[Resolved]  Airtel — HUGE BILL BEYOND THE CREDIT LIMIT - NO INTIMATION OR ALERT REACH THE LIMIT

Complaint on Huge Bill Amount of airtel Postpaid Connection,

As I was using the Airtel Postpaid connection since last 3 years, My number was [protected], and all was working well, no due, no complaint, In last 3 years my bill amount was always below Rs 1000/-however in December 2012, they have raised my bill amount to 35000/-, without any intimation to me that your bill has been exceeded at your credit limit, as my phone bill credit limit was 2500/-, as I had activated 2G plan of 4 GB download in 249/- p.m. after that they sent me only one message that i have till now, that your mobile bill amount has been 48000/- and please pay at the earliest, .
so here my concern is if my phone credit limit was set to 2500/- then how did they allowed to increase the amount to 48000/-, and why didn't they informed or message to me that your credit limit has been exceeded,
then why i got the message that your bill has been reached at 48000/- then i called to customer care and asked me why my bill has been increased so much, & why didn't u not inform me, then they didn't reply on it, and next day in the night suddenly they stopped my outgoing call, without any intimation to me, then again i called to customer care, so they was telling that you have to pay your outstanding bill,
I requested and called to customer care so many times to start my outgoing but they didn't start the outgoing, , then after couple of days they disconnect/block the Sim.one more thing which I had checked in my bill details, that if i activated 2G internet Plan then how come they charged the amount at the 3G, which is showing in the BIll.
Hence I request to you to sort out this issue.

I have all the proofs and messages for activation of plans services etc.

This amount is very very big and unimaginable it is very shocking and if something happen to my mental or physical condition Airtel will be responsible for that.

Airtel — About my cerdit limit

i have asked u many times to reduce my cerdit limit. but u people are not responding properly. could u pleasse reduce my credit limit to RS.500. i hope the posive reply from ur side. And i have seen twice that my mobile charges are faulty. So please look at it once. By the way my mobile number is [protected].

AirTel — increase in bill amount without using its services

i got a sms from airtel that i m running high usages in tune of rs 20000 in just 15 days as bill cycle starts at 5th.i m very much worried and surprised as i have not used so much.usually i get monthly bill appx.1000 to 1500. i do not understand how this is happning.seems someone has hacked it or airtel is adding other bill to me.
usages as on 17.2.2009 4.30pm rs.19748.60
usages as on 18.2.2009 9.30am rs.19996.70
usages as on 18.2.2009 8.30pm rs.20024.20 .
this is to inform u that i have stopped making calls since 17.2.2009 4.30pm.barred voice mail and airtel live, gprs . still amount is increasing it self

This is to bring to your notice that, I have received a bill for the period of 26/July/09 to 25th Aug/09 vide bill no.[protected]. The total bill abount is Rs.771/-.

To my surprise, there 7 calls made from my number which is not made by us. The numbers are [protected] & [protected], [protected] dated 27/07/09 to location BANDA (U.P). The calls are made during afternoon time where no family members are there at home. Between 9.30 to 5.30 pm, the flat is always closed. The matter has been reported to vide complaint no:23980618 dtd 5th Sept. After two days, I received a call saying the calls are being made from my telephone.

Please note that these calls are being made by someone, without using my phone. This has to be thoroughly investigated and replied soon. The amount overcharged should be waived off in the forthcoming bill.

My name is Devendra Punwatkar I lived in Nagpur (M.S). Hear by Inform you that I complaint twicely
deactived downloaded services.From you coming calles two times to deactivate on yours cell downloaded services but should not deactived services.and finally i go to Airtel webworld and dial 999 and deactivted services.As per discussion with Mr.Kamal he said to me unnecessary deduct amount credited in your account.But till date could not Credit amount in my account.

So kindly request you early as possible credit deduct amount.

I bought airtel connection which i paid 4000 Rs. for the device and 600Rs. for connection,

it took a week time to start the connection, atlast i got, coz i had already paid the money, i hardly use the device coz, very very slow they dont provide the speed what they say, i did being to the Airtel Galleria. i had waist my time and money for the device.

But i disconnected the postpaid connection and requested it for prepaid, where i had the Balance which Airtel has to pay around 600 Rs. which i had balance in my account, But still the services was useless, i return the simcard, they promise me to return the money after 45days,

AND now there are sending me a cheque of Rs:243 Rs.

I think they should stop fooling customers around, Its better for them to Beg in the Public rather then fooling around.

I thought its been the fastest connection, i spend 4800 Rs. and this is what the customer is getting back in returns

Airtel Postpaid — huge bill

Hi,sir i was with airtel from last 4 months . I was given a plain of 175 rs rental but when a bill came it was 250 rental i talked to them wait for a long queue on phone they told me, pay the bill next bill would be 175 .On the next month result was the same i paid 250 restal for 4 months regularly they didnt do any thing i always call them and request for the same thing..on the 4 rth month i stooped using that and asked them i will only pay the bill when they will reduse my rental but they didnt..my no was [protected]....i was so mentally harrased seeing my bill regularly increasing..
Now they are calling and they are shouting and abusing me on phone ..i am very depressed by this it s5eems that there is no law in india who can help..the no from which they are abusing me is

Airtel — WITHOUT USING THE NUMBER GET BILLED FOR 2500

Hi,
Am a Software Professional took Airtel Postpaid connection through my company. During initial days i felt am getting moderate bill when days goes on they started billing me[protected]. Finally when i surrender my number they billed me 2500 though i did not use that number for that month, When i dialled them and shouted they reduced my bill to 1000 and they said they give the settlement letter

I paid 1000 before 2 months till date i did not get my settlement letter instead i started getting call from Airtel asking for rest of the payment

I shouted them and said i am ready to meet them in consumer court

my mobile no.is [protected] n i did recharged for 200/- on 01/04/11 but i didnt get the amount n i lodged a compalint on 5th n i did spoke with a supervisor anitha she asked me to get it recharged for 27/- which i did n she promised to get back my balance amount by 7th which didnt happened n i called back on 7th n 8th n they said they are going to mail across n by 2 days it will get sorted but as usual nothing happened n i called today that is 11/04 today they are saying the sims life got expired so how come the recharge gone thru when the life of the sim card got expired,these people are just cheating the public not more than that n from today onwards i will try to make as many as friends n family members to move out from airtel to other network becoz these people are cheating n upon that the customer service people ahhhh cant say more waste of time.

Airtel — Huge bill amount - exceeding the set credit limit

Hi,

I own(ed) a mobile post paid connection +[protected]. I had set the credit limit for that number as Rs. 3000 which is for unbilled usage. However, my outstanding amount for the month of June 2011 was Rs. 4855.12, which is an absolute shock.

When I expressed this concern so many times to so many people in Customer care, complaints and Nodal desk I hear different things. Some say, it is a valid concern and they'll route it to appropriate department. Some say, they give Rs. 500 discount on my June month bill and 15% discount on my next six months bill. Some said, it's due to 3G usage in three days which is close to 240MB. Some others, said 3G usage for three days is 91MB. I am getting frustarted with all this. Finally, I am also told that the charges are valid. Because of all this, I've not made my outstanding bill payments and my number was made inactive.

I can not accept if my outstanding amount for any month exceeds my set credit limit, which is for unbilled usage. It is the right of the customer to decide how much he can afford to pay for mobile per month and thats why I'd set my credit limit to Rs.3000.

Please look into this at the earliest.

airtel /postpaid — no follow up of the complaint of dec 2011,even after 7 reminders

in month of dec 2011 raised request for signal problem at my home,after that 7 reminder put by me at costumer care.but till date problem is there.

Thanks for your prompt response, but the thing is that today I received legal notice from Airtel, so Please advise what should I do in that case.

As the Amount is very high and I am not in that condition to pay this unnecessary billed amount which was raised without any intimation to me. If the amount was increasing above the credit limit (2500) then it should have been informed to me,

So Please Suggest me the appropriate solution to avoid this and regarding that notice which is sent to me.

1. My Credit Limit was set to 2500/- pm, then how come the amount increase beyond this Limit.
2, I have activated 2G Plan with 4 GB download 249/- pm, then how come its converted to 3g which is showing in my bill,
3. I checked my bill and found that 2g usage is 2000 rs, and 3g usage amount is 35000 something, so can you please tell me why &
when my 2g plan converted to 3g, and do u have any request of mine for 2g to 3g conversion.

Hence give me the reason that why I should pay 35000 rupees.
