APC Inverter — disastrous after-sales service

I have been facing problem with my APC inverter for the last two months. After having got the machine changed thrice and the battery once, the inverter still does not function properly. After every two/three hours the machine starts blinking and flashing signaling "fault". Every time I launch a complaint with their Bangalore call center (toll free number[protected]/ 4877), a service engineer is sent after about 4 days only to check the faulty machine and submit a report to get it replaced. Then again after another 4 to 5 days, someone comes and gets the machine replaced with another one which is even worse than the previous one. This new machine works fine for a day or two and then the same story gets repeated. In the last 2 months I have probably lodged 10 complaints with them and to make the matter even more ridiculous, I found that my residence phone number has been blocked by the Bangalore call center so that I can't contact them with any further complaints. I am having horrible experiences with the APC brand as the product, the services and the quality is absolutely below standard.

APC Inverter — Replacement of the Unit as it is on the Manufacturers fault

Hi

The complaint was lodged to the custormer care based on the Field service rpt given by Mr Kumar.
As per him the Unit has some fault and it has to be replaced for which we called the Customer Care on 4th Nov but today it is 20th Nov there is no response / any action taken on the complaint given.

Hope you would be resolving the same

APC Inverter — Inverter not working

My Home inverter is under warranty. The person visited diagonosed the problem as battery to be replaced. Though it is more than 15 days nothing has been happened. Every day I am contacting the company. I am given the standard reply that within two days battery will be replaced

APC Inverter — NO replacement after 1 month of complaint lodging

This is in regards to the complaint lodgged on 30th september 2009 in APC call centre via complaint number CI-[protected]

ITS REALLY SHOCKING TO SEE THE COMPANY's PATHETIC SERVICE AND FALSE COMMITMENT OF REPLACEMENT. Really shocked to see that a company like APC is playing with the money of its clients...............
I am getting no tollfree numbers for repairing of APC invertor in Jaipur (Raj.) India
I guess there is some problem with power supply itself. if there is fluctuation in the power the inverter may go bad. so get the power line tested for stability.

True Power Inverters — AFTER SALE SERVICE

I am a 76 years old senior citizen and retired Major General.
I purchsed an invertor in 2009 as per details below
MODEL TRUEPOWER UPSZ 860
INVERTOR # 080505A761
It is in warranty period and stopped charging on 23 April 2010. I rang up the complaint cellm of True Power on that day at tel #[protected] but yjere was no response.
Next day, 0n 24/4, I rang up again at 1005 hrs and spoke to Ms Anju, who promised to send Mr. rajesh sharma (cell #[protected]) who promised to come in the afternoon. When he did not come, i tried to ring again but he had switched off his cell. I spoke to Ms Anju and was told to contact one pandey but his sell# [protected] was also switched off. Next day was Sunday and we suuffered Noida power cuts in this hot weather.
Today I spoke to Ms anju who gave me cell # [protected] of Pankaj sharma, who said that he has tooany complaints and was not sure about attending my complaint.
This is aterrible state of affairs and some action should be taken against such companies whom promise a lot when selling but are callous in giving service/.

APC Inverter — PATHETIC PRODUCT AND SERVICES

APC invertors are horrible and i recommend strongly that people don’t buy this invertor.after sales service is horrible and the guy who comes to attend from co. tell you point blank that spare parts for APC invertors are not available at all..
i bought this product about 4 yrs back at pune and had been having problems with it ever since. PEOPLE,DON’T BUY INVERTORS FROM APC.....

TRUE POWER — POOR SERVICE

I HAVE PURCHASED AN INVERTER FROM GAYETRI ELECTRONICS SUBHASHGRAM SINCE 8 MONTHS BACK INITIALLY IT WAS GIVING 3 TO 4 HRS BACK UP BUT NOW ITS GIVING ONLY 15 MINS BACK UP, ON APPROACHING THE SERVICING CENTER THEY ARE TELLING IT TO BRING IT TO THERE SERVICING CENTER WHICH IS QUITE FAR FROM THE HOUSE SO THEY ARE NOT SENDING THERE TECHNICIAN TO OUR RESIDENCE WHICH WAS THERE RESPONSIBILITY ONCE THEY CAN SELL IT TO SO FAR THEN THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO GIVE THE SERVICE ALSO BUT THEY ARE NOW REFUSING TO COM FOR SERVICING AS IT IS SO FAR.WHICH IS UNJUSTIFIED.

If it related to APC Home Inverter, Model:850VA, I have given a complaint blinking light'fault' on 25th Jully2011, received a telephone call to-day to know the complaint(05.8.2011), it seems how prompt the company and servicing center to attend the fault!Why not take legal action on them.Even after giving a mail to the co., email id.Is it possible stay such a long period looking for their visit.to comply.Hope the company has no prompt on attending the fault than attending the purchase query.

I have ordered one unit of APC inverter to Bangalore Office toll free number [protected] . I received a phone call from their Secunderabad Dealer AAA UPS Systems [protected] and enquired the details of my requirements. They sent by transport the 850 VA Sinewave Inverter and 150 Ah AMCO Battery with plastic trolley. I have released the consignment from the transport by paying money and brought to home and the same was informed to the dealer. Dealer's Technical Person came and installed the inverter and checked the load and inverter while collecting the money. My friends who have visited my home also shown interest in buying the product and followed the same procedure by calling their toll free number and the same Dealer called them and done the installation. After 3 months, my inverter started troubling me and no power back up and I have complained online through their toll free number. 2 days later secunderabad Dealer's Technical Service Engineer came to Kurnool and checked the inverter and told that the PCB board problem and new inverter has to be replaced within 2 days. I have called toll free Bangalore number who registered another complaint with a sms to my mobile that the problem will be resolved within 2 business working days. I have repeatedly called them after two days. After 20 days, they replaced with a refurbished inverter and same issue and same repeated. This time with battery and they replaced with new battery.

Meantime, my friend who has purchased from the same dealer has got the same battery problem and APC Bangalore office told that they have not supply 150 Ah battery and will not replace the battery. We have called the dealer who supplied. He took almost 40 days on repeated phone calls to them using all sorts of tricks including the threat of registering a case in consumer forum. Meantime, another friend who has seen my inverter and wish to recommend for his brothers (3) and for his personal use one, they have ordered through this toll free Bangalore number for four units. We have explained our problem and the laziness of company's action and some other user's experiences, they have cancelled APC inverters and chosen a local dealer who is doing good service. So, please don't encourage APC inverters to your friends and avoid their sorrow faces.

ON 9TH DECEMBER 2011 AT 11.30 A.M. YOUR REPRESENTATIVE FROM COMPUTER CARE 12/1 LINDSAY STREET KOLKATA 700029 REPLACED THE INVERTER AND TOOK RS.1850/- FOR AMC.

ON THE 28TH OCTOBER THE PLUG CONNECTING THE MAINLINE WITH THE DIGITAL INVERTER DISRUPTED. AND THE SAME FOUND TO BE OUT O[censored]SE SINCE THAN AND HAVING LODGED COMPLAINT TO THE AMC PROVIDER WHO RESPONDED VERY NICELY AND ADVISED THAT AFTER HOLYDAY ON THE 31ST OCTOBER 2012 THE REPRESENTATIVE WILL REPORT FOR REDRESSAL.BUT AS ILL LUCK WOULD HAVE IT TILL DATE NONE OF THEM REPORTED FOR THE REASON BEST KNOWN TO THEM.

KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND ARRANGE TO REDRESS THE GRIEVANCES PLEASE.

On 09.04.13 I got an e-mail from your office that you have received payment for AMC renewal & I will receive my AMC certificate within 10-12 days. But till today I do not receive any certificate from your end. I have contacted over phone & mailed several times to your office but of no help.

Please look into the matter and arrange to redress my grievance.
