[Resolved] Auto Driver — Incorrect Digital fare | |||
Complaint against Auto KA03 B3195 Today I took an auto from Kanakanagar to Bannerggatta Jaydeva Hospital (Airtel office) normal fare would only be approximately Rs109/- old fare and new fare would be Rs.132 and the distance covered is15.5 kms. But to my shock I found the km reading as 19.9km and the amount charged by the auto driver Rs.170/-. He refused to admit that his meter has been tampered and showing an eronous reading. We were forced to pay the charges told by the auto driver as he had started to verbally abuse. We require the concerned authority to check the auto drivers meter and have the same corrected. For many of the travellers would be paying extra for no fault. Was this information helpful? | |||

Auto Driver — Wrong Charges
Respected Sir/MadamToday i.e. 16th Dec'11 I hired a Auto from Hotel Roayl, Alkapuri, Vadodara to Indra Complex, Manjalpur, Vadodara. Yesterday also I hired for the same route and I was charged Rs. 65/- as per the meter and that too not for the shortest distance.
But today this driver initially charged me Rs. 150/- for the same route and it was the shortest distance. After quite a argument also he took Rs. 100/- from me.
Kindly suggest or do the needful for the same.

Faulty Meter and extra demand by auto driver in bangalore
I hired the auto from Majestic to indira nagar, double road, he asked 20 Ruppes extra and upon reaching I noticed that the Meter was showing a figure of 143 Rupees, where as I am a daily user of auto service and usually the meter fare is 92-97 Rupees.
The driver charged me 180 Rupees 143 Meter reading revised w.e. f 160 and 20 extra become 180
My complain is to check his mter which is electronic but faulty showing a 30 % extra over the normal meter reading and he has asked 20 Rupees extra, and he dint use the proper route to reach the place,
when i note is licence no, he told hat it goverment auto u cant do nothing with his no...
Here i mention is Licence no :21143
