[Resolved]  Airtel Digital TV Connection — Customer Care A GREAT CHEATER

MY AIRTEL DIGITAL CONNECTION NO IS [protected].
1. INITIALLY THE CONNECTION WAS PURCHASED ONLINE WITH A PROMISE FROM CUSTOMER CARE FOR FREE OF COST TRANFER OF MY DTH TO ANY PART OF INDIA HAVING BEEN PURCHASED ONLINE. BUT THEY CHARGED RS 600 FOR THE SAME FOR SHIFTING IT FROM DWARKA (DELHI) TO INDIRAPURAM (GHAZIABAD).
2. ON 14 JAN 12 MY DTH ACCOUNT WENT IN NEGATIVE BALANCE OF RS 5.70/-. THERE WAS AN OFFER OF RS 15/- EXTRA ON THE RECHARGE OF RS. 310/-. WHILE TALKING TO CUSTOMER CARE ON THE SAME DAY I WAS INFORMED THAT AS THE ACCOUNT IS IN NEGATIVE ZONE THIS EXTRA AMOUNT CAN NOT BE GIVEN AND I WAS ADVISED BY THE SAME CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE THAT FOR GETTING THAT EXTRA TOP UP I NEED TO PUT 310+6=316 IN MY ACCOUNT (RS 6 FOR REMOVAL OF NEGATIVE ASPECT AND 310 FOR THAT OFFER). I QUERIED FROM THE SAME EXECUTIVE THRICE AND CONFIRMED BY HIM THAT I NEEDED TO RECHARGE IT WITH 316/ - COLLECTIVELY.
AFTER RECHARGE I DIDNOT CHECK WITH THE SAME AS I WAS NOT HAVING ANY DOUBT.
ON 08 MAR 12 MY ACCOUNT WAS SUSPENDED AND ON QUERY I FOUND THAT MY ACCOUNT BALANCE WAS LEFT WITH RS 1.07/-. DURING CONVERSATION I CAME TO KNOW FROM THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE THE ON 14 JAN 12 MY ACCOUNT WAS NOT FED WITH THAT EXTRA AMOUNT OF RS 15/- AS SHE WAS SAYING YOU HAD NOT RECAHRGED WITH RS 310 AND THAT OFFER WAS ONLY FOR 310 RECAHRGE. ON MY INFORMING HER THE CONVERSATION WHICH I HAD WITH THEM ON 14 JAN 12 SHE FLATLY REFUSED DOING ANYTHING IN THIS RESPECT.
ON MY FURTHER INSISTENCE MY CALL WAS FORWARDE TO HER SENIOR FOR THE SAME KIND OF REPLY. FURTHER I WAS PROVIDED [protected]. THERE AGAIN ON THAT NUMBER I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD BE CHECKING WITH THE CALL RECORDS AND IF FOUND SAME CERTAINLY THE LEFT OUT AMOUNT WOULD BE GETTING CREDITED IN MY ACCOUNT AND I WAS PROMISHED THAT FEEDBACK REGARDING THIS WOULD BE FURNISHED FROM 24 TO 48 HOURS.
TONIGHT WHILE TALKING TO THEM ON [protected] I WAS AGAIN DENIED. WHEN ASKED TO RAISE A COMPLAIN AGAINST THE SAME AND FURNISH THE COMPAINT NUMBER CALL WAS ABRUPTLY DISCONNECTED. THEY WERE NOT HAVING ANY FEEDBACK FROM [protected].

3. NOW THE CRUCIAL QUESTION IS THIS THAT SHOULD WE BELIEVE THE PROMISES MADE BY CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE ESPECIALLY FROM AIRTEL DIGITAL. BECAUSE THEY WOULD SAY SOMETHING, DO SOMETHING LEAVING YOU HIGH AND DRY.

4. IF THEY ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING WITHING A WEEK CERTAINLY GOING TO CONSUMER COURT IS IN MY MENU.

5. THERE'S A BIG VALLEY BETWEEN THE BIG NAME OF AIRTEL AND THE SERVICES OF CUSTOMER CARE OF THIS HIGH BRAND.

I am Dr.S.Charles, working as a Professor in an Engineering College at Coimbatore. I am a customer with HDFC House, No. 29, Kamaraj Road, Near Circuit House, COIMBATORE 641 018. My account number is[protected].
Well, I am facing quite a lot of difficulties with the poor service rendered by HDFC in the following ways,
1. Whenever a call is made to contact an executive, the reception desk enquires for the detailed history and tries to avoid giving the line to the executive concerned. For this she uses statements like, “He has gone for lunch, tea or not available”
2. Not even a single time I was given the line to discuss with the executive concerned. Many times they say they would transfer the line and the connection gets cut off. Why is this inhuman activity?
3. For every Cheque disbursement, they would promise a date and I will go there, after applying leave; but they will allot me another date for issue of the same. Is it fair?
4. They will announce a date for inspecting the progress of the Site and we will be waiting; they would not turn back. Lot of false promises.
5. They do not understand the value of time and make people roam about.
6. From the day 1, I am facing hell a lot of stress from the poor response of HDFC
I think I had done mistake banking with HDFC.
I am sure if this continues, HDFC will be earning a bad image in the society and deteriorate slowly.
Globalization has brought India to greater heights and today every citizen is aware of all the improvements/developments. There is a heavy competition in almost all the fields. Only sectors that offer a good customer service will sustain. Others will perish.

Airtel Digital TV Connection — poor service

i have airtel digital Tv connection...very poor customer care ...every time different executive comes and tell different thing ...case is relocation of place...so never purchase airtel dth...i[censored] r relocating they will not only harrase u but take u in a hell

Airtel Digital TV Connection — Installation is not done even on 7th day of booking the connection and they promised the installation will be done within 48 hours

I applied for a Airtel Digital TV connection against thier scheme of 999 for the airtel users.I called the customer care 12150 on 18th September and paid the amount through IVR as instructed by the customer care executive. The executive said the instalation will be done within 24-48 hours. He said it will be done by Monday 20th September.

I waited till Monday evening and then called the customer care 12150 to check the status of my connection. They said my customer id is not generated and we will taking the complaint and you will be getting a callback from our backend department in 1 hour.

The same story is repeating again and again everyday. No callbacks from airtel. I called them 20 times for his issue. everytime they take a complaint and no action.I also spoke to 2 of thier supervisor regarding the same and they promised the installation will be done in 24 hours.

I don't understand why they commit something which they can't fulfill. Airtel people if you are looking at this post then please wake up and do something, if you want to keep your image clean.

Airtel digital TV connection — Extremely Slow and Waste Service

Hi Team,

I have a Airtel Digital TV connect since last 1 and 1/2 years, and have a lot of problems with there service.
When i shifted to a new house, it took them about 11 days to get the connection reinstalled. Inspite of paying about 300 rs to the Airtel Department and 200 to the installation technician for the cable, the Airtel Digital connection is not clear.
I would request the public to stop using airtel digital TV, becuase there Helpdesk is waste and there technician are worst
