Its the same with me, however the only difference is that its just a month of my house/ flat being constructed. We moved in our new flat a month back however within 10 days the switch boards wore off/ broke. I am told that it has a life time warranty but the problem is no one from the company comes to have it checked. In my case it is 15 days now that some one came and took the details of what needs to be replaced. For the last 3 days I have been contacting them but all in vain. Let me now if you need photos. Suggestion, PLEASE DO NOT BUY..

You should never buy anchor switches, as no aftersale service is provided by them. It is the worst company in customer support.

After shifting within 10 days the switchs and power plug started giving problem. I am told that it has a life time warranty but the problem is no one from the company comes to have it checked. In my case after giving complaint i got the mobile no of Area Sales Manager i.e. Sri Amitabh Sinha. They fixed the appointment for the visit of site 15 days before, but still no one have visited. For the last 3 days I have been contacting them but all in vain. Let me now if you need photos. Suggestion, Yes..PLEASE DO NOT BUY..

Yes I totally agree to all the complaints that have been lodged earlier against Anchor switches, as I am facing the same problem with the Anchor swithes.My house was constructed in 2011 and till now we have found almost all Anchor switches coming out of the electricity board which is very risky as anybody can get an electric shock if he/she accidently touches the board since the switches within span of one year are either out of the electricity board or are loose.
You should never buy anchor switches, as no aftersale service is provided by them. It is the worst company in customer support.
Anchor switches are expensive as compared to other brands but their quality is inferior to the local brands also.
Would hope for the quick redressal of this complaint from Anchor.

Same experience - worst quality switches. Durability is abysmal. They are obviously deliberately designed not to last, so that you keep buying more. Worst are their sockets manufactured in recent years - they don't fit plugs well, and loose connections have damaged some of our appliances! This has caused more monetary damage than replacing their garbage switches.
Now we have blacklisted Anchor products.

My new house constructed in Nov 2009 and all the switches were of Anchor. I found some of the switches were not working as intended( they got broken) within a three months. If it is one or two occurences, i could accept it and attribute it to improper handling but more than 7 switches were broken. This is without doubt indicates the inferior quality of Anchor switches. I experienced this not only in my new house but also in my job where i have to deal with electrical accessories and more than twice i found Anchor plug tops were not good and broken within few weeks of handling.
