,09 he told me the price has been changed.I checked their website instantly and told the executive that its still showing Rs60/- + Taxes (10.33%)he said that information is wrong.Then I told him that I had activated this topup by calling on your helpline no. and your executive had confirmed that the cost is Rs 60/- + taxes10.33%.This person told me that the executive who activated my Ten Sports topup was unaware of the changes and gave me wrong information.

Please help me solve this issue because it is not a question of minor difference in charges but a matter of cheating the customer which may be of even bigger volumes in future.Airtel DTHs performance is good.You will find clear quality picture and voice and many features but their very poor customer service and pricing issues needs to improve.

par tab se M TV aur kuchh chanals nahi aa rahe he,
aur mene 17/12, 18/12, 20/12, 22/12, 24/12 ko complain ki he par abhi tak mera problem solve nahi huaa,
aap ka engeneer bhi ek baar aake gya par usse bhi kuchh hua nahi,
]to usne 18/12/2009 ko fir se complain kiya par wo bhi ab tak solve nahi hui,
aap ke educative bhi gol gol ghuma rahe he, suparwiser bhi ulta hi javab dete he, aur aapke flor manegers
mrprakash nagariya, mr mukul, mr gaurav, aur mr hemant, bhi apne aap ko malik samjte he, aur kahete he aap se jo hota he wo kar lijiye,
to thik he me kal 6/01/2010 ko cumsumer foram yani k grahak suraxa me jaunga, aur 1, 00, 000 ka claim rakhunga.
aur mene jitni bhi baar customer care me jin jin exe, superwiser, aur floor maneger se baat ki un sab k phone record mere pass he, jo muje court me kaam aayenge.
mene ab tak 50 baar customer care me call kiya he fir bhi meri compalain solve nahi hui upar se mere regesterd numer se customer care me call bhi bandh kar diya he. muje 20 20 minut call me waiting me rakh k call disconect kar dete he. aur ye takriban 20-25 baar hua he.
aap se problem solve hota he to karo varne me kal case karnevala hu.

Hi,
My name is Shashi Kiran, im using Airtel Digital TV connection([protected]) from the past more than an year, earlier the service was really good, but now the company's quality is slowly declining...

We are getting flash msgs on TV screen regarding 325Rc atleast 3-4times in every 30mins, and this was also been escalated to customer care dept, but there is no improvement etal...

The problem is persisting from the past one week

i would like to inform that but my airtel conection is new if that customer my speak four month free 1750
not my provide for four month airtel recharge only one month end.if that one month recharge do costomer id recharge but not my airtel recharge pay complen is very seriously.your customer care has not been help me.i am doing the recharge 397rupees not my Television start of any channel.
