[Resolved]  Airtel India — POOR SERVICES BY AIRTEL , PUNE

I am residing in Pune , I have taken Airtel postpaid connection for Internet facility.
It was so frustating experience for me from Pune Airtel service team.
At the time of taking connection AIRTEL guaranteed me Internet Facility ,
After 2 months by repeatative complaints by me no one bothered to even entertain the complain.
I was really get frustated after getting treatment from such REPUTED TELECOMMUNICATION CO. LIKE AIRTEL.
Airtel authority should check this , I had made 104 calls to customer care centre in 2 months , evrey time I have to repeat my complaint , and sweetspeaking parrots from AIRTEL were telling me " sir you will get feedback in 72 Hrs. from our service dept."
After obesrving such shocking experience , AIRTEL gave me another shock by giving me BILL FOR services which they have never provided to me . Though I have paid it through my credit.
AIRTEL will be losing it's image day by day .

Senior Authority Sould Contact me If they have little attention towards there customers .
I think " EVERY CUSTOMER of AIRTEL IS AMBASSADOR OF AITEL ''

I have recently relocated to Pune and got a new Airtel postpaid connection through the agent who came to my company (IBM) for corporate connection.
The agent had promised me an activation time of 4 hours and it took almost 24 hours for activation.
But the real trouble came after that. The signal strength is extremely weak at most places. I cannot talk for more than 5 minutes continuously. If I take a call in my car while traveling to office from Aundh to Hinjewadi, the call gets dropped every 4-5 minutes. I never get the signal in my office- situated in the supposed to be IT hub of Pune - Hinjewadi Phase 2. And most of the times even when the network coverage is there while you make call it says "Network Busy".
I never get the signal at my home - in Aundh. Why do they come for corporate connection to the company when they know about the signal quality at the building? The customer support executives never attend to your queries well. You never get to talk to them.

I have had a prepaid connection of Airtel. But it has really been a headache to me. My connection does not work for more than 4.18 - 4.26 minutes, it gets disconnected. But I am being charged Rs.1.50 / STD call & Re.1.00 / Local call. Whenever the call gets disconnected in 1, 2, 3... minutes, immediately it jumps to 1 second more and my amount for 1 minute gets deducted. Besides when I'm inside my residential premises, it is a great moment to cheer if I can get a signal. Airtel has a very week signal strength. It is a lifetime card & I have paid an hefty amount of Rs. 499.00 to get this no. Now I feel cheated. Really Airtel is a company of frauds. But in India there is no justice, these big corporates know how to rob citizens and play with Indian laws. They pay hefty amonts to their law departments which ofcourse needless to say, is our own money & being used against us. Besides our ministers are provided some good under table amounts from these corporates so that the laws are framed to their convenience.

I have heard somewhere that initially around 8-9 years back this Airtel company had gone bankrupt. It seems now they are trying to make their customers go bankrupt.

The worst CustomerCare & telecom service I ever experienced is of airtel pune. The support from callcenter executives of airtel is pathetic. when asked to be patient while talking the person asked me to behave properly not only that he asked me--"do I speak like this in my home". I was provoked to use abusive language. he even told me his name, "Bhaskar", and told "jo karte bane kar le". Even I dont know whether he told his original name or fake. If any action would have been taken against this I would have been very happy.
Not only support but their services are also worst. numerous cross connection, false /hidden informations, bad services are all part of airtel services.
But still I have no choice but to use this connection only, else I have to give information to too many places about my new no. which is too tough for me in such a busy schedule. Might be this is a major reason why many people are still hanging with airtel.

Airtel connectivity in Pune is very very poor and weak. More than half of the time the phone will show "Emergency calls only" even if you are within the heart of the city. I recently moved to Pune and took airtel connection and from day one I had pathetic experience with Airtel. Nor can you make calls and nor can you attend calls cause more than half of the time connection is not there and more over when there is connection the moment you receive a call or make a call within 30 secs the call will go blank and automatically the call will get disconnected and after that to call back is a real pain... I would suggest please do not take Airtel connection in Pune.

My name is Anthony Mendonca Mobile No - [protected]. On 06/05/09 I visited your SHREE BALAJI COMMUNICATION Kalyani nagar centre pune maharashtra. Met Mr.Sanjay . the purpose of visit was to change my postpaid to perpaid. I completed all the formalities.
paid all the dues. The amount paid receipt no - 6130. amount 84/- ( eighty four only), second one with receipt no 2846.amount 120/- ( one hundred & twenty only) dated 06/05/09. after this i was informed that the new sim card will be activated after 48 hrs. till date this card is not activated. I tried your customer care 121, the kalyani nagar centre people but not without any output. Today i have received a bill of 92.41 what is all this. Please look into this matter immediatly and take action.

I am useing airtel prepaid service mobile no.[protected], since 1 year i am getting the problem in service network. when i am in my office mobile shows there is no signal. i had booked my complaint on dt.07/06/2009 to customer care they gave me complaint no but there is no appriciation in network. i have an problem of network only in my office site and my office is situated in hart of the city opposite relway station of NAGPUR (M.S).
I think I made a grave mistake by taking Airtel mobile post paid connection. I stay at chinchwad, Pune. Just fed up of poor service/ NO SERVICE syndrome of Airtel. The moment one drop of rain pours, my Airtel goes in the water, just no service, the tower goes totally horizontal, no access, no network!!! Calls to customer care are a real pain. First its all computerizes- so dial this for that, dial this for that... After much effort when I could speak to them- they are like PARROTS--just rattling out what is put in their brain. They cannot converse with customer, they dont understand the problems of customers, they promise to get back, only never to get back--48 hrs/72 hrs/ how many hrs/ days??? They do eat up ur brain when u want to disconnect the connection. what do I do???

hey buddy so soorry as u r facing problem of network in pune as we AIRTE are Switching to 3g NETWORK, work is in progress and after that AIRTEL would be the 1 serv PROv in india Providing 3g NETWORK ULTRA INTERNET SPPEED UPTO 3.4 MBPS So be patience you will see again AIRTEL as DAD of service provider

I'm facing a problem from the 1 month but this problem is still not resolved.
My number is [protected]. Mine is friends card and I"m added in the group whose group owner is having number([protected]). When I'm calling on this number from my number, 1 rs is cutting instead of 0.10 paise.
And, your executives are telling that my no is not added in any group. So, wen I try to include my no in the group created by my friend, I get the message that my number is added in the group.

I have written so many mails and I have called your Customer Care so many times that they have blocked my number and I can't call them now.
I'm trying to make your executives understand but they are not understanding the problem clearly.
Is this the service that you are providing to your customers?
How long one can have patience?
Either your system is incorrect or Airtel has started to make people fool and cheat them like this.

Airtel — Pathetic Service (Poor Signal Quality)

Dear Mr Sunil Mittal,

It’s very proud to know that Bharti Enterprises a leading business group of India. Seems that Bharti group is a pioneer in the telecom sector with many innovations to its credit (By Voice yourself) and Bharti Airtel Ltd, is one of the India’s leading private sector providers in telecommunications which has almost 80 million customers into its bucket by the end of Oct 2008.

Sir, I am Girish Daramoni a proud customer (+91-[protected])of your services. Well I had chosen Oct 2008 as my benchmark coz your services started giving me nightmares since then, because of poor pathetic signal quality. Escalated the issue several times, off course has some voice conversations recorded at my end. Well not threatening you that I will go the consumer forum with the weapon in my hands. Might be my escalation is a feather which can be easily neglected.

Seems that your company had boosted its growth to 2625 Million $ with a growth rate of almost 17%(please correct me if I am wrong). Financially your company is moving with a greater pace thanks to all those customers who had faith in you and I was one among them.

Well this is with regards to my complaint for poor signals at my residence and was escalated the issue more than 2 years ago. I don’t feel that it’s a challenge for you to rectify that when compared to your acquisitions of various companies into the folder of yours. Nether I have words nor I have patience to describe how painful were the days on behalf of my escalations since 2 years.
Now how could the situation is so painful to you when I neglect your bill for just 4 months? Not 4 years!!!. The reaction from your end is so drastic to cancel my incoming and outgoing calls.

Sir today (5/09/2010) when I called up your CC executive he says that the concern Dept is working on that and will be rectified soon (For 2 years, and your team is still finding a solution to resolve it?) but off course he is patient enough to listen to me. We the customers are frightened to call to your help lines as we are charged to express our grievances (0.50paise per 3 minutes). So definitely your complaints are zero indeed.

Well sir picking up the thread from where I left, till date I was a prompt payer of your bills, Never expected discounts and will neither expect in the future too, I am loyal to your brand but now feel that I was in an Illusion that I had purchased Asia’s trusted brand.
