[Resolved]  Ajay Modi's Yatra [0Km], Ahmedabad — Horrible coach, no responsibility once you pay them

If you are planning to book your honeymoon travelplan then please read it before you ruin it.

Everyone want to enjoy honeymoon tour and expect good service and comfort throughout whole tour. Once you decide place to go then you are searching for good travel agent or tour operator.

I have decided to join Ajay Modi's Yatra for honeymoon in Kerala.
when I visited his office they are showing video of tour. And in this video hotels are excellent. So I impressed and book my honeymoon tour with them. One thing is that they are not accepting cheques only cash. Bit strange might be stealing tax....

First day I travelled up to cochin by flight [this is not included in tour plan]. I reached on hotel by hiring a texi. But there was none of Ajay Modis representive in hotel. After 1 and half hour we managed to get room. Next day we have to leave cochin so we handover hotel keys by 9:00 am as per instruction and join rest of tour members. The coach [Luxury bus] suppose to arrive at 8:30 am outside hotel. But up to 4:00 pm there was no coach arrived.

In this duration we just waited outside hotel on the road. Even they didnt provided food or water during this time. We request to arrange hotel room for us so ladies can have rest there. But they were rudley saying that "it is not possible". So we tried to call Ahmedabad office, but there is standard answer "sir is not in office!!!.".
When Coach arrived at 4:00pm, we realized it is just like ST bus and it is full of insects and cockrochies. We draw attention of tour guide about this matter. But he didnt take any step. On this day evening they provided potato crisp and piece of cake in dinner!! Because we are behind in tour schedule.. Was it our fault??
We faced same horrible experience through out our tour. When we reached to ahmedabad we aske for compansation for all these incovienancy but Mr Modis denied for compensation.

I strongly suggest you NOT TO JOIN AJAY MODI'S TOUR EVER. Because he is rude, irresponsible, zero in management tour operator.
Try other tour operator in Ahmedabad, I do recommend KESARI, RADHE SHYAM and few others.. As they understand customer needs and comforts.

I have joined Ajay modi's tour of Kerala for my honeymoon from 24-31 March, 2015. I want to share my experience.

Bus used for transportation service was very good in condition and driver was also excellent in driving. No complaints for it at all,

Food provided by them was good, sometimes taste of some items was very bad, but overall for gujarati food lovers they have good menu.

Tour manager rudely said that whatever printed in brochure when we have booked( They provide brochure with full instruction) will not be followed, whole tour will be run by my instruction only. He said it is just for booking purpose, so my advise to management is that either they should stop distributing brochures or they should reprint it after discussing with their tour managers.

Tour manager or Management does not take proper interest in booking and distribution of rooms. As a result honeymoon couple gets rooms with single bed. I want to share my experience. I was provided room with two single beds in hotel Arcadia of Kottayam, while I have asked tour manager to solve this, he has sent hotel staff with single big bed sheet to make it one bed !!! Some times they understand customers very big fools. I have again asked tour manager to solve it, he has asked me very rudely to contact directly to main office to solve this issue. I was thinking if I am the tour manager ???. I have discussed with hotel manager for this, he said there is no any extra room. Then I have called my booking office Surat to Ms.Bhavnaben, Thanks to her I was able to get change the room. I was worried how hotel has made room immediately as they were not having any empty rooms.!!!

Next day while checkout, I have asked for feedback form at reception, he said they are not having these kind of forms!!! I was totally shocked. Request all of you please not go into this hotel if you are going through this tour. Ask management to change the hotel.And also advise to management that please select hotel with feedback forms available.

In Last station of tour, Trivendrum, we were provided room in very good conditioned hotel, but hotel and tour manager had not taken proper care and we were allotted family room which is two rooms connected by single door and through which voice from both the rooms can be easily listened by. It was my bed luck, my nearby couple was quarreling that night and we were not able to sleep as we have to get early for kanyakumari at 5 am. Then I have asked reception about this to solve it out.Thus also advise you all to please check the room properly.Hotel was windsor Rajdhani. However amenities and service was good of this hotel.

In some hotel hot water was not coming, hotel staff said there is some problem in whole hotel.

In trivendrum, we were taken padmanabh temple, but because of improper knowledge of tour manager we could not got chance to see statue of god, as temple was closed for the day.I think company should have all this type of information in well advance because they are very old player in market.

Apart from this tour manager was like one extra tourist with us, he was not providing any kind of information properly for the places to visit.

On last day of tour we were called for breakfast at early 5 am, although there were no any sight seen for the day. Reason was tour manager wanted to leave for his home (Its our problem!!!). Also we were asked to check out hotel by 9-30am, while our flight time was at 1-30pm, airport is 30minutes far away from hotel.

At last, they provided dropping facility to airport, Auto driver has asked more rupees from me asking hotel staff has made bargaining with him for less money.

My sincere request and advise to management is that ask and train your tour manager to become polite and do surprise checking of your tour staff how they are doing with customers. Because mouth publicity is the main key of service industry, it can not be achieved by these type of services.

Me and my husbands group went kashmir tour in march.
IT WAS VERY BAD EXPERIENCE OF AJAY MODI TOUR.
His Manager Mr. Mayank was alcoholic and very bad behavior with us. Food was not good.

Being customer I had posted my complaint in this consumer complaints forum, after Mr.Alap failed to bring resolution. I completely forgot about this post. But as my cousin asked me recently about my feedback for Ajay Modi’s 0 km for his honey moon, I remembered this. I advised him to stay away.
I am glad to see many comments here. I shared my personal experience with Ajay Modi’s 0 Km tour in Dec 2007. In Jan 2008, I personally went to Ajay Modi’s office twice to meet Alap and complaint about our tour and difficulties we faced. Mr. Alap has simply ignored it rather than bringing any resolution.
Neeraj Singh, I am simply sharing my experience here. If you think this is adverse publicity stunt by opponent tour operators then it’s your problem and your thoughts!!! Why don’t you start your own post and share your own experience instead of doubting on me?
For people who get benefited by my experience (this post) are lucky, at least you are not fooled by Mr Alap’s marketing presentation.
Mr Ajay don’t pray god as Gujarati believes that “Customers are God”. Saying my mind is rotten doesn’t benefit you. Saying me wrong, doesn’t make you right.
Mr Alap, You might send 8000 to 10000 people on tour in a year. But for some people it could be lifelong opportunity to take their loved one on tour. So they do expect 100% or more satisfaction. If you ruin this opportunity then you must have to learn that how to bring resolution and not to provide excuses. Your excuses don’t bring customer’s golden moment back particularly when you failed to provide services those you have promised.
Mr Alap, I am glad that you are not a doctor otherwise I couldn’t write my post and share my experience with others!!!
I do suggest other customer please share your own experience as it will help others to make decision for their tour selection.
