Airtel is looting us by sending message from 55381 and cutting RS 1/day whether we want or not. Your account balance will be deducted by Rs 1/Day.

I did not ask for any news subscription from 55381. I have the internet, and I am happy to use that for getting free news services. Why the hell would I want to get a news message?

I have been looking for any reply regarding this foul play that AIRTEL is playing with use OR someone with the help from AIRTEL. And, to my surprise, I did not see any suggestion to unsubscribe/block this.

What the hell is going on. Is there any AIRTEL authority loking into this case or not? this is not a problem with one or two individuals. it's a massive problem. If it will not be seen, I am afraid I will have to leave AIRTEL.

Thanks

Hi Guys,

most of the comments provided do not yield any results. You would infact end up spending 3/- every time you send these messages.

Instead of that, send STOP to 121 (toll free) and follow the instructions from the reply.

Regards,
Sandeep
Agree with Sandeep. The best solution is to sms STOP to toll free number 121 and follow as per instruction. u can also periodically check for any unsolicitrd looting being done without our knowledge. IT IS YOUR MONEY AND U HAVE TO BE CAREFUL.
