[Resolved] Airtel Landline — bill plan change & change of alternate no.
I'm the owner of landline 4319068, I had contacted airtel landline customer care on the 6th of february 2008, and changed my tarrif plan to 425 instead of 499, and also one of the other change that I did was to change the alternate contact no . since the cust care did not have my cell no and advised not to call the number which they had earlier which was my wife's cell. Airtel Ref no. 3590490.
I contacted airtel today and they, found to my surprise that they had not changed my Tarrif plan to 425 and still had the old plan 499 on their system . however they confirm to me that they contacted my wife and she said that she would not want the plan changed, however I did not want to discuss my personal matters .The sole discreation and ownership of this landline from airtel is in my name. I find it very strange that instead of my advising them not to call to my wife they still did and in the event the tarrif plan did not change .
My complaint is that whatever happened happened, however now they should change my plan fro retrospective efffect i.e. from the 6th of February 2008. the customer care is denying that they could do so .
althought the ammount is small, it i seriously not only the money part bu what concerns me more is the correct documentation of what hs been spoken to the cust. care and apart from that my privacy is jeopardised . this matter is very serious and it is about my individual privacy.
please advise how could I take the matter any further.
