hello and good evening everybody.my name is rajdeep singh.i have ported from vodafone to airtel a month ago in my city.everything went fine.i got services well till 20 days and after that my sim is made out of service as they ask for resubmission of documents.
i went to the retailer and submitted it again.the airtel official guys who collected my documents also sighned it and took it.but my sim is yet not active its almost 15 days . the distributor is called many a times by the retailer he always says it will be done by tomorrow

its my most important official number!! i need help .
the retailer gave me the number of that distributor and i called him but still the problems remains

i would really appreciate if anybody help me out am in serous trouble

I requested MNP from my AIRTEL prepaid to UNINOR prepaid and i got unique porting number AG878838. I have been told by UNINOR that airtel has rejected stating contractual obligation.

I have conacted airtel customer care and they have no idea about it and UNINOR say it has been rejected by AIRTEL and they have to approve.

I don't know what contact a prepaid customer has with airtel, I have been using it since 3 YEARS AND 6 MONTHS and its on my name.

kindly fix the issue

i wanted to switch to airtel from bsnl and for that i have applied for MNP in your Airtel store on 17th of Jan. After completing all the formalities i have got one sim from your side. i was told that your current no. will be transfer on 7th day and then you need to put this airtel sim in the mobile.but after 7days my bsnl sim get dead and when i put airtel sim, it is also not working(unregistered sim is showing)
Why you people are not starting my services.my number is dead from both the side. bsnl has aprooved my request of MNP through SMS.

i listened a lot about airtel and its services, and thats why i decided to move to airtel, my current operator is tata [protected]. but after trying a lot i come to a conclusion that what i have heard and the positive image of airtel in my mind i completely VANISHED. but still trying to change to airtel. if anyone concerns please replly

I had applied for MNP from Airtel to Vodafone for my number [protected] with Porting code: AK684537 on 02/06/11. It has been almost 12 days and I do not have clue when my number porting will be complete. Airtel Customer Care is also not able to help me regarding that. In the mean time AIrtel is subscribing my number to their bogus value added services automatically without my consent and reducing my valuable talktime by hefty amount. When I call customer care to reverse my charges as it was subscribed without my consent. They refuses even after I warn them that I will lodge complaints against their cheating and unlawful practice. I am very much frustrated with Airtel and want to switch as early as possible. Please advise.
I use airtel since 5 year. At 3 june airtel cut Rs. 30 in my a/c without any resion and also blocked the customer care line. I really harted and descid to choose MNP. And also complain airtel gprs service is very bad work and not provied any technical support. And customer care misbehaieve to me. I say airtel not best
If airtel help me my contact [protected] but i'm exceptation airtel provied me any help. Bcoz Is very bad mobile provider in India

This is the second time I am registering this complaint on this forum

My name is Dirar.I am from Kerala.I have been an Airtel pre-paid customer for years but as recently their telecommunication network coverage has become very poor in my area I want to port my number([protected])to some other service provider and for this purpose I have been sending porting requests to Airtel in the prescribed format(PORT<>number to 1900) for a month now.
I have already sent them about 11 porting requests but they don't let me port my number to any other service providers ,worse still,they don't take my call when I call their customer care numbers

Dr Sir I (Rajeev Bhatt) ported my number ([protected]) into airtel but after port in (20 jun 2011) it does not show my balance and validity till now (23 jun 2011) so please clear this fault.

You say my problem was listed here on 22 June but you have conveniently hidden the fact that this is the second time I have registered my problem on this forum.
You say you will get in touch with me for further details of my concern.Isn't it crystal clear to you that I want to port out to some other service provider?
For the five years I have been having difficulty due to your insufficient coverage in area, and when MNP regulations came into force I was much relieved that finally I was going to get my problem solved but it is quite disappointing that you holding me a captive to your services which I am no longer interested in.
If you are not piece of machinery but a sensible human being like me you will understand what I mean and want, which is nothing but a porting-out .
You say you are going to contact me, which is nothing short of making fun of me.I know what you are going to ask me.You will If there is your tower in my locality and I will say I am not aware of it.Even if there is one or you are going to put up one is no longer of any interest to me since your customer care executives are treating me like an unwelcome guest by not answering my calls to your notorious 198.
I would like to spare you the trouble of calling me.I don't want to have any special offers from you.Just let me port out or your services will suffer as I am planning to air my problem on all available and responsible consumer forums and websites across the globe, which will definitely be damaging to you

Hereby I would like to notify on this forum that my problem of MNP with Airtel has been solved.Let me express my sincere thanks to the admin and his team for their earnest and successful intervention on my behalf.My thanks are also due to the Airtel team who were finally able to help me out.
Let me conclude my words by expressing my heartfelt gratitude to this forum again
I received a call from a Lady from Airtel corporate office and she advised me to re-submit the document and the MNP will be done smoothly. Accordingly I resubmitted the MNP request to Vodafone with Porting code AK855282 on 21/06/2011 and I had been provided with a Vodafone MNP kit bearing sim no. [protected]. I was advised by the shopkeeper that within a week my Airtel sim will be deactivated and then I need to use the aforesaid Vodafone sim.

Since then I am received at least 5 calls from Airtel asking the same question again and again why are you leaving Airtel. I had answered them again and again that I am not satisafied with Airtel due to signal and other issues.They offered me various offer on Airtel and each time I said I want to move to Vodafone. But they have kept calling me. Now it is almost 7 days and I have not received any information about MNP. Please let me know how soon it will be done.
Hurray! My MNP has been finally done! I would like to thank Hemlata from Airtel Corporate Office and Vodafone Care Kolkata for making this happen.
I have opted for MNP,switching from Airtel to Docomo.Now it is more than 15 days,Airtel is simply not responding & releasing my No.[protected].. TataDocomo people tell me that Airtel is not releasing my No. Please do something about it. Unique porting ID is.AM246989.

I have applied for Porting from Airtel 2 Vodafone. I submitted my all required & appropriate documents for Porting in Vodafone Store..But Airtel rejecting my request saying " There is a subsisting contractual obligation from the Subscriber agreement." But i have no such type of agreement with airtel.. Customer Care also not responding & making a fun with so many lies. Look further about this problems.
my std calls not @ 40p/sec .

I was ported my Reliance CDMA Prepaid Mobile Number i.e. [protected] to AIRTEL GSM Prepaid Number in the month on JUNE 2011 ,but till date
my Number is not working.I hav contacted to everybody from CallCenter to Customer to Airtel Gallery but no one is able to sort out my problem.It is very shame on your service that you people are not taking my problem seriously everybody is taking lightly.
I have contacted to the AirTel Galley from where i brought the MNP SIM but they people told me to contact Customer Care and then i was called to customer care then they told to contact AIRTEL Galley both are just playing game of hide & seek with me.

Please Solve my issue ASAP otherwise I will go to Consumer Forum and complaint against you.

I want upc code of this no. airtel company stop the out going sms service of all no and U.P.C. CODE provider no.

when i talk about this matter the customer does not give any response of U.P.C. CODE MATTER..
