[Resolved] Bag It Today (India Today Group) — Fraud and cheating Bag it today dening cancellations | |||
On 11th Nov. evening i received call from bagittoday from numbers below [protected], [protected] mentioning me that i am Platinum customer and i am entitled to get free gift for my previous purchase. He then took my bank details for my verification by mentioning that not a single rupee can be deducted, But after words he deducted two amount of Rs 17999/ and 24999/ against the order no [protected] and [protected] in spite of refusal without my permission. Then he again called me and said it wrongly happened and blocked under order Id [protected] and [protected] , and it will be returned to u as it is wrongly processed. Then he told me to say ok to verfication call as it lead to some other complication. Now the person named is Bijay Kumar. Today morning immediately i called to customer care cancelled the order. The complain numbers are 999680, 999683. Now the customer care is not able to tell whether my order got cancelled. I did not receive any mail also regarding this. This is totally illegal to do such things saying one thing doing it in other way, being India today group i paid lot of faith on it. Inspite of my cancellation immediately to the booked Id [protected] and [protected] which has happened due to the fraud sales agent, practicing illegal and unfair means to generate sales without following the proper procedure of e.com retailing, now not responding at all. Whenever it is asked to customer care they r not even in a position to tell me the cancellation status of the orders. Because of my two previous purchases ,i have been persuaded to pay faith by mentioning name o[censored]r India today group. the person named Bijay kumar (doubting its original name) took away bank details and debited two amounts 17799/ and 24999/. He then gave me wrong information that it has been by mistake debited and will be returned to ur account very soon. With the assurance that he is calling me day after diwali, no news from this person, seems that the person vanished somewhere by stealing away the money. The order booked mistakely by the sales & prom agent on 11th of Nov evening. I cancelled the order 12th Nov morning immediately through customer care. Now on 16th afternoon a Sales person named Manish called me and forcing me to say ok to the verification call even though i cancelled the same in the 2nd verification call, he threatened me to deduct 30% of the total money i.e 14000 for some gateway charges, otherwise Again i received two message for the shipment of the orders even though i cancelled it imediately the very next day. A order cancelled immediately should be stopped from further processing and should not be processed as per ur sales agent because it is the customer who is paying money. Perhaps this is the worst case of online retailing till now happened to anybody, and let us join hands to blacklist this group who has exceeded the limits of corruption, fraud and impose huge penalty to recover the loses that has occured. the same case happened with me . i had ordered two items in two ids after 10 days they are saying that the items are out of stock. i have written to them about cancellation. lets see what they are replying. what i am getting money or items ????

India Today Bag it Today — Fraud and Cheating done by them
I had ordered for two Blackberry Mobile Phones on 02/08/2011 amounting to Rs.7,199 each through my Axis Bank Credit Card after looking at an advertisement on my bank site. The same were needed urgently. On every follow up on phone, I was told that the same would be despatched in 2-3 days by their service executives on phone number[protected]. However, on 02/09/2011 I came to know on calling that my order is cancelled due to non availability of stock and my money is reversed on 31/08/2011 vide transaction ids MCIT[protected] and MCIT[protected].I have not received the reversal till today. Please advise:
1.) Why has the thing of non availability came after 1 month of order booking ?
2.) When will I get my amount back ?
In the meantime, I am getting calls from phone number[protected] of their department to claim free gift on payment of some amount.
Can anything be done with fraudsters like them who take moneys of people, make them go round and round and then don't refund their amounts. Such kind of online shoppers who take others money as granted should be banned so that they don't play with other people's moneys.
