Dear Sir,

I have applied for a Personal Loan from HDFC Bank.

HDFC Bank informed me that, from my PAN No: AOHPB1766M it reflects on their system in CBIL & SATYAM that you are having a HSBC Credit card having no: [protected],
And you were declared as a defaulter by the HSBC Bank, for that reason we can not proceed your Personal Loan Request and need clearance from HSBC that not a defaulter.

I had applied for the HSBC Credit card in Nov 2007 when I was in Hyderabad, on the day I left Hyderabad the credit card was came on the given address, which I was unable to receive the Card because on the same day I was travelling by Train to Orissa. The courier dispatcher called me and without receiving the Credit card, the card was finally returned to the HSBC Bank.

Now queering to HSBC Bank on the above mater several times that, how you have declared me as a defaulter without receiving the Credit Card on [protected]@hsbc.co.in, HSBC replies that (our records reflects that we were not in receipt of payments towards your card outstanding within due date, and as on date the outstanding towards your card account reflects as NIL).

HSBC Bank is asking repeatedly for the proof that (We request you to revert with the scanned copy of the letter sent by the financial institution stating that HSBC has reported you as a defaulter for us investigate further).

As per HSBC request for the proof, HDFC Bank is unable to share the asked details with me due to their internal security concerns.

Now speaking to your executive on this phone no : [protected], they are saying that you have been charged an amount of Rs 2000 towards the yearly service activation charge of card which you have to pay, then only the HSBC bank can provide the clearance that not a defaulter.

Please suggest that, without receiving the HSBC credit card how come I can pay the yearly service charge.

All most 20 days are gone by the process of mail escalation, So request you to revert with Clearance at the earliest that “I am not at all credit card user of HSBC Bank and not a defaulter”

So that my Personal Loan request can be proceed!!!
