I am using prepaid mobile([protected]).I want to unsubscribe from Airtel live WAP service(Cricket Club).I already requested to customer care(121) vide request no.ROVAD[protected] dated 1/12/08 at12:54pm, But problem is not resolved yet. One massage arrived on 7/12/08 from 64611010 written as" Thanks for downloading subscription from Airtel Live WAP service.You 've been charged Rs.10. Enjoy.http://10.5.45.107/w?sld=001 Cricket massage coming daily from 56363. So pl remove this facilty from my mobile. Was this information helpful? | |

Do not disclose your mobile number at any place, The moment these bulk SMS pushers find out a number is active, all they do is push SMS.
Now, request your service provider for DND service. If you've availed it then you won't get any adds from Service provider.
I do not think operators apply filters for A2P (application to phone) SMSs. If they have one for free avail it. Blocking individual addresses is difficult from any operator at subscriber level (I guess).
If you are rich or capable of forming groups collaborate and file a case against that number taking your operator into confidence. It would give you a proper justice.

its total encroachment into privacy - unsolicited SMSs disturb a lot and the best part is that i am being charged rs. 10 for each of the services like manutd service, bikinibabes, filmybuzz, bolly, cricket, gamelounge etc..

I was receiving lot of crap sms from 555630.
I found a way to unsubscribe.
Just dial *321*44# and choose unsubscribe option from the menu.
Menu will ask you for reconfirming unsubscribe around 2 to 3 times.
Finally you will be unsubscribed from the DailyMIX services (http://m.mobshare/).

My Mobile No is [protected]. I am unnecessarily getting Cricket Score SMS from Number 54321. though I have not subscribed for this service. Moreover my balance is getting deducted for this service. Meanwhile i tried for help customer care but in vain. Pl stop this unwanted SMS immediately.
