[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — deduction of balance

My name is Sandeep Kumar, I'm using Airtel Prepaid number [protected].
A month before while browsing internet, unknowingly i clicked an ad that came in mobile, due to this Rs. 99 had been deducted from my account balance. But I didn't complain to the Airtel aithorities as it was my mistake.

But recently 2 days before I received a message from Airtel stating that the value added service that was subscribed by me would be automatically renewed by deducting Rs. 99 from my account. Then I had immediately tracked the services that are active in my mobile, but i recieved a message stating there are no services subscribed in my mobile.
Though i recieved such message I contacted the Airtel customercare cell, but the customer care representative also informed me that there are no services active in my mobile and also told me not to worry as the wouldn't be deducted.
But today I saw Rs. 99 deducted from my account.

This is not the first time that had happend to me like this, earlier also I had experienced like this with the Airtel.
I request Airtel to go through this issue and give me back my money and also stop the services that are active in my mobile.

I have airtel prepaid No.[protected]o in hyderabad, Airtel is deducting maximum of balance every time by posting sms " thanks for downloading sexypool or bikinibabes or aytimepool etc., etc., " & charges for same is maximum as of balance, after deducting the same i cannot connect to cc reps because bal is less than INR 2. For which repeated complaints has been made even though same activity is being perform "Ref No.s [protected], 3/3/10, 11.40 again 1 more sms received ("Thanks for using bikinibabes subscription service from Airtel.You have been charged Rs 10, 3/3/10 23:50:23") I m tired so long and 3 to 4 calls making and talking to cc reps everytime. please i request take caution in this regard.

I have an Airtel Hyderabad no. which I am using in Gurgaon.. Rs 98 was deducted from my balance in the name of Internet charges which i subscribed last month, and not in this month...when I called 121, I was asked to call Airtel Customer care in Andhra Pradesh which is [protected] for which STD charges are applicable.. I tried calling up but the number was not valid...

Airtel should look at upgrading their services for better customer experience rather that robbing their customers of petty cash through such means...SHAME!

Airtel — Rs 99 simply deducted from my prepaid mobile balance

Dear Sir,
I received a service message on16/6/2010 which did not had any details price or anything I simply clicked it I suddenly got message from airtel that rs 99 has been deducted from my airtel prepaid account for downloading game from airtel hungama contest. I am a subsciber of airtel free internet of 100 mb per month. This deduction that too from a fraud service message is atrocious and I am considering to discontinue airtel prepaid connection after being a subscriber for 4 years, if my problem is not resolved soon.

i have a airtel prepaid account, I don't know why but the every time my balance fets deducted in name of some offers and schemes,which i have not activated.I have launced complaints in airtel customer care ,which is also a paid call now, many times but of no use.
Now i m left with just two options either to quit with airtel or to move on to consumer court.

I agree with your complaints. The Airtel is the worst cheater company. They are really a criminal. Mittal and other Airtel managers, policy makers, scheme management all are liable to hang till death. , always deduct amounts. I am facing this issue since one year. But, sue to personal reasons unable to change number. I complain several times, but no actions.

sir,its matter of regret to inform u that there was deduction from my balance without any notification.i have not subscribed any of your plan.this problem occured in both of my sim.presetly these sims r being used by mom and dad.so i kindly request you to consider my case and solve the problem.kindly deactivate if any plan is active and do not deduce any balance except call and message charges.

after this massage i do call customer care then anyone not given proper reaseon & reply from customer care.

please deactivate all value added service on my airel prepaid account

I am a consumer of airtel prepaid mobile service (mobile no. [protected] ). Airtel deducted balance of my mobile after starting two services on my mobie without my knowledge . I complained about this on customer care and asked them to stop services and refund of my money (complaint code CMRWC[protected] ) .they insisted me of action but still I do not got my money .
this is second time this has happened to me, last time on 14th of august i got my refund but same didn't happened this time.this is complaint noticed by some other mates of mine .Why is airtel looting costumers without their knowledge? Hoping for action.

Change your service provider as I have decided to do, 'number portability' is going to come, so no worries.I am going to say good bye to this fraud company forever even if number portability does not come in India.
Good bye fraud and bad customer executives(11 dec. 2010 at around 2.40 pm I saw another example)

So switch over to Vodafone, it is way better in this regard.
ya i too agree.. i have already dumped my airtel number because lately it has become a plunderer of balance for no reason while its customer care (you are charged for even calling the customer care now) has deteriorated significantly.

I lost my balance of rs.150 on 12th December in my number [protected] claiming it was used in airtel live but actually i didn't and they are even not ready to take complain.

I have not download anything from my mobile because my internet application of mobile is not working from 2 months . I am using internet from that sim through computer. But i am not able to use internet through mobile. Please help me.

I am using airtel prepaid connection since couple of years.My mobile# [protected].Due to some reason I was not using this number but use to recharge it regularly to keep the number active.However when i started using number again got to know there was daily 1 Rupee deduction for VAS service which i never activated.I got to know it was some Islamic portal service which was activated.I called up customer care number 198 twice asking for answer but executives were sh rude enough to disconnect the call on both occasion.
I am simply asking for my money back which was deducted for the service which i never used nor did i activated.

My prepaid airtel no[protected] .You are deducting amount amount every time without any reason which is not acceptable to any customer of airtel. You have also deducted some money from may No. as mentioned above two times. when we try to contect with customer care aboubt the charges, they did not response .

Yesterday(27/02/2011) without my knowledge Airtel customer care activated love pack deducted 10 Rs from my account.After that i called customer care informed regarding this instead of getting back the money they activated cricket pack and deducted 30 Rs more from my account.yesterday night i could not sleep because they keep sending cricket update even after finishing the match.Kindly do the needful.thanking you for your kind consideration.

Yesterday(27/02/2011) without my knowledge Airtel customer care activated special SMS discount pack on my no, due to this amount on every sms deducted from my account.After that i called customer care informed regarding this instead of getting back the money they deactivated my sms service 700/ day and deducted 35 Rs more from my account. I could not able to send my contact and whatever i recharge they deduct that amount.Kindly do the needful.thanking you for your kind consideration.my request reference no is CBDVS[protected]...
