[Resolved] Airtel — BROADBAND | |||
Sir/mam I have shifted to Hassan in September 2010. Before leaving Hyderabad, I paid my pending broad band bill online on Sep 5 or Sep 6 of 2010. (I have continuously paid my bills online , either on same day bill uploaded or next day itself. And there is no defaults at all) Then I informed airtel officials to get back the instrument as I surrendered the connection. But even after 15 days their staff could not come and take back the instrument. As I had to join my office , I had no other option but to take the instrument and leave, which i did. After that I have been receiving phone calls, mobile messages about non-payment of my bills. But as there is no mistake on my part (after paying last bill online, I also informed AIRTEL to take back instrument), still airtel harassing me about this. I have even given my present address to take back their instrument still with me. I have updated my present mobile number also with airtel, but they contact me on my roaming number for past 8 months, causing me huge monetary loss and mental tension during working hours . I also asked telecallers to check my bill payment history, and verify my complaint with them for surrender of connection in their recordings (because all calls they make to or receive from cunsumers are recorded for their internal training purposes). But all requests are of no use. They keep calling,disturbing,harassing as always. Request advise and solution . By the way of introduction, I am Gopinath from Tirupur. I have Airtel Broadband connection for my business and the landline number is[protected]. It has been two months since we have given a letter in tirupur airtel office on "Transferring the line to a different address".
The exact date of letter submission is on June 7th 2011 and it is now 10th August and I have not received any responses from Airtel office yet. I have called the area manager Mahalingam and sales person Prakash thousands and thousands of times, but it seems that they really do not care about their customers. As our business is completely dependent on Internet, I personally encounter hell a lot of issues. please let us know if the line cannot be transferred. We have no hesitation n getting a connection from a different provider. I am hoping that my issues will be resolved soon. Pls email me on any updates [protected]@gmail.com

After repeatedly calling for last 12 days no one has come to install Airtel broadband. No one picks up my phone; no one calls me of the delay. They have defaulted on their timelines at least 10 times.
I am considering they have fraud me of my registration payment.

but of late today i again i rceived call from AIRTEL LEGAL DEPT. advising me to visit nearest Airtel office and my bill is pending. i felt it was a threatening call that i may have to face legally for none of my mistake.
i am wondering whether thr is any systematic approach towards complaints resolutions. if anything like that is being followed, customer will never be harassed like this.

I am your broadband subscriber since 2007. My plan was Rs 499 a month with unlimited download and 100 free calls per month . I was surprised when I received bill of August 2011 and my plan was changed to Rs 650 per month without consulting me. When I inquired from customer care they said that they changed my plan with my permission but this is not true. Infact they never consulted me. When i subscribed for broaddand connection in 2007 Airtel was providing a speed of 64kbps and I was happy with it and now when airtel is providing speed of 512kbps at the same charges why should i ask them to change my plan to increse my speed secondly they told me that they are finishing that plan but my friends are still getting bill according to oldplan that is Rs499. Then why my plan is changed? Customer care executives tell me that they also try to contact me and none of my phone numbers were working but that was also not true. I am being harrased a lot. Please look into this matter. I am not ready to take this injustice. Please solve my problem otherwise i will take this matter to directorate of telecommunication .

I was using airtel broadband and landline. ( [protected] ) modem stopped working
when i complained they did not repair . they sent me bills for something which was not working
and they forced me to pay for service which they did not provide. please do not deal
with companies like airtel

Here is a breif of my experience with airtel. till june 2011 i was a 4
year old customer of airtel broadband and fixed line connection (vide
no.[protected] . in june i locked in a request for shifting of
connection , though your processing time is 5 days i was buzzed up for
more than two weeks , ultimately leading to a response Sir there is
no tag available , and SP is choked we regret inconvenience. After
that 3 times i applied for connection , and even after asking your
agent that Tag is not avail. plz chk the SP and wether if tag is
avail. it was physically verified and my documents were picked again
the wheel rolled around and finally after 18 days , i was told the
same . now when on monday (13th ) my documents were picked and i am
being buzzed around by ur exec that sir it will be done tmrw . next
day and so on. but nothing is happening . today recvd a call that ur
connection is cancelled . WTH . i am xtremely disgusted. and dont want
any fuss . i will this time not hesisate to file a complain with TRAI
.and even to consumer forum . kindly help me out ASAP. i am in deep
deep trouble and disgusted . (Agent to ld me that sir 110% tag is
there and i will meke sure its done , other wise i will pay frm my
pocket , or will give u my donglle. ) . And not only this when my
connection was rejected my co fellows connection was installed , not
once but thrice this has happened . i am not concernrd abt money i am
even ready to pay any arrears extra if reqd. but i want connection

2 month se mera net connection kharab chal raha hai. abhi main kewal landline hee use kar raha hoon. please 17 june se16 july , 17 july se lekar 31 august tak ka KEWAL fone ka REVISED BILL bheje aur is landline no[protected] main only IN COMING facility start kar dejiye. dhanyavaad.
