[Resolved]  Airtel / Yahoo!zone — autorenewal of a service with out permission

I do not know how Yahoo!Zone service was subscribed. It may be by mistake while trying airtel's internet service. After that they renewed the service automatically last month with intimation. I sent a SMS to stop it but in vain. The message came from 58243. Yesterday, again I received the following message:

"Your monthly subscription for Yahoo!Zone is due on 19.Aug.08. You will be charged Rs 30. Continue using Y!Zone, you could be winner of an I-pod. "

Kindly help to stop this service.

this is the problem i have been facing for the past two months and because of that it caused me a loss of 60 Rs

Dear Sir,
I sent SMS several times for unsubscription of Airtel/Yahoo!Zone.But your air tel is decucting my money blindly.This is not good for a world famous company.If this practice is continued, definitely, I shall change my SIM CARD.

send "YUNSUB" to 58243. N 3 bucks will b deducted from ur a/c n Y!zone will be unsubscribed :)

Its too bad... many people suffering from Yahoo Zone
even i lost Rs.90 bcoz of yzone. God'll surely punish them i hate airtel even i will tell to my all college friends about this. Your Yzone will automatically activate when you enter airtel live.com... in that if access yzone. Please help the airtel customers.

Airtel is really robbing peoples money .I have lost more than Rs 250 with this accidental Yahoo zone subscription .i had access to WAP for one week and now even WAP is stopped on mobile.
I hate airtel doing such cheap act.Never expected Airtel as such a cheap company.

Airtel — Yahoo zone service not to be renew

Sir, I have a mobile No. [protected] But Now i want do not be renewed my service and money not to be deducted my prepaid card, so kindly disconnect the facility of yahoo zone on this mobile at the earliest

Airtel — yahoo zone charges taken by company after messages to stop this service

I am having a mobile connection of Airtel , no is [protected] , I started GPRS in this connection . I several time send messages the company to stop GPRS but in vein . Airtel did not stop this and charges full payment from me for 6 extra months in which I did not use this facility . Also Airtel is charging Rs 10 per week from me after my several reminders to stop yahoozone .
