[Resolved]  Airtel — Poor Customer Care

Hello!!
This is to highlight that a premier and esteemed company like AIRTEL is well expected to be above average in their customer care, but to my surprise its absolutely below standard.
I have been using Airtel since quite some time now and have very recently found out that the service sector and servicing sector of the very co. are deprecating in their quality aggressively.
My no is [protected] and it has been activated with Daily Fashion Update, where by Rs. 2/ day is being deducted from my account and also Rs. 1 for special tariff. The customer care complaints have been unanswered even on several trials.
Please take some serious action and make sure that the unnecessary balance which has been cut is debited in my account at the earliest possible.
I had a word with your Mr. Debashis Deb on 28th Dec-11, who had promised me to deactivate the service since 31st Dec my customer reference no. is CBDCC[protected].
Don't force me to go to Consumer Forum.

today 26/6/2011 morning also rs 10 deducted from my account ... wht to do?????

my problems are not yet solved. i bought some flexi coupon for rs 30 and when ever i recharge with that card it is showing as "SERVICE CLASS VIOLATION" and recharge is not done.. i told this problem to customer care on 25/6/2011. do you have solution for that??

You told you have resolved all the problems, can you able to refund all the amount which have been deducted from my account before. you will get the details of how much amount have been deducted till now.. solve all these problem and put the above message...
Customer care of Air tel Dth is worst

I have recently purchased Airtel DTH connection, I would never recommend to have Airtel DTH connection. They are totally non responsive when attention to fault is there. After sale of set top box their installation is badly delayed. You have to spend good amount of energy and time with them to get the things done. There is no connection Between the person who is selling you set top box along with collection of full amount of installation charge and the agency who is doing installation. Their service personnel are totally discourteous. They misbehave also. Their installation charges are high and over that they will collect good amount for cable cost, which they will never tell you at the time of purchase of set top box. I suffered a lot at the time of purchase and still suffering as video is out in my DTH and There no signal in it since 22/02/12. Despite repeated complaint they are not responding. I will be thankful to a person who can tell me the procedure to get my money back which I spent for DTH installation so that I can opt for some other service provider. Some of the emails which I sent them are appended below to enlighten other users also.

Despite repeated complains nobody is attending to video fault in my DTH Transmission . On 24/02/2012 I called one Telugu knowing person to lodge complain through phone also. Till today nothing has been done. I will be highly obliged if you return my money which I spent for this Digital TV connection so that I can opt for some other service provider.

Dear Sir/ Madam,


Your servise personel has collected the the extra money on 20/02/2012 ( copy of Reciept enclosed) for which I was not informed at the time of purchase.

I also requested you to kindly inform me about the action taken by you to redress the issue of service concernswhich you have not been addressed by you till now.

Afterafter adjustment of installation of HD connection on 20/12/2012 by your service personel (while collecting the extra money), the transmission of dth got disrupted on 22/02/2012. I contacted the same person again to rectify the defects, He said that he will be rectifying the defect but he did not turn up. I again tried to contact him on 23/02/2012, he did not pick up the phone despite repeated calls. Because you have not left any option for me but to manage with same un responsive person, I am repeatedly subjected to poor customer service.Your customer care number gives pre recorded information in Telgu which I am unable to understand. Because of your poor service I have to spent lot of time in getting the issues resolved. Now I am planning to seek legal remedy to redress my grievances because you are not paying any attention to my repeated requests.

You have also not informed me about the procedure to discontinue your service and getting my money back including the installation and cable charges.This issue You are not replying despite my repeated requests.

Customer care representative doesn't even know details about the service activated in my mobile and apart from this he misguided me and debited amount from my main account to activate the SMS booster pack which has been already active, again balance from my account got deducted. The response from customer care was very poor and they have took a complaint but no response for that. even though SMS booster was active they charged money from my account for sending SMS(They took another complaint for this, like always they will never come back to the end user to solve the complaint). I am filling this complaint after undergoing many such incidents with airtel. Kindly please look into the issue so that this will not happen to others. Thanks.

I have called Airtel customer care 121 & complaint center 198 a number of times for poor m-check services. From the past 5 months I am not able to use my m-check services from my mobile (thru Airtel Live) properly. I am not able to recharge any amount thru m-check. After calling cust. care, their responses not helped me. Even when I tried to port my number due to all this, a call from Customer care executive came to me & assured me that mine complaint will be resolved in 2 days. But all this was of no use. Plz help. My mobile no. is [protected].
