[Resolved]  Airtel — FRAUD IN AIRTEL

My Customer ID is [protected]. My starting pkg was of Rs. 250, which was going to end on 15th May. I have started contacting Airtel Customer Rep and Supervisors for Ala Carte package. First of all, I will get all the details on website so I have decided to create an online account. I was not able to create an account, so I have written so many email and finally they have provided me a temp username/password to create the account. Then I was trying to activate Ala Carte pkg. I have selected the channels and fill out the details, but that information not coming to my email. Then on 15th my account got suspended. One of your supervisor on 15th Morning suggested me to recharge the Amount of Ala Carte pkg, it was just Rs. 219/- so I have recharged my account for Rs. 220. And my Rs. 250 current pkg has been extended for less validity. Ala Carte is not activated. I understand that Airtel do not have money and that's why not helping customers for activating Ala Carte, so customers are forced to take your pkg. Really disgusting.

In my experience, I have never seen a fraud company like Airtel. Even without a subscribing to any of the services like jokes, hello tunes, they loot the money from unsuspecting customers. You recharge for Rs. 100 and after a few days even without using the service, your Rs. 50 would have disappeared. When we call the customer service, you never get any satisfactory reply. they play all sorts of gimmicks like "We are extremely sorry" type of apologies, but you never get an answer for the money looted from your pocket. In my view, Airtel is the most fraudulent company in the mobile business in India. Their motto is "Loot the customer when they are sleeping. And even if 5% of them wake up, then give them "We are extremely sorry" kind of dossiers.

We need a mass campaign to stop these Unethical Practices. If not today, the thief will be caught tomorrow.
I had recently purchesed an airtel SIM in my name, I provided all the address correctly. within a week of purchease, the airtel has called my mobile for confirmation of the address and other details, as I was not aware of this new policy of Airtel (which was not mentioned in the application form when I purchased the SIM), the phone was attended by my mother when Airtel called me, as I met with an accident and was taking bedrest, I asked my mother to attend all calls and give only the important call to me. The airtel customer care has spoken in english and not in the local language, my mother thought it is just a promotional call and disconnected the call after speaking to them.
But 2 days later my SIM was debarred saying that the concerned person is not using the phone. they wanted only me to attend when they call, not anyone else to pick the phone (How ridiculous is their policy). they have not even refunded my money. They have harrassed me mentally, I want to Sue Airtel for idiotic policy.

AIRTEL- ENCOURAGING -THEFT MISUSE AND FRAUD.

MY AIRTEL PHONE HAS BEEN DEAD FOR OVER A WEEK[protected].
This is wrt to my airtel landline i have reported my complaint multiple time since a week and everytime I get a new complaint number and a sms on my mobile stating that my phone line has been restored. In fact once even a lines man called and said my phone is fine but it is still DEAD in my house with neither the phone line or internet working- SEEMS LIKE AIRTEL HAS MADE A JOKE OF THIS WHOLE THING. IF I CANNOT GET A PHONE REPAIRED FOR A WEEK AND SOMEONE IS MISUSING IT AS I HAVE REPORTED THEN NEITHER DO I WANT THIS CONNECTION NOR DO I WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH AIRTEL WHO SEEM TO BE ENCORAGING FRAUD AND THEFT. My LAST two complaint numbers ARE 36322674 AND[protected] THE EARLIER ONES I DONT REMEMBER. AS REPORTED THERE IS THEFT – FRAUD- MISUSE ON THIS LINE BY SOME AIRTEL PERSONELL AND LINESMAN OR SOMEONE OUTSIDE AND PLEASE DISCONNECT MY LINE AND TERMINATE MY ACCOUNT RETURN MY BALANCE AS YOU ARE INCAPABLE OF REPAIRING IT OR TAKING ANY ACTION. I WILL GET A RELAINCE OR TATA INDICOM WHICH IS MORE RELIABLE AND WHO CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER UNLIKE AIRTEL WHO THINK CUSTOMERS ARE FOOLS AND ONLY INTERSTED IN MAKING MONEY WITH ZERO OR NEGATIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Airtel — Fraud attempt , getting more money

Dear sir/madam

I took 2 connection on january 27, with 1000 Rs deposit, with in 4 days they disconnected one sim, I asked customer care , they denied to activate , but one sim was activated , i could not under stand y they have done like this , finally i got 2000Rs bill , i did not pay the amount for ([protected])long time , one day a Rep from Airtel called me from [protected] and scold me , I also scolded him . Now thay are asking amount additionally 500 Rs for legel charge. My deposit was gone. They are asking money only , They dont respect what i am saying . I feel airtel is a fraud mobile network , Dont believe this network, Also i have one more connection [protected], I paid 500 deposit , Initially they told me that after 3 months your deposit Amt will be refuned in your bill , I have been to Airtel showroom , written request letter as per their suggestion, They did not refund my amount , I have lose 2000 Rs sofar by airtel ,
ABSOLUTELY NOT !! RAKESH, IT HAS STILL NOT BEEN RESOLVED. I AM STILL BEING CHARGED RS 1.50 PER NATIONAL SMS.

I AM SUPPOSED TO ENJOY ALL SERVICES FOR 50PS UNTIL FEB 12, 2012. I HAVE A SPECIAL TARIFF FOR 1 YEAR, AS I MENTIONED ABOVE !!

BUT I DONT THINK YOU OR THE CALL CENTER UNDERSTAND THIS.

AirTel — FRAUD BY AIRTEL

FRAUD BY AIRTEL
have taken a AIRTEL special tariff plan valid for a year on Feb 10, 2011 for number [protected] of Rs 50 new connection. The plan entitles me to 50ps/min for all national and local calls and 50ps/SMS for all national and local SMS till Feb 10, 2012. Its even showing as special tariff when I query *111# on my mobile.

But since PAST 3 WEEKS suddenly I am being charged Rs 1.5/SMS for national and Rs 1 per local SMS with change of plan happening without my cognizance.

Customer Service is so poor, they flatly denied existence of any such plan on a new connection. I tried my best convincing them, but to no avail with such unresponsive and stubborn call center executives.

I gave TWICE complaint on this site but NO RESOLUTION AND NOBODY CALLED ME FROM AIRTLE !!

Airtel is huge in India but the service is poor just because they have outsourced certain units to sub dealers who dont even bother quality. I am an internet user and my life bread and butter depends on what i do online, when i registered for a broadband connection from airtel i had people come to my place the same day to my surprise within hours to collect details. I gave them all the details and also INR 1100 for installation, which was promised within 24 hours, but i had to call after 3 days to check if i will get internet. Airtel customer service had no idea of what i was calling for, fine i called the guy who had come to collect my details, some women picks up and speaks in kannada and says he is not there. My second attempt i called a reference number i was given and that gentleman said he will go to office and check, in case the order is processed it will take three days for refund or its the same day. I did not receive any call. I waited for 3 more days and called the agent who came to collect my details again, he answered stating that he was out of town and just came back and will go to the office and check on my refund of Rs1100. Its been more than three weeks in fact almost a month that there has been no response. Dealers are supposedly at millers road in-spite of calling and asking for address they have not given me the right one. Their names are Ravindra and Mr Reddy who came to collect my documents, I just want to know are such fraudulent activities done by airtel for more money because i have airtel registration form with details and numbers please contact me on [protected] for more details
