Airtel — Poor Connectivity

Dear Sir

I am writing on behalf of my father Mr Guninder Singh Chandok. We are residing in Bangalore and my father has been with your company airtel from the past 10 years plus. We have three post paid and one pre paid connection currently. The Mobile numbers are [protected], [protected], [protected] and [protected].

We have been facing indoor network issues from the last 3 years. We complain and the issue was resolved only partly however from the last 8 to 10 months condition has turned from bad to worse. We have made many complains and instead of things improving , things have turned worse. We cannot receive or make calls inside my house and we have to stand outside at the front gate or worse on the road. Mobile phone is suppose to be mobile and we cannot use in our house.We cannot make or receive calls or sms at all inside my house. I get cab facility from my office and I have missed my cab several times as they could reach me on my mobile and have spend Rs.200 to reach office thanks to your bad network coverage. My complains have been closed without our consent stating it is resolved and we have been told to wait for 90 days for it to be resolved.

Surprisingly Idea mobile coverage is reaching inside my house without any problems.Today I was told that I can move to another provider. What does airtel want us to do for 90 days? why was it not resolved before? Who will compensate for inconvenience caused?

Why Idea is working and not yours ? We have been paying rental charges and getting the worse service. When we try to speak to your customer services due to poor connectivity Call gets dropped and they do not have the courtesy to call back. I called today 4 times and call gets dropped every time when I told them at the start of the call that I am standing on the middle of the road and explained the network situation as well as asked to call back if call drops. No call backs. I was placed on hold for a long time and call dropped with connection error message.I have spent hours on the mobile to complain as your customer services team takes hours registering and answering my queries.Every time call drops I have to call again and repeat my complain which is very frustrating. We pay our bills on time and good amount of money for this bad service and connectivity. Your technical people came to our house 3 times and said they would resolve it in 3 days every time after which we get a call that it would take 90 days to resolve it. Why 90 days ?

Airtel is supposed to be the number one company in India as per your customer services team thus your company made it clear in the last 3 conversations that you are not willing to resolve our query sooner and as per today's conversation that you want us to leave your company.

I had landline services with you which was [protected] I have placed an request for cancellation today as I received poor service I paid a lot for broadband and there was no value for money. I received a good offer from any other company who offered better speed and download capacity. There is value for money. I called your landline team told them about the offer where I am paying less and getting more. I was with you for more than 5 years and everything you have only increased the prices for the plan I was under but never improved the services for affordable prices. My landline will no longer be with you from 27th September. Now we have no other choice to move our mobile numbers to another company as your company cannot gave a quick solution and want us to leave. Our patience and loyalty for your company has run out.

Please look into this for us and let us know your decision as soon as possible. Are you ready to lose loyal customers ?

I am a subsciber of Airtel connection and my Mobile No is [protected]. I am staying in Railway Officers colony ay Punch Kuiyan Road in Connaught Place, New Delhi. The network connection is very poor in this location and it is becoming impossible to communicate properly and complete the call.
Can something be done in this regard. I shall be waiting for the response.

Airtel — Extremely poor connectivity

I am suscriber of Airtel since last 3-4 years & my cell no. is[protected]. It is extremely worst coverage that is provided by Airtel & I truly disgusted with the service.

Airtel Mobile Services — Connectivity and call drop

We live in Vaishali, Ghaziabad and all o[censored]s have a common complaint of being unable to recieve/ make a call through at one go - network connectivity is damn poor and erratic.

If by chance, if the call goes through, it disconnects within few seconds.

My suggestion that Airtel improves and boosts its network in Vaishali region.

If this does not improve, I am sure many like me will have no option but to change the service provider.

Airtel mobile connection — Poor connectivity

I stay in the ORR area (Iblur) and have complained atleast 10 times over the poor connectivity in my apartment. All the time, we get signals from various towers - ranging from Koramangala to even MG Road (as shown on the display of my phone). Signal is extremely poor and the line drops frequently - I cannot speak for more than 2 minutes without the line dropping - even from the balcony.
All these people do is promise to rectify it within 2 days and then nothing happens. My average billing is in the region of Rs. 10, 000 per month and yet these people do not seem to care.
I intend to change to another service provider.
We are one of the leading constructors in Mogappair area. Office is located on the main junction . All business development activities are being dropped due to Bad signal. For this business it is more important for us to have proper communication through out the project. Many times it has be complained but no action is being taken over towards the complaint. Please make out the possible action regarding signal .

Almost from 2-3 months we are noticing that the airtel connectivity in Bangalore has become worst. For calling up other networks other than landlines we have to keep on trying and the regular answer will be connection error and even if gets connected there is every chance of voice breaking, one way speech or call loss. Repeated complaints has not improved the situation. Can something be done in this regard

I can receive a call but conversation is not possible due to not transferring of the voice to each other.
I was complaint 2 times to customer care service.

This is prabhu a Business Man from Pondicherry i am having 8 Airtel connections, BroadBand and a land line my personal Mobile no is [protected] and i am having another no [protected] this no sim card was rejected by wrong Puk code we have already complaines and as perthe advice we have bought a Duplicate sim card on 05.02.09 at 7.00 pm at M/S Arun agencies Mission Street Pondicherry where in they have told us that the card will be atctvated by 06.02.09 7.00 Pm only but your coustemer care peoples told me that you card will be activated with in 2 Hours yet there is no result i am loosing my business because of the above matter why i should not go for a clime againsrt your activity and why i should not cancell all my Airtel Connection and go for a new Company who can serve me in time let me know what you are going to do awaitng for reply

at bhatinda cantt the signal of airtel is very week, inside the house there is hardly any signal..so nobody can call us..to make a call we have to come out of the house.please improve your communication.the closest airtel towers are at bharat nagar bhatinda ,punjab (i.e. 4km away),other one is at bhucho,bhatinda(i.e 5 km away).request do something fast.
presently roaming at seawoods, navi mumbai,mumbai.your signal here is also very poor and intermitently missing.
Dear All,
If you are living in the area of Road No 70. Jubilee Hills, I would not recommend to take Airtel. As the signals in this area are really bad.

After repeated complaints I get a call saying that "the signals are good on the road", which was really a surprise for me, as they expected me to take call on the road and not in the house. Where as Idea and reliance work from the same locations.

If they cannot troubleshoot the problem in the heart of the city, I am not sure how they would handle the situation in other parts.

This is just to share my experience and avoid the pain.

I called today and was told that my complaint was closed again by the network team as resolved even though it has not been resolved stating it would take 90 days again to resolve my query. Your company failed to answer the following questions

What does airtel want us to do for 90 days?
Why was it not resolved before?
Who will compensate for inconvenience caused?
Why my complains have been closed without our consent stating it is resolved and we have been told to wait for 90 days for it to be resolved.
Why Idea is working and not yours ?
Are you ready to lose loyal customers ?

Your company did not have the courtesy to call us and inform us that the case was closed.

My question was not about why it is taking time to cancel my phone number nor there was any question about the landline as I have already moved to another provider.(Even though your people have not come to remove their equipment and wires from my property as yet when I call yesterday I was told it takes 5 days This was expected as usual) The question was why is your company treating us badly.

We cannot wait for 90 days and will be forced to move to another company soon. Please do expect to lose another 15 connections as my neighbors who are facing similar problems which are less painful than us will also be moving to Idea soon.

This is exactly what happened to me. I am experiencing connection drops and it has been worst for last 5-6 months. I complained and they told me that they need 90 days to resolve the issue, the reason cited is they need to build a new tower in my area which is inside Bangalore city limits. I waited and when I called after 60-70 days I came to know that they had closed the case that time itself (before 2 months) stating that it is an indoor issue and resolving as per customer acceptance. What an unethical way of doing business! I have 4 mobile connections and one broadband connection and has been a loyal customer for past 7 years. I wanted to keep the numbers and hence waited till now. There is a limit, I can't wait anymore as they are looting my money without providing basic service. Goodbye Airtel.
