[Resolved]  Airtel Postpaid Mobile Services — Discrepancy in bill generation

Complaint is for Airtel postpaid connection:[protected] and account:A/c. No.[protected] and billing discrepancy for the month of May,June,2010.
I was imposed a hefty postpaid bill of Rs 2038.84/-.
I filed complaint against this discrepancy number of times but did not received proper explanation nor any assurance from airtel. I paid bills for subsequent months , despite of that my outgoing services were blocked.
Even when issue was not resolved the incoming services were also blocked in month of Aug.I have to suffer a huge loss as my Airtel number was blocked unnecessary. Many of Recruiters could not contact me as the service was blocked. Along with this I was getting continuous calls from recovery department and other airtel teams for payment.Now as this issue was for the month of May the impact was carried till month of August. I wrote to airtel customer care,Nodal officer , Appellate officer but never received solution on this.
I have all those communication with me.
I had really suffered a lot using Airtel service. Today also I get mail for payment.

Airtel Postpaid Mobile Services — Poor network and abrupt services

BE AWAY FROM AIRTEL, A ROUGUE MOBILE SERVICE PROVIDER !

I am having Airtel post paid connection from last 5 years. Its now a disappoint for me that, Airtel mobile network service has become such a serious poor service that they are now a days just road side prank cheaters. Manytmes, I have sent so many threatening, abusing and even threatening SMSs to kill their top management over poor service in Pune. But to my surprise, till now either their services is improved nor they have deceny ask me what's that huge problem I am fussing about. Airtel is an such a rougue organisation, Idont have any words to explain.

If I have the power (or I would be the TRAI) to take any actions against AIRTEL, I would have put the entire top management, including Mr. Mittal behind bars for voilating good corporate governance norms.

MOBILE BILL — billing Issue

You have billed Rs.543/- is roaming charges, we have not received the roaming charges bill details. Now we want the roaming charges itemized bill details for the month of may 2009. pls sent the details through our mail id [protected]@rediffmail.com. This timely help is very useful to us. Please sent the bill details as early as possible.

myself Subash shastri ,,i am using ur airtel postpaid num [protected] from 1 month and also prepaid no from 7 years . but now i am not satisfied with ur airtel postpaid services due to wrong commitment and wrong billing .

my issues are listed below:

1. it was commited that my call conference service will be free of cost but its charging.
2. it was commited that i will get Rs 150 discount in local calls for A2A and Rs 149 for A2O but its in mints.
3. there are some extra charges for valled added services as for hello tune , charges added for calling on value added nums
4.my sms discounts are only for local but it was commited that i will get Rs 150 discount for sms on any number.
5. i have already told to your executive that i have max. usage for std calls then he told me that in your bill you will get Rs 200 for std calls on any num but i am not geeting any discount in my bill.

so , dear team these are my issues releated to my bill plan and this month bill charges. so plz resolve these issues as soon as possible.
and plz give me resolution on urgent basis .

on my calculation Rs 650 should be waveup or should be adjusted for this month bill ,,,,,,,,,so plz do it then after i will go for bill payment
and also revert me back as soon as possible ,

i believe on airtel services till now that airtel cares for his customers so plz look in this matter and take necessary steps ASAP.

Airtel Postpaid Mobile Services — abnormal billing to mobile no 9611126770

Dear Sir,
We have post paid mobile connection bearing mobile no [protected] to our Executive of KVG Bank - Dharwad - Karnataka. Last week our Executive was on official tour to Malyasia for 6 days. During his tour he has hardly contacted 8 to 10 times to the nos at INDIA. We have received messages stating the bill amount is Rs 41600/- which is abnormally very high. After contacting to local authorised service providers at Dharwad there is no proper response. They direct us to get information through customer care. At customer care the person attending the calls change frequently & suggest to wait for some time. We are facing difficulty to contact the right person an solve the issue.

Discrepancy in bill generation since the month of Aug (Airtel), Delhi

My no. is [protected] (post paid). I did my last payment in Aug and I had called up the airtel customer service to disconnect the no. or else if possible they can convert it to a mumbai no. to which the agent said he will work on it and will convert it into a postpaid mumbai no. and also he suggested me to keep my no in safe custody for few months so that I can retain the same no. Also I requested him to change my rental plan from 299 special to a zero rental plan and it was confirmed to me over the phone that my plan has been changed and it's in safe custody for a period of 6 months. Now in November I am receiving a call from Airtel stating that I have to pay Rs. 1500/-. They were not even aware of the plan change or about the safe custody and were pressurizing me to make the payment at the earliest. Even after talking to around 4-5 agents nobody could resolve the problem. Lastly, I spoke to a senior agent he said he is working on it and in one month's time my no. would be converted to mumbai no. and my arrears will be waived of.
But till date am receiving calls from airtel and every time I have to explain them the same problem when they see they cant do anything about it either they will disconnect the call or else they will make false promises and again after few days someone new will call will the same query. I have requested them to check their records and find out the agent whom I spoke to in Aug who confirmed to me that everything was in order. But it seems airtel never records any of the calls made by the customer and expects its customers to suffer and due to some agents fault the customer has to bear the cost. I was thinking of taking up the same no. or atleast similar no. in mumbai but I am deeply dissappointed by the way my problem is being dealt. I have been a loyal airtel customer since the past 6-7 yrs. I never expected this from airtel. They are harrasing me everyday with their calls on my mobile and my home no. and everyday I have to explain the same thing and they hang up saying they will get back or simply disconnect on my face. I have to call up atleast 5-6 times to get through the airtel customer service after long hold.

If you treat your long standing customers like dirt then soon your brand name will diminish. I hope I will atleast get a response on this. Just a couple of mins back I called up a lady agent and she disconnected my call. If your agents cant help out to such simple queries...I wonder why are they even hired...to create more trouble for the customers...i guess.

Plan informed by dealer: CUG unlimited free, 2000mins Local & STD airtel free/month, Local call 30 paise, Std Airtel 60paise, STD others 60 paise.
Plan confirmed through call: CUG unlimited free, 2000mins Local & STD airtel free/month, Local call 30 paise, Std Airtel 60paise, STD others Rs 1.50.
Plan in bill: 2000mins CUG & Local & STD airtel free/month, Local call 30 paise, Std Airtel 60paise, STD others Rs 1.50.
But in this why they are mentioning CUG numbers i don't understand.
While we made complaint we recieved the plan details as : 2000mins CUG & Local & STD airtel free/month, Local call 30 paise, Std Airtel 60paise, STD others Rs 1.
Which one we can follow?

Airtel Postpaid Mobile Services — Billing Discrepancy

This complaint is regarding the Air tel Postpaid mobile charges discrepancy issue. I was out of town for 3-4 months and My Phone was with My Mother (who is 60 years old and don't even know how to send or check sms). They charged me 7000+ amount for 3G usage which can not be true. Air tel charged fraud amount from me. I logged a complaint when I was back in Town on which they never responded back and after few days they deactivated my services and started calling all my known people and starting harassing me. They never reverted back on my Alternate Land line or Mobile number which I supplied at the time of logging complaint.

After few months they emailed me a legal notice to make the payment and their Agent Ashwini called me threatening that If I am not making the payment they will trouble me personally. Then My Husband called Ashwini and they settled to make payment of 5000 Rs and the Air tel Agent sent me an email assuring that once I make the payment they will reactivate my number (On Dec 3 2011) . Last week when I went to Nearest Air tel Outlet in Galleria Market Gurgaon they informed me that my number is permanently deactivated as there is still some outstanding of 3000 Rs. When I called back the Agent Mr. Ashwini he told me that it will take unlimited time to get the services reactivated.

Highly disappointed with their services and , need urgent help in fixing this issue. Please suggest and help me with this regards. If they cant reactivate the services I need the money back which I paid please.

Airtel Post Paid — Billing Discrepancy

Hi, I have two airtel connections [protected] & [protected](Please check my past transaction & usage records). I have enjoyed my airtel connection and the usage flexibility. The issue statred with last month bill of my connection [protected] which has a 98 plan for 1GB free. Now some how my usage was 1.7 GB and Airtel chaged me Rs 7000 for extra .7GB. Fair enough i had sought time till 1st of My to make the Payment. Being a frequnt user with a monthely avergae bill of Rs 5000 Plus i get abused by Airtel every day. The Slang used is not acceptable under any circumstances. Today again i received a call from [protected] using abusive language.

Can airtel do something about this....esle i will soon migrate to a different service provider.
