[Resolved]  AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM — Misbehaving by deemed university

Good Day
We are students of AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM deemed university (Established U/S 3 o[censored]GC Act 1956). We are students of[protected] batches. There are three campuses of this university <I> Amritapuri <ii>Bangalore <iii>Coimbatore. We have already paid the accommodation charge of year 2010-11. I like to tell you that the World leading company use to give internship (for final year project) opportunity for the students who gets placed in this. This internship program is of 4 months and people have to be there for internship on their cost. Till the batch 2006-10 university was refunding the accommodation charge of four months and it was right because students were using this refunded money for accommodation charge during internship and it was helpful. As you will be knowing that higher study is being costly day by day so students use to take education loan and all.

Now the important thing is for batch 2007-11 when more than 500 students are going for the internship they are denying to refund the accommodation charge of these four months. They are giving there dam reason that now they have changed the rule. But the truth is they never brought any notice/circular regarding the change of such rules. As the disadvantage of deemed university “If you will come for your right then they will make many problems in your academics no one comes before the management ". Now I again like to remind you that it affect the education plan of the students and brings the guardian in problems also.
I think the above description is enough to make you understand that which type of problems we have now. We are leaving our university campus on 19th - 20th Feb with our entire luggage’s. Please suggest us or take a right action for the same as we will be paying accommodation charge at both the places (One which we have paid already to university and the second which we will pay accommodation during Internship program).

We are requesting you to help us in above concern please and please help us to save our right. We are waiting for your help in this regard.
