[Resolved]  Airtel Postpaid — Termination of connection

I am having a postpaid Airtel connection number [protected]. I hardly use this connection,but I got a bill of Rs.1080. This included Rs.904 towards data charges for which the bill contains no break up.

I called the Airtel customer care twice today. I got a complaint number 49584166. They assured me that someone from the technical team will call me within 2 hours. Since there was no call for more than 3 hours, I repeated a call to them. This time, some other call centre executive came on line and continued the usual verification process and then assured that within a few minutes someone will call me. This again was a false statement. None has called me so far.

The irony of the matter is, if we call 121 and have to talk to an executive, the call will be charged at 60 paise per two minutes. This is an unfair practice.

I am not interested in continuing my connection with Airtel. Please get this terminated immediately.

Bharti Cellular Limited — Termination of Airtel post paid

I want to terminate my Airtel Post Paid service and tried to do so by calling to the customer care of Airtel on [protected] several times.

The customer care representative instead of terminating the service, first asked me many questions why i want to terminate. I answered them. Then he said he is transferring my call to another department saying they will terminates the service and no one responded on that number. Then the call got disconnected.

After that I called the customer care twice and as soon as mentioned that I want to terminate the service to the customer care executive, my call was cut.

Later on, my calls were not at all transferred to the customer care executive at all.

This is ridiculous. My billing cycle is from 25th of every month and today is 24th. So it looks like these airtel folks will ask me to pay the fixed rental (599 Rs) for the next billing cycle as well by not taking my request to terminate the service today i.e on 24th March.

I would like to black list airtel if they do something cheap like this.

AirTel — Connection termination

Hi,

I had submitted the connection termination application for my airtel number ([protected]) in the month of March' 08 and has also paid the outstanding amount at the same time...but sorry to say nobody has yet taken any action on it and I am continously getting the bill every month. Infact a month ago I have also received one legal notice for making the payment. I went to the Airtel shop (Meerut - Nai sarak) along with all the documents and proofs and asked them why you are sending me the bill regugarly when I have already submitted the termination application and paid all the money...they checked thier records and apologies for the mistake and said that you will not get any bill from now and connection will get terminated within 24 hours...but still the situation is same even though I have written a mail to Nodal office and senior officer...but didnt get any reply from that...request you to help me here.

Bharti Cellular Limited — Charge for a promotional offer without permission

On November 9th at 11:31 PM iI received a massage informing that I have been charged for Hello tune activation.
Today when I compaint about the same in custommer care they tell me that you have pressed '*' and '9" buttons on your keypad when a promotional call for Hellotune from company. But I hasd not received such a call even. Also my call log dosent show it.

The company charged me for the offer without my permission .

I hope you will help me for taking refund from the company.

This service provider has cheated me second time such a way.

Custommer care supervisor behaviour was very rude in response of the compaint.

AirTel — Connection terminated

Dear Madam / Sir,

My mobile number [protected] (which i have been using from almost 6 years) got disconnected without any valid reason. When i called customer care they informed me that the sim was not in use for 2 months and that is the reason for disconnection. But i have not kept the sim idle. The sim's validity was not over and i use to make calls using the same sim. I use to recharge and had made calls just days before disconnection and I can submit proofs for the same.

Please help me out to restore my connection.

NB:It is disappointing that Airtel customer care was not ready even to register a complaint when requested.

AirTel — termination of connection

they terminated my mobile connection without any prior information . after asking in their customer care they told me that due to documentation they did that while i submitted all the documents and my phone was active more than a month . this is a big sorrow for me as i had more than 100 rs balance .

please take quick and proper action .
